“Best one yet,” to quote my husband. We LOVED calling this adorable and private accommodation of Rose’s our home away from home for the 12 days we spent in Chimney Rock. Everything that we needed and more was provided. Rose is delightful and made us feel so welcomed. The village of Chimney Rock, nestled in the Hickory Nut Gorge, is a treasure with restaurants and plenty of little shops that are walkable from this location. And the star of the show, Chimney Rock State Park, is directly behind Rose’s house, just a 3-mile jaunt up the mountain. Rose’s garden alone is a gem to behold, located right outside your door. We loved the privacy of the location, as well as the peace and quiet that was afforded to us after busy days hiking and exploring this magnificent region. We were thrilled to see a few other residents of this area from time to time, members of the black bear population. So if you are searching for an authentic experience when coming to Chimney Rock, this is the place!

There were some wonderful, particular touches that made this place special: the admirable iron-work throughout the house, the little bowl of chocolates, the "Everybody Poops" children's book. The location is absolutely ideal if you want to be able to walk to a delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner. (We had an incredible chocolate cake at the pizza place directly next door.) We were also easily able to walk to the local lake and the Saturday market. We were also surprised by how little street noise there was; the bedroom being near the back of the space helped with this too. It was an ideal weekend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Absolute perfection! Claudia and Ricardo’s place was everything we hoped for and more. The location is unbeatable—just a short, easy walk to downtown, which made getting to the Billy Strings show every night a breeze. The space itself was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. You can tell they put a lot of thought into making their guests feel at home. We’ll 100% be back next time we’re in town.

The garden cottage was clean, comfortable and quiet. The perfect place for a little getaway. I loved watching the beautiful chickens in the yard. Definitely recommend!

Within walking distance to downtown (although the hills to get there can be a bit challenging). had issue with A/C, but host was very responsive to get it fixed.

Liz’s place was perfect for our weekend stay. We could not have asked for anything more! She was kind and responded quickly to our text. Loved the property and the peacefulness in the evening watching fireflies and the rhododendrons blooming nearby in the morning light. The snacks and teas were a special treat. The mini kitchen had multiple choices for coffee also. The bed was comfortable, we both slept well, and the shower had plenty of hot water and pressure. Definitely a place we would be happy to visit again in the future.

The space was perfect for myself, my 20-something daughter, and my uncle. Beautifully furnished, such an elegant space. Beds very comfortable, quiet sanctuary after our days out and about in Asheville. Nine Mile is always a must when in town, right across the street! The Montford neighborhood is great, nice walks, and the heart of downtown is literally about a 15 minute walk. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

Super place. Very walkable to any thing you’d want to do in Asheville. Near freeway but very quiet. 2nd time there would definitely rent again.

Pros: Everything Cons: Nothing We’ve stayed in Airbnbs from Florida to Alaska and everywhere in between but this is one of, if not the cleanest place I’ve stayed in. The hosts are great and easy to communicate with and you are 10mins away from anything you might need. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

Cecil's place is one of the better Airbnb stays I've ever had the priviledge of experiencing. The view from the blacony was gorgeous, and everything was clean and comfy. Cecil's instructions for everything were very thoroigh and accurate. He even gave some tips on destinations and was a delight to meet. I would gladly come back and stay again!

Suzanne was a great and friendly host! Her place was the perfect location, close to downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was nice to relax by the pool and eat at a few of the local restaurants she recommended. We loved staying here and recommend this place to anyone who is traveling to the Asheville area.

This is one of the nicest Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at! This room is very spacious, clean, and in a quiet safe neighborhood. Perfect location for visiting the blue ridge parkway, Pisgah NF, Asheville and Black Mountain! I highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the area!

We enjoyed our stay. Cindi was friendly, hospitable, and gave us great recommendations of things to do and places to eat nearby. We would stay there again.

We love to stay in the Montford area when we visit. it's walkable to downtown and also has character of its own. Heidi's place was super cozy/comfortable and close to several restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely come back to Heidi's.

First I will say, we are picky and this spot was PERFECT!!! We loved everything about Jane’s place!! Jane and her sweet husband were very helpful and accommodating and so friendly! I highly recommend their little getaway and we will definitely be back!

Annual trip with my brother. This was our second stay, and it was as great as it was last year. It’s just a super lovely space on a surprisingly secluded property. Sitting porch is gorgeous. The backyard is gorgeous. Hot tub is clean and inviting. Location is good (walking distance for lots of West Asheville stuff). Mike was very engaged helping us coordinate dates and attentive to every bit of communication. We’re grateful for the lovely base camp.

Peaceful, private, and close to downtown! I was pleasantly surprised with how peaceful the backyard was. Hot tub room was a huge plus. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

We had an excellent last minute stay. Apartment was clean and Arayna even set up the air mattress for us before our arrival. We visited some of the restaurant recommendations and found a new favorite spot. The hot tub was clean and we had a nice view of the fireflies in the field from the hot tub. We could not get the outdoor fire ring to work, but could have been user error, either way we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying here!! It was beautiful! Our favorite things were the waterfall, the big deck and the yard!

Denise's place is very nice. It's located in a peaceful, wooded setting that is 4 minutes from downtown Black Mountain. The bed is comfortable and everything in the space is in great shape. The hot tub is very nice and has a view of the back yard and an adjacent wooded area. Denise and Jimmy are helpful and quick to respond to messages. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be able to rent again in the future.

We were so lucky to find this place about 2 miles from my Son’s house. After a short ride on some windy, hilly roads (not bad at all) we arrived in a lovely neighborhood. As hosts they were friendly and helpful and more than generous. They supplied breakfast foods, water bottles, and other food stuffs that were more than welcome after a long drive. The Airbnb was spotless and welcoming, bed (master, we didn’t use the other bedroom) was extremely comfortable. Of course the hot tub was a huge bonus that was also a welcomed perk. Barbara and Steve were there when we arrived and were More than gracious. From start to finish our visit was perfect. We felt right at home and access to downtown Weaverville and Asheville was a breeze. We will definitely return.

Felt right at home and safe. The bed was comfy and we both slept well. No noise at all. Very quiet surroundings. While private and quiet, it was still somehow right around the corner from so many nice places to shop, eat, and get outdoors. Lovely hosts who were appreciative of the respectful way we treated their home.
