Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Burke County

This property was perfect for our family gathering. Lots of spaces to gather and the kitchen was well stocked. It was so nice to have the water toys and dock. We rented a pontoon from Patrick (a local person recommended in the property binder) who delivered it to the dock and then came back and picked it up. We enjoyed the fire pit and appreciated the wood that was available. Can’t wait to plan to stay here again next year!

Such a charming place! The layout of the house was great, and we loved being able to park in the back. The host thought of the little extras - throw blankets, shampoo/conditioner and body wash, and sound machines in the bedrooms! I was able to take long walks in the morning and felt completely safe in the neighborhood. I would definitely stay there again!

This property turned out to be a really good choice for our month-long stay. The peaceful neighborhood created an ideal environment for remote work, and I particularly enjoyed watching the birds visit the lovely trees in the front yard during my breaks. Serenity. The area offers some wonderful walking neighborhoods, even a bit challenging with the elevation changes, and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of restaurants and craft breweries within easy reach. Sidetracked Brewery's trivia night became a highlight of our weekly routine! And we loved the Friday night downtown concerts on the village green. One of the best aspects was the location - perfectly situated about an hour from Asheville, Boone, and Charlotte, which made weekend adventures both convenient and diverse. Overall, this comfortable accommodation met our expectations and provided a welcoming home base that enhanced our extended stay in the area.

I used this place for my employees. He was very nice and communicated with me very well. Would recommend this place for anyone looking for a clean and convenient place in the area

It was perfect for us. We wanted to be close to Wiseman’s View and this was a beautiful 30 minute drive there. Our kids loved it too. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed for a long weekend with out two Pugs and it was a very peaceful, beautiful place. The cabin was clean and welcoming. There were many condiments for cooking and an IGA about 10 minutes away. You probably want to bring food for the first night because the IGA is not going to be easy to find after dark. June was super nice and great communicataion. We would love to come back another time and stay longer. Our friends even want to go with us next time.

This was the best AirBnB experience I’ve had! The cabin is beautiful and well appointed; almost anything you might need was there. There were plenty of linens, cooking basics, dishes, and toiletries. The property is well maintained and gorgeous; it’s perfect for a peaceful getaway. The hosts were responsive and sweet before, during, and after. Could not recommend this stay enough!

Such a great house! We loved it. The place was extremely clean upon arrival. It was well stocked with everything we needed for the weekend and not at all cluttered. Great location. We hiked Grandfather mountain, Shortoff mountain, and Hawksbill. All great hikes and easy to get to. We also spent an afternoon kayaking on Lake James. It was very peaceful with large, calm coves. Great place to stay and I hope to be back.

I absolutely loved staying here in downtown Lenoir! We’ve been displaced now since September, and I will say this was the best place yet! We felt right at home, it was so cozy, and peaceful! I would 100% recommend staying here!

This needs to be your choice of stay in Morganton! Excellent. You won’t regret it! Beautiful and so convenient!

Blin's place was spotless, comfortable and the view was stunning - Fall leaves were in full color while we were there. The bathrooms were spacious and clean - the water was hot with good pressure. The king bed in the master was supportive and comfortable. I heard no complaints about the bunk room beds the kids used. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, bowls and cooking utensils. All appliances worked well. It was muddy while we were there so we rolled up the light colored rugs so we didn't accidentally stain them. We had our dog with us and there was plenty of area for him to run and the streets were quiet for a walk along the road. There are steps all the way to the water which will be amazing for lake access in the summer. As it was cold while we were there and the lake was still recovering from Hurrican Helene, we did not get in the water. All in all it was a great place to stay.

What a lovely Airbnb ! John was an excellent host! His wife made a Banana Nut loaf bread for our arrival. And it was delicious! John shared some fresh eggs from their chickens and my husband devoured them!! The unit is neat, modern and clean! There is everything one needs in the kitchen and bathroom from towels , linens , shampoo and soap . A great big living room TV to watch movies on and a bedroom TV . The leather couch and chairs are comfy. The bed was extremely comfortable and I am fussy as I have several chronic back issues . I was relieved and delighted!! Alot of thought and care goes into this downstairs basement apt . This location is convenient to several key cities and towns. It is roughly 75 miles from Ashville, Hickory is only a few miles. Blowing Rock , N.C. is about 30-35 miles . ( a must !! ) An excellent restaurant in town is owned by a family member and does not disappoint! Highlands Butchery . We would stay again when traveling or visting Valdese area.

I was in town for an extended stay with work and found this place to be very comfortable. It’s well kept and in a quiet location, but still close to downtown. The host was great and I’ll definitely stay here again.

This is a great place! It had everything we needed and has great views. There are plenty of places to relax inside and outside the house. It’s a quick drive to the boat ramp/marina and is a short drive to several restaurants. Loralie responds very quickly and is a great host. Definitely would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lakefront Serenity. The view was beautiful, house cozy, and loved the friendly cats! ❤️ We felt right at home and had everything we needed. The pedal boat was fun, too.
