The best fried rice I had in Bali and such a dry clean place during rainy season. I highly recommend coming here :)

This was a beautiful stay. It was very far from other places and not many restaurant or food options around. It was a lovely and relaxing time to get away for about 3 days and two nights were just enough! The view was perfect and the sunrise in the morning was gorgeous along with the sunset. I would have enjoyed it even more with company. Being alone had its perks as well. Gede and his wife were so loving and kind and helpful !!

If you are thinking of going to Villa Patria , just do it. We spent 10 nights here and it was just perfect. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The Villa is a little remote but that is part of its charm, the driver will take you down to Lovina town centre (or anywhere else in Lovina you want to go) at any time you want and will pick you up anytime you want once a day. The food at the Villa is fantastic and very reasonably priced so it is not necessary to eat out every evening unless you want to. We wouldn’t change a thing about the Villa.

Definitely a great choice if you’re up in the north west Bali! The views from the space upstairs is breathtaking, views of the paddy fields and surrounding mountains with the sunrise/sets. Location is good, basically middle between the surf spots and pretty much a quick drive down to the point or either beaches. Reza and his family were super welcoming and made us feel right at home. The cats were definitely a plus haha loved playing with them, the pool is great as well nice to have a splash on a hot day. Being only having 2 rooms and 2 bungalow huts, it’s pretty private and quiet. Walking distance to the like of Arnies kitchen, Rasta cafe and such. I would definitely recommend staying with Pink Barrel on your trip in Medewi 🙏🏽 thanks guys!

We loved our stay at Melanting cottages. Great big bath and breath taking views. Watched the rain from the balcony. Great waterfall hikes in walking distance. We loved Enjoy Cafe 2 and less noises from the motorbikes in our rooms. Only forrest sounds. Great breakfast view and Warang right next to the cottage. Sufficent drinking water and coffee and a fridge.

Great experience. I felt very welcome there. The whole family was so sweet and lovely. Small kitchen available. You can rent a scooter there to easily get to Ubud within short time. Far away from the crowds . Can recommend to anyone who enjoys an authentic Bali family stay.

I was able to spend 4 nights with Kadek and her family in their “family runned” Hotel and restaurant Shri Ganesh. From the first second, I felt very welcome and you will be part of the family in no time! Eating well (a lot and often) is part of their tradition and was also fully incorporated. They introduced me to the local food of the Warung and the locals on scooters with "street food". In a word: AMAZING! Their own restaurant should of course also be mentioned, that is also very good. I will be brief about the bungalow(s); TOP! * good bed * well-functioning air conditioning (not unimportant) * spacious bathroom with a nice shower There is no shortage of local knowledge at Kadek and Maddy, they can guide you (if you want) anywhere. Beautiful house, with a very cozy terrace with an incredible view. The staff are extremely kind and very helpful. Quality room service and very convenient for eating because there are few restaurants nearby and the food is very good. Direct access to the waterfalls. (First at 600m). Only small downside: the bathroom that deserves a refresh and a little cleaning. But we still recommend this just incredible accommodation. Another great point: can offer you a private driver for your transfers. We were lucky to have Wayan as a driver who was great, we also recommend him. Thank you for everything 🙏🏽

The place itself is fantastic! It’s well-maintained, with stunning views and an overall great vibe. I truly enjoyed my time here. However, the host could be more welcoming and approachable. Despite that, the accommodation and its surroundings made the stay worthwhile.

Black lava camp was a beautiful place to spend our honeymoon. Staff were extremely responsive and kind. Our driver was awesome and kind as well.

This was our favourite place to stay in Bali. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The beach is a stones throw from the front of the property. The pool is beautiful and big enough that you can swim lengths or simply cool off. The accommodation was superb, really, really incredible. Dinner was communal which was fun but you can have a private meal if you would like. We stayed three nights and didn’t book any trips as we just wanted to luxuriate at the resort, but they will book tours if you would like. We would love to go back.

The place is clean and neat. 5 mins walk to beach. 5 mins walk to restaurants and local markets. Helpful in getting the tickets for dolphins trip and finally amazing breakfast. Recommend highly

Overall, it's a great place to spend the night before visiting the waterfalls. A special plus is the tickets for visiting the waterfalls, which guarantee that no one will force a guide on you at the entrance.

We had a fantastic stay with Stefani and her family, they were so friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. They helped us with transport and recommendations for things to do. The pool was great and room lovely, air con was reeeeeeeally appreciated! The value for money was exceptional!!!

After traveling for many many years this has been one of the most incredible places I have stayed at. Service was amazing, staff was always there to help, the views of this place are stunning, and the pool is simply unreal, no pictures of this place really show the beauty of it all. What a beautiful place. The owner Wayan was very responsive and helpful. She planned excursions for us that turned out to be memorable. She even invited us to partake in the opening ceremony of her new yoga pavilion. We felt looked after by Wayan and her team of wonderful and sincere staff. We felt right at home in the clean, spacious and beautiful villa. The food felt like it came from a home kitchen: nourishing and delicious. Massages were excellent, too. Aloka Bahari is a quiet and peaceful place with lots of heart and soul.

Ni Ketut was very responsive with my booking enquiry as I only made a last min decision in Kalimantan on my way in after finding out the hot springs venue was going to close around 6-7pm. I decided to stay the night to soak in the village vibe, and was happy to feel safe, peaceful and had the view of the mountains and lake in the far distance from my villa door. To me, the pool which is filled with the hot springs from the area was definitely a bonus and what I needed after arriving in a Grab from Ubud which took nearly an hour. The private pool for myself amongst the nature that feels quite present all around was good. They cook home style food in the restaurant/ kitchen upstairs at an affordable price, which is another bonus for me. It felt right, not too extravagant but sleek/ modern with the simplicity that makes it right for foreigners or tourists to stay amongst the village/ farm setting.

Lovely place to stay in Kintamani. Staff were kind and very helpful. Food was great and the rooms very nice along with a lovely view of the mountain. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Our stay in a bamboo villa located in the Great Mountain View hotel complex fully met our expectations. The staff of the hotel complex charmed us from the first minutes of our stay: very responsive helpful nice people, ready to help with anything you need. The villa itself is very beautiful and cozy, it is suitable for people who love nature and are not afraid to be surrounded by the sounds and rustles of nature. The villa is located opposite the rice fields with magnificent views of the majestic volcano. There are several great jungle walking trails around the complex and along the rice fields. The place is ideal for people who love nature and want to find themselves outside the promoted tourist trails and spend two or three days in the countryside among the sweetest local population. Special thanks to the hostess Klarijn for the pleasant communication, willingness to meet our needs and responsiveness to our requests and wishes. We will definitely come back and recommend you to our friends and family!
