MUST BE COVID SAFE Local cafes and restaurants only a 5 min walk, 10min walk to the botanical gardens, CBD is only 12mins by car. The studio is spacious, light and airey. Once inside, views to the pool which is surrounded by tropical garden. In the pool area there is a large sunbed for relaxing, morning coffee or a quiet sundowner. My place is very private, quiet and you will have a real local experience. It offers your own BBQ for cooking.

1.5 Km from the city centre on a quiet street. 25 Dunn st is a quaint colonial style tropical cottage set in a lush garden with 2 outdoor sitting areas overlooking a large fishpond. NOT SUITABLE FOR TODDLERS. (Lots of water) 2 AIR CONDITIONED bedrooms with queen size beds. A complete, fully equiped house. THE LIVING/KITCHEN AREA ARE NOT AIR CONDITIONED, however ceiling fan, louvered walls and bifold door offer good through ventilation.

Marney is such a great host! She's super friendly and very accommodating. Her home is lovely as well - you will definitely be happy staying here. Everything is updated and well maintained, lots of storage space in the bedroom, really nice bathroom, beautiful yard, etc. And Ted (her dog) is trained and a pleasure to have around. She also keeps her home very tidy, provides a lot of misc. items like toiletries, coffee, etc., and makes time to connect with her guests. Wifi is reliable (I was remote working) and your room is located down the hall from her bedroom, so your area feels a bit removed/private in a nice way, too. As for the location, I didn't have a vehicle but I managed just fine as there are restaurants/bar/grocery store with less than a 10 min walk, a larger mall/plaza/center within a 25 min walk, and only a 10 min walk to the bus stop which will take you to Cairns center or anywhere else. Highly recommended :)

This was hands down the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in—better than modern city apartments I’ve stayed at in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The space is private, secure, beautifully styled, and fully equipped with everything you could need—down to high-quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, plush towels, and even salt! (which I always have to buy when we go to an air BnB/ hotel). The bedding was comfy, and although we stayed in winter, the place is so well-ventilated it would be perfect in Cairns’ humid summer too. The welcome touches—wine, cheese, snacks, and a handwritten card were so thoughtful. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyond. There’s a BBQ, full kitchen, washer/dryer, and it’s close to takeaway spots and shops. The value was unreal—cheaper than others but by far the best experience. I didn’t need to buy a single thing. Just arrived with my bags and food. If you’re considering this place—book it. You’ll love it!

Had a lovely stay here with my girlfriend! The place was clean, quiet, and just as described. Great communication throughout, and Ant even picked us up from the airport which was super kind. The pool and garden were perfect for relaxing, and the location was ideal, just a short walk to the bus stop and shopping centre. Would definitely recommend!
