Our Calm Country Cabin Oasis is located just outside the city limits of San Antonio. We are 20 minutes from downtown San Antonio, the river walk, Alamo, and the Tower of Americas. The cabin is equipped with a comfy bed to sleep in, a couch that turns into a bed to relax on, and a table to eat or work at. On another table you will find find a medium sized refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, a Keurig, paper goods, coffee, and a box full of snacks. The cabin also has an en-suite bathroom.

We are about 35 min to New Braunfels or SanAntonio and about 20 min to Canyon Lake and Blanco. We are close to the Guadalupe River, Guadalupe State Park, Natural Bridge Caverns, Schlitterbahn, Fiesta Texas and Fredericksburg is about 45 minutes away. Plenty of parking and a fenced back yard. 2 pets max.

Our cozy one room cabin is tucked away in a peaceful wooded area, accompanied by the sounds of a running creek just out front. This spot is a great place to relax and unplug from the busyness of life. Enjoy a stroll or hike alongside the creek, plop some chairs in the water and take in the sounds of nature. Kids enjoy exploring, wildlife and roasting marshmallows while snuggling up around a campfire. The experience is much like camping, not to be compared with a hotel.

Handley Chalet - Country Living in a Big City

The ‘Chalet’ is in the Timberwood Park area in north San Antonio - a great location for business travelers and vacationers alike. It has easy access to HW281 and Loop 1604, with Six Flags Fiesta Texas and the famous San Antonio Riverwalk just a short drive away. Great for getting away from it all and resting, or using as home base while exploring San Antonio and New Braunfels. A cozy, convenient and peaceful spot on a working farm. This is a small apartment above separate garage with private entrance. Perfectly situated 5 minutes to Comfort, 25 to Kerrville, 25 to Fredericksburg & 20 to Boerne: Great for taking advantage of all the dining, shopping and attractions in the hill country. Also an especially good location for bicyclists & motorcyclists. One small house-trained dog that remains leashed while outdoors is welcome.
