What a wonderful place to stay for a couple of days R&R or an extended holiday. We were a group of seven who had been travelling around Tassie, playing golf. We had two nights here for a lovely rest, and what a fabulous place to do just that. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. We really didn't need to leave the house as there was plenty to do there, either relaxing by the fire, playing pool or relaxing in the spa and pool. The house is perfect for a group of friends or a family reunion for a holiday or a few days catch up. I would recommend this property to anyone. Thank you Jason for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Ross is the most beautiful village to unwind. Great cafe. The house was lovely & warm. Great space in beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend.

Perfection. Attention to detail- even in the kitchen…we had all the dishes and utensils necessary to cook like a chef at the house! There are even pantry items there- so check on that before running to the grocery store in town because we bought doubles in some things. I’m sure the selections in the pantry will vary. In addition, there may be garden produce ready for the picking!! Make sure and check with the host first- that will be seasonal, I’m sure. Beds are comfortable, showers have hot water, tub with jets is helpful after a day of sight-seeing. As owner notes, it isn’t hot, just warm…but it was still a good experience. Decks overlook bay/ocean- you get to witness the changing colors of the Hazards throughout the day standing over the bay. And if you are wondering- we saw amazing Aurora lights out over the water! Windows everywhere! Just incredible’views- there are no words. And you boy minutes from Swansea. Host has a book with restaurant suggestions. Grocery.❤️

This is an outstanding property with a wonderful and responsive host. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The house is very private and well appointed, maintained and stocked with quality produce and supplies - we were also welcomed by a beautiful hamper, and warm service. The property itself has stunning views from almost every window. We enjoyed using the gym (located in an adjacent private building which can also be used as a study), pool and spa. We had a few things on our list to visit for the Huon Valley but were very content to stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities. We would most definitely return here when visiting Tasmania.

Beautiful place! 10 members in 2 families stayed for 4 nights while driving around Tasmania. We cooked most meals in and enjoyed the space for our Canadian/Australian family connection. There was a lot of space to be alone or together. We even did yoga on the top floor that was fully equipped. There are beautiful surroundings near the sea and we were grateful to have the pool available so close to winter. The total experience made a great memory for our families.

We had an excellent few days with our family at Marina’s house. The house is simple with large rooms and lots of space indoor and out. The view is lovely and ever changing and the kids loved the ducks and native hens. An ideal place for a family gathering.

Great location for family or friends to get together. Literally walk out the door onto a beautiful beach. Plenty of outdoor amenities available incl swimming pool, tennis, basketball hoop, billiards, kayaks etc. Quiet and peaceful area, but close to airport and to Hobart so very convenient. Great communication from Julie in advance who also met us on arrival and showed us in. Thank you for a great stay.

Absolutely blown away by our stay, everything was perfection. Our host Nancy’s communication was great, and the detailed, helpful information provided before and during our stay made everything so seamless. The main house tour was such a delight, setting the tone for the incredible experience. As for the location, it's truly heaven on earth. I honestly believe I will never stay anywhere prettier! The house itself is styled to absolute perfection, with insane attention to detail in every corner. But without a doubt, it was that breathtaking main view and the stunning, color-coded bookcase that truly stole the show and captured my heart. Thank you for creating such an unforgettable and beautiful escape! We can't wait to return some day!

The lobster pot cabin was fantastic! A quick weekend away for us was great here. It was a great house and it’s styled perfectly, our infant was also looked after with a portacot and bedding already set up for her. She loved being somewhere new! Also first airbnb I’ve been to where the hosts provide a Tasmanian bottle of wine and local cheese - was awesome! The private beach is amazing, we spent a lot of time sitting out there watching the sunsets. Close to Coles bay and its activities The neighbour across the caul de sec was blasting music both Friday and Saturday night so luckily we had bought our white noise machine for our baby to lessen the noise. It doesn’t take away anything from this awesome air bnb but just be mindful if you want total quiet you’re not going to get it if they are also visiting their shack at the same time as your visit.

Provider House is absolute perfection. Every detail is curated to create a space that is serene, warm and inviting. We stayed with a full house of adults in winter and the spaces accommodated us perfectly. The bedrooms are gorgeous and the shared spaces were perfect for lounging and enjoying the fire and warmth inside. The kitchen is fully kitted out to cook for a group with beautiful dining room looking out to the bush. The extensive collection of handmade Japanese ceramics were so lovely I can’t wait to buy some from Provider Store. The bathroom and wooden Japanese bath are the ultimate indulgence, so beautifully designed you just want to be in there for hours. We also loved the linens and robes and towels, it felt like every detail had been considered. Location-wise it was perfect, it’s just a short drive from Hobart CBD but it feels like you’re much further from the hustle and bustle. Nestled in the bush with a running stream it feels like a spa retreat. Can’t wait to return.

