To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. The cabin's location is on the northern side of Furuberget, and with lots of hiking trails and only 800 meters walk from the beach at Mjøsa, this is a good starting point for trips, relaxation and fun. Walking or cycling along the promenade from Jessnes to Hamar is a great trip of about 8 km, and a great starting point for many nice experiences.
