Kick back and relax in this calm, just-remodeled space under the oak trees in historic Buffalo Gap. The master bedroom was a 1-room schoolhouse from the 1890's to 1914, where "Miss Sallie" Young taught (after she retired from 54 years in Texas public schools). After many additions and updates, it's now a quiet part of a Church Camp property (which you're welcome to explore). Perini Ranch Restaurant is nearby, as well as several other great places to eat - not to mention Abilene is 8 miles away.

Barndo on the Ridge is located in north Abilene not far from downtown and close to S. 1st. The Barndo sits at the top of a hill surrounded by pure west Texas country. Get away and enjoy the peace of the country, sip coffee on the porches and enjoy a beautiful sunrise and sunset. Many wildlife can be seen near the feeders, around the property and flying in the sky. You can also get a front row seat to view the military planes as they fly over during the day practicing their flight trainings.

One of a kind loft! This unique apartment was built in 1920 with our Sears Craftsman home. It has been totally renovated and updated and just might be the cutest "steampunk themed tiny house with a sleeping loft" anywhere, much less Abilene. Just minutes from downtown, the SoDA District, The Mill, bars and nightlife, all three universities and Dyess AFB. Our Historic Sayles Loft is perfectly located for one night, a weekend, or more! It’s a tiny space, so two guests is the limit!

Our little unique bungalow is located on Sayles Blvd. Right across the street from McMurry University, 10 mins to ACU, 9 mins to Hardin Simmons. Close to Downtown, and 10 mins to the Abilene Zoo, and Expo center. We do NOT allow pets.Parking available for NO More than 3 vehicles NO parking on the grass. Please note our parking can NOT accommodate big trailers or several large vehicles. Our home is on a busier street with VERY limited parking. No pets due to allergies.

Modern, cozy duplex close to downtown!!

Very simple, but beautiful and comfortable place to stay. You will be staying in one apartment of a duplex. Only 7 minutes away from downtown Abilene (by car), where you can find amazing cafes (Front Porch Cafe, Monk's cafe), and restaurants (Vagabond Pizza, The Local). House is located to close to Sayles Boulevard and Butternut street, which makes it a breeze to get around. There is also an air mattress that you can use for the 5th and 6th person. Thank you!!

The "Cottage" is a private one-bedroom, one-bathroom guest house with a full kitchen that overlooks the backyard pool. The house is situated on 40 acres outside the city limits of Abilene, Texas (Potosi to be exact.) When you arrive, you may see horses grazing out in the pasture, two loving Collies & the farm cat "Major." We hope that our guests enjoy the peaceful country all while being minutes away from entertainment, restaurants, airport & hospitals.

The Dug Out Hideaway is on 10 acres in the country, on the side of a mesa. We have hiking trails through a cedar forest. Wildlife such as deer, fox, racoons, and coyotes could be seen at the feeder near the house. Clear beautiful night sky. Spectacular view overlooking Abilene and countryside. Waterfall on back patio with a view of the mountainside. Large fort for kids to play in.

I would definitely stay with Laura again! While in proximity to the main home, the Airbnb space provides privacy, cleanliness, tranquility and enough space to feel at home. The stocked kitchen, spacious bathroom and cozy bedroom made for great accommodations during our weekend travels. We especially appreciated the dog friendliness and backyard accessibility!

We had a really wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Abilene. The home is very comfortable and welcoming and decorated so tastefully with a lot of attention to detail. Loved the hand painted walls in the entry way and bathroom! Everything we needed was there and the home was spotless. We highly recommend staying here.

Place had everything we needed and the location was even better. Great host and and a great place. Will book again.

Kenny is a very inviting and pleasant host. Situated far off a dead end road, the location is secluded and peaceful. The cabin feels like a set in an old cowboy movie, very cool decor in western/native Indian style. The cabin comes well stocked and has all the amenities you would expect in your own home. Kenny is a great person and will bend over backwards to help anyone. I would recommend staying here to anyone. Side note:The pig feeder is awesome. Family of a dozen pigs comes to the feeder at dusk/dawn every day. Among other critters.