We loved our time at Stewart’s Bay Beach house. The view is amazing; it’s great to have the beach so close. Shops and local attractions are within a 10-min walk. The house is also well appointed. We’ll be back!

Beautiful house in a gorgeous location, if you’re an early riser and love watching sunrises, this is the perfect spot for you. The beach is very close by, and there are some excellent restaurants in the vicinity. I sent a few queries to the hosts during my stay, and they replied in record time, which was really appreciated. The house is located on a very steep hill on a corner block, which means nearly every car that goes past is flooring it right past your bedroom window, so if you’re a light sleeper, make sure you bring earplugs or a white noise machine to block out the excessive car noise.

This place was so wonderful to stay at. Everything was beautifully curated and all the attentions to detail were wonderful. Craig has truly thought of everything in creating this place. The view was also incredible and location was so convenient for places like Port Arthur. We loved our time here and would love to come back one day

The thing that really stood out to me about this Airbnb is the thoughtful touches. Things like cotton buds, band aids and tampons in the bathrooms. The fridge and pantry were well-stocked with basics (above and beyond what other hosts consider “basic” imho). And the hosts kindly turned on the heater for us before we arrived. The house itself is really charming and sometimes a little weird in a way that only older houses are. Like why is one of the toilets at the top of two steps? I don’t know, but I loved it and I’ll remember it fondly. Loved looking at the tchotchkes all over the house; though the collection is eclectic, it’s been thoughtfully put together. The bed in the larger bedroom: SO COMFY. Slept like the absolute dead. Very conveniently located in a central part of town. Very easy to duck over to the IGA (visitors from larger cities be careful - they close at 6pm) and The Branch next door was a great time. Highly recommend. Would definitely return if I was back in the area.

Appreciated that we could bring our elderly dog with us. Lovely property with a great aspect from the back of the house. Lots of great outdoor zones within the fenced back yard. We were disappointed that we couldn’t spend more time at the property as it was work trip with us attending a weekend conference being held at the Eastcoaster. Bernacchi’s Retreat had everything we could want, with many extra’s.

Beautiful space overlooking Coles Bay and the Freycinet peninsula, perfect for relaxing and experiencing the natural beauty of the area.

We had a great stay! The place was super clean, cozy, and perfect for relaxing. The host was really responsive and helpful. We loved playing tennis in the evenings and watching the sunset — such a nice touch. Would definitely come back! Thanks Emma and Sam :)

Lumiere Lodge is a truly special stay, and very unique in its offering. Beautifully decorated, the house was immaculate and the furnishings very luxe which made for a lovely and comfortable stay. We particularly loved the gorgeous garden view from the kitchen, the warm fire, and the stunning bathtub in the main bathroom. Kerran and Samuel were gracious and helpful hosts, so welcoming and we loved the special little touches during our visit - the stunning sunflowers in the kitchen, the fresh bakery and hot coffee delivery one morning, and the generously stocked fridge and plentiful firewood. We have stayed in many Airbnbs over the years, and our stay here with all the extra touches and attention to detail was absolutely a standout, and one we won't forget! Lumiere Lodge felt like a warm cocoon during our winter stay, and the neighbourhood was so lovely and peaceful. A stunning property to call home while in Hobart, thanks Kerran and Samuel!

This house was as amazing in person as in the pictures. The house has everything to be comfortable, along with all the usual stuff there were a few things that are not in some Airbnb's; like a well stocked kitchen to cook up in, laundry facilities and easy to use speakers and TV for chill times. This was our first trip with our eight month old baby, bassinet and high chair were provided and with the laundry and cooking so easy to do it was a real pleasure and we got a chance to relax and soak in the amazing house and surroundings. The area was lovely too, there are some nice walks near by and the beach is so close you can hear the waves. The cafe down the street is a nice little walk away and has a great breakfast. There is also a general store near by and shops about a fifteen minutes drive away. Absolutely loved my stay, communication was helpful and easy and the house and surroundings are as gorgeous as the pictures. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Bon Marché. It is a spacious and beautiful home with lovely gardens and great amenities for kids as well, including a cubby house and trampoline. We were travelling with a 5 year old and 8 week old and found the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The house was impeccably clean and even smelled amazing. It has top end appliances and lovely bath products. The location is great, within walking distance of Burton’s reserve and the Cygnet town centre. David is a perfect host providing detailed and clear instructions. He’s friendly and responsive. Overall this was a perfect Airbnb experience and we would recommend Bon Marché for anyone looking for a luxurious and family friendly stay in the Huon. We’d love to come back sometime for a longer visit.

We had a fantastic stay at Kylie’s place. It was perfectly located to visit Maria Island and we really appreciated all the thoughtful extra touches. The bath was huge, the house spotless, and the kids loved the cubby house and all the toys. This was one of our best Airbnb stays so far.
