Cottage holiday rentals in Buninyong

Nice little cottage in the bush. Freezing cold when we arrived (no surprise, it's winter), but the fire eventually warmed the whole house up.

The house is clean and peaceful, beautifully located by the lake. It’s especially delightful to take a stroll at sunset. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to visit again in the future.

A little oasis perfectly situated next to the Botanic Gardens! Heaps of space for a couple, plus a beautiful veranda out the back. The spa was a treat! Would stay again.

Lady Marmalade has quickly become a favourite for our annual girls trip. It’s cozy, close to the shops and a beautiful house. We look forward to our visit every year. James is a great host and very friendly and responsive.

My husband and I wanted a relaxing getaway for our anniversary, and Poet’s Lodge was absolutely perfect. The space is beautiful, complete with an indoor fireplace, and the location couldn’t have been better—within walking distance to Cliffy’s Emporium, The Hot Chocolate Company, and the charming Vincent St. We also loved having halal dining options at Taj Mahal Restaurant and the convenience of Coles nearby. Our only regret was staying just one night! We can’t wait to return. Thank you, Angeline & Richard, for creating such a thoughtfully curated retreat ❤️

Beautiful property and a brilliant location. What was a lovely surprise for me was the abundance of bird life every morning and evening. So beautiful! I’d definitely book this property again if going to Creswick.

I have never stayed in a house with so many amenities. We didn't want for anything, Serena has thought of everything making our few days in Trentham very comfortable and welcoming. The open fires, the stocked pantry, books, games, magazines and the small touches that made the stay special. I highly recommend this property for families and groups of friends. Serena was a pleasure to deal with; she was responsive and provided us with a late checkout. Thank you!

This is our second stay at Andy and Pauls place. It was just as awesome as our first stay. The place is clean, warm, comfortable and well thought out. We felt right at home within the beautiful surroundings of Daylesford.

We loved our getaway to Hepburn Springs! The house was cozy, we loved the wood fire, and the amenities were clean and nice! Everything was explained well and we had no issues with anything on our stay!

We had a delightful stay at Wombat Cottage! The accommodation was clean, warm, cosy, and welcoming, with all the extra touches needed for a super comfortable stay. A perfect balance of a lovely peaceful location in walking distance to Daylesford township. Our hosts Maddy and Rob were fantastic to deal with. Lovely house in a quiet area and close to Ballarat CBD. Very clean and well stocked with everything you need (including the kitchen). Great value for money. Julie-Ann was a great host, very responsive and helpful when we reached out with some questions. Would definitely recommend!

The Cottage was very well presented, spacious and had top quality bedding and bed furniture. The kitchen had an extensive range of crockery, cutlery and tools. It is an ideal location for the rail trail cycle path. We would stay again if we revisited the area.

We absolutely loved our stay at Minna and Peter's 'Le Shack' The location was just perfect, with birdlife and roos viewable from the deck and windows. Everything was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. There was a small air conditioner which we barely used (a couple of the days were quite hot) and leaving the windows open at night was enough. It felt secluded but so close to Daylesford and lots of amazing places to visit. We didn't want to leave. Thank you so much Minna and Peter.

Tranquillo was a beautiful cottage. Walking distance to the Main Street where it was bustling with cafes, restaurants, antiques, homewares etc. we took our bikes and rode most of the tourist places and walked up for dinner and breakfast every day. The cottage was clean, tidy, quiet and comfortable. We will definitely be back again. Thank you Rebecca for an amazing stay at your cottage.

Second time staying here, as beautiful as the first! Always spotless with a fully stocked kitchen that we made the most off for dinner and breakfast. The most comfortable spotlessly clean beds! Within walking distance to town and local markets made for a perfect, relaxing holiday. Ann was always available whenever I had any questions. She had the best recommendations which made our stay so easy. Will definitely be back soon.

Dayna’s place is fantastic for its location. 6mins driving to Daylesford’s main strip, and only a couple of minutes walking into the Hepburn bathhouse & spa (if you’re keen on a relaxing massage)! The spot was private & quiet while still being accessible. The house itself was spotless and the furniture was really clean. There may be other residents in the adjacent houses on your stay but we didn’t even hear them till we were checking out! Can’t ask for much more. Thanks Dayna for hosting us at your lovely home :)

A wonderful stay at a wonderful cottage! It was our first family getaway with our dog and it was perfect. Kim had thought of everything for our dog and the backyard was fenced and the perfect haven for a dog to spend time sniffing and enjoying the surrounds. The house was very clean and charming in a lovely private bush setting. Kim was fantastic with her communication and I highly recommend the cottage and Kim as the host.
