Kadek and his family were the loveliest hosts. Very responsive and helpful. The breakfast was divine. The level of care put into the tree house and the luscious garden and secluded pool is unreal. Thank you !

We had a very pleasant stay at Dewata Ubud Cottage. Quiet location and the property is charming and private. It has complete amenities, the kitchen is fully equipped if you need to cook and just stay in the villa. There even has a separate massage bed by the pool. Last but not the least, Kadek is a very responsive and helpful host. She helped us connect with a local driver who brought us around Ubud and she also recommended massage therapist.

Ketuts house is very beautiful in a very lovely village close to ubud and much more relaxing then ubud. Ketut and his family were so caring and sweet. They told us a lot about balinese culture and tradition and gave us a lot very usefull hints what to do in bali and sourroundings and most importantly HOW to do it;). We felt immediately like part of the family. Ketuts wife cooks delicious meals!! Definitly visit ketuts place. Everything was really perfect.

Gusti's place is very well decorated, it's very clean and looks new. There's an outdoor (covered) kitchen which can be very usefull. The bathroom is large and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable also! It's just better to have a motorbike to go to the center of Ubud or if you want to go to the restaurant.

We stayed (me and my boyfriend) for a week there. The room was very nice, in the Balinese style, and met our expectations. Equipped with air conditioning, the nights are quiet. Very well located 15 minutes by 15 minutes from the hyper center of Ubud. (Be careful, there are no more sidewalks for 500 m when arriving at Wayan's but the vehicles pay attention to pedestrians, even though Balinese traffic can scare at the beginning for French people like us !). The breakfast served each morning in front of the room, was very good, and typical (fruit, noodles, coffee, tea, Balinese pastries...). Wayan's family is warmly welcomed and wants to share their culture every day with you ! Wayan is a great host, he is very responsive and gladly arranges days to discover Bali with you. A great vacation, to do again! We stayed (my boyfriend and I) a week on the spot. The room was very nice, in Balinese style, and met our expectations. Equipped with air conditioning, the nights are calm. Very well located 15 minutes walk from the hyper center of Ubud. Beware : there is no more sidewalk on 500m near Wayan's house, but the vehicles are paying attention to pedestrians. The breakfast served every morning was very good, and typical (fruit, noodles, coffee, tea, Balinese pastries)! Wayan's family was welcoming and want to share their culture with you everyday ! Wayan is a great host, he is very responsive and willingly organizes days to discover Bali with you. Great holidays !

Very nice location, short walk to main town. Nice warung down the street across from grocery mart. We enjoyed our stay!

We spent 3 days in the accommodation and were sad to have to leave again. We found a super clean room, as well as the entire complex. The accommodation is a little hidden, but still very easy to reach. We were able to rent a scooter on site without any problems. It is about 15-20 minutes to Ubud. The pool was very large and very well maintained. You feel like you are in a small oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud. We can really recommend the accommodation to everyone and would not hesitate to come back immediately! For a small amount of money, we were able to have our clothes washed on site, which was very helpful for the duration of our trip 5/5 stars for everything!

If you want the experience to stay in Balinese neighborhood, Kadek’s place (Roberto) is really good place. The place is clean, it has big windows, nice balcony, very clean, there is a bonus the warmth of neighbors Balinese that always smile and greet you. There are some nice warung tacos and healthy foods nearby, also some small traditional warung if you need anything. Going anywhere is easy and not far, with gojek, in 6 minutes you already reach Ubud Art Market. Kadek also very nice, she provides kettle and glass if you want to make tea or coffee.

Kadek's place was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the main town of Ubud, which is becoming a little too crowded. Yet, it is very walkable to the Bintang Supermarket, from where we could get what we need. Additionally, there are many cafes and restaurants also within walking distance. The villa was clean and well-kept. Kadek was very responsive and helpful. There is absolutely nothing to complain about.

We had a great stay at Wayan's place. We were warmly welcomed by the whole family. The rooms were clean and spacious, the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious (we recommend going for a Balinese option!).

We had an incredible stay and were blown away by the villa and location. Wayan was a gratuitous host who picked us up from the airport. Upon opening the door to the villa we were taken by the beautiful landscape and serenity. This stay was like a dream! The photos do not do it justice. If you are wanting a slice of heaven, I would thoroughly recommend staying here. Wayan also organised a tour for us down to Uluwatu. We cannot thank him enough for his kindness, knowledge, and hospitality!

This was for sure the BEST airbnb I stayed at in my life , the veiw , the place , how quite and nice its , lots of cool places around and its right infront of the rice terrace ! a friend of mine stayed there long time ago and she recommended it and i cant thank her enough , this was the highlight of my bali trip really , such a stunning cute place , I will def come again when i come to bali ❤️❤️

The place was amazing and our stay was comfortable. The location is very good with the marketplace within walking distance. We did not face any issues with regards to finding places to eat or visit close to the stay. We were traveling with family and wanted to use the kitchen which Wayan made sure was clean and ready to use within a day. His proactiveness really impressed us.

Great quiet place, run by friendly helpfull local people. The provide good breakfast, motorcycle or transfer too. Nearby the busy Ubud, restaurants and yoga

What a gorgeous place, we were greeted warmly and shown to our room quickly. The room and bathroom were clean and as described. If I were to critic, it's that the bathroom had a shower head/hose over bath, rather than a stand up shower, however this didn't detract from our wonderful stay. We read other reviews that suggested smells from bathrooms, we did not experience this. The breakfast each morning was beautiful and the pool available to swim whenever we liked. We enjoyed the nearby Rice Fields, highly recommend Sweet Orange Warung to eat, and the nearby markets/shops on the doorstep. A great central location. There are steps leading up to this Homestay so something to be mindful of, and our host showed us a great spot to get taxis from (a cut through to another street with easier vehicle access, just ask and she'll advise). We'd return here in a heartbeat. Thanks for looking after us 😊🙏

Putu's place is a real family business, one of the best in Indonesia and definitely the best in Bali where I have been so far. I am not a fancy person so I do not care about high end things, I always looking for the local experience, this is part of the picture. The hospitality, the ambiance and the communication was excellent and we were very happy to receive a lot of useful help from him. He gave us a lift from Canggu Beach for a fair price and flexible schedule and he gave us good advices. Daily cleaning and confy bed with mosquito net gave us comfort at the end of the day.

I loved my stay! Anung and his family were humble, kind, and always quick to respond to anything I needed. I’d definitely love to stay here again the next time I visit.

Komang and her family are one of the most welcoming families I’ve met in Ubud! I was welcomed as if I were a member of their family. The unit complex is ideal and has a kitchen area along with a nice lounge. Komang cleans the room every few days and makes sure I have everything I need. I felt right at home and I was very lucky to be invited to their ceremony day and be part of the celebrations, dressing up in Balinese attire and walking to the temple with their family. I can’t thank Komang enough and will definitely book again when I am next in Ubud! Thank you!

If you are thinking of going to Villa Patria , just do it. We spent 10 nights here and it was just perfect. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The Villa is a little remote but that is part of its charm, the driver will take you down to Lovina town centre (or anywhere else in Lovina you want to go) at any time you want and will pick you up anytime you want once a day. The food at the Villa is fantastic and very reasonably priced so it is not necessary to eat out every evening unless you want to. We wouldn’t change a thing about the Villa.
