Sadly, the historic meditation temple (c.1995) was destroyed in the February 2024 bushfire.

Period mud brick cottage originally built sometime before or around 1900 with family history stretching back five generations and the gold rush. The owners of the cottage have an affinity with wombats and a respect for the traditional custodians of the land, so in naming the property they chose to acknowledge both. Wariin is an old miners cottage, circa 1900's, tastefully renovated to make your stay both relaxing and comfortable. It is perfect as a couples retreat or a small family holiday, it is private and pet friendly (small dogs only, larger dogs at owners approval)

Situated in the most desirable part of Hepburn Springs and at end of a long private driveway through the lightly forested sloping 1-acre site (with two other small cottages at the front end of the site) that backs onto and has direct access to the Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve, the cottage provides a relaxing and peaceful getaway.
