Peaceful self-contained studio apartment at the top of the Howth Hill. The studio has a stunning view. It has a kitchen area with a sink, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, and a bathroom. The Summit Inn, which serves food, is a three minute walk away, as is a shop selling essentials. There are buses to Howth village, Howth train station and Dublin City Centre. Hill and cliff walks are on the doorstep The studio is attached to a family home with its own separate staircase and entrance.

Beautiful location beside the sea, parks and birds sanctuaries. Public transport outside the door. 5km from city centre. Clontarf is full of excellent restaurants and cafes. Easy to order takeaway from multiple restaurants. Excellent WiFi, netflix and TV. Wonderful location in Victorian House. No access to kitchen.

Cosy Island cottage in the heart of Dublin

This is a unique opportunity to see the sights of Dublin City whilst staying on a Nature Reserve with the peace and quiet that has to offer. The Cottage is 10 seconds from the beach and 10 mins from Dublin City Centre by car or 20 by bus. There are wonderful walks on the island and also several excellent restaurants within walking distance or use the bikes for the 10k cycle path around the bay! We love to share this very special location with anyone that enjoys something out of the ordinary!

Bright and airy studio. Newly refurbished in April 2020. Private outdoor patio. Conveniently located to the train and bus routes getting you in to Dublin City in around 20 minutes. Very close to the coast. Lovely walks towards Howth and Portmarnock and Malahide. Please note that the studio apartment is an extension to the rear of our house, it is not accessible to the house. Access via a side lane. Studio has private patio but we do have 3 young children who sometimes use the garden.

I only stayed two nights, yet I couldn't have asked for more. There were bathroom articles plus towels available, I could make full usage of the kitchen if needed and of course whenever I had a question they'd help me out. Very friendly, clean and overall a great experience for a first time solo traveler. Thank you so much!

Staying with Eileen was amazing! Her home is outside of the hustle and bustle of the city, but you can still get into the city center with just a short train ride! The train station is not far from the house, and the walk is easy and lovely. Eileen is an incredible host who takes great care of her guests. She gave incredible recommendations, helped me with transport, and was an excellent person to have a conversation with! Thank you so much Eileen :)

Sal is the consummate host... always looking out for his guests. His home is spotlessly clean, modern, and very comfortable. There was a bit of confusion on our part about how to enter the complex. It involves a key fob but once we became familiar with how to use it it was no trouble at all. Sal provided a list of nearby (and easily walkable) restaurants and pubs for us. We enjoyed the food and service at both McHughes (dinner) and The Manhattan (for drinks). We began our trip to Ireland in downtown Dublin and will end it there this evening. Sal's home provided a quiet/comfortable place to land before we ventured back into the city for one last night. It was the perfect place to land for us after driving around the country for five days. Thank you, Sal!

I really enjoyed my stay here! It’s the perfect balance of lived-in: it’s not a generic rental property & you also don’t feel like an intruder. I felt very comfortable. I was also very glad I chose this opportunity over central Dublin, as Howth and Bull Island are incredible.
