You will find everything from garden furniture, hammock and outdoor activities in the form of games and a trampoline. The house is close to the forest, which is filled with beautiful lakes, and it is a 3-minute drive from Silkeborg's most beautiful lake, which you can see in the pictures. There is grass + outdoor areas, and the house has two bedrooms, a large living room + conservatory, kitchen, hallway, bathroom and toilet. There is WiFi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to enjoy peace, nature experiences, socializing and lovely conversations!

WELCOME to a stay in our beautiful apartment, which is located in the amazing nature, right up the forest and with several lakes in the area - including a short distance to Østre Søbad, where you can swim all year round. There's also a sauna in connection with the lake. We live in the middle of Søhøjlandet and have a 10-minute drive to Silkeborg city center. There are 2 km to Pizzaria and shopping in Virklund. There is wifi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to peace and good nature experiences. There is underfloor heating throughout the home.

Boligen ligger helt op ad landevejen men har lydisolerede vinduer. Men støj fra trafik må forventes- særligt i hverdagene, hvor der kører lastbiler og traktore og ved høsttid. If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗
