Cottage holiday rentals in Burnham Overy Staithe

We had a wonderful stay here, felt right at home. Plenty of space for the 6 of us, comfortable sofas and beds, plenty of towels for the hot tub. The surrounding area was beautiful with a short walk to the lake. The hosts came back straight away with my many questions and we are getting a date sorted to book back in next year. One point to make is that there is pub down the road that although google said was open, it isn't at weekends. There is a great little cafe though on the lake that is a 5 minute walk away. Easy to get a food shopping order delivered and a really nice touch of a cake and bottle of wine as we were there celebrating Birthdays. Highly recommend this place. Thanks for having us.

This is a great weekend getaway. Should have stayed a bit longer to explore the place more. The Spa was lovely too.

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful little town full of things to do and see (and the beach is not far away). The cottage is really well-appointed and full of cool things. The hot-tub was also a complete luxury!

Russell cottage was a lovely place to relax in and a great base to explore the Norfolk coast. Worked well for our family with a nice outside space which was totally private. The hot tub was lovely and clean, great for relaxing in after a day on a windy Norfolk beach.

Pips Cottage was a lovely quaint place, based in a location that opened up lots of other opportunities to get out and about around Suffolk. Ringsfield itself is a sleepy place, with just a pub for leisure time. The cottage was perfect for what we wanted, quiet, but accessible enough to other areas. The cottage is lovely and cosy and had everything you needed for a few days away. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommend for a peaceful break. Watching the stars in the hot tub with an owl flying over was particularly magical.

We had a most enjoyable stay of 4 nights at The Cart Lodge. Very comfortable for us four adults and two dogs. We enjoyed heading out for part of the day, then returning to sit in the cosy private garden and a spell in the enticing hot tub. Little touches such as having toilet roll provided and bathroom products - soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion - was a thoughtful gesture. It was nice in the evening to chill on the comfy sofas with a bit of TV time, before retiring to our comfy beds. The cottage provided all we needed in a beautiful convenient setting for our short break away in Norfolk. Would thoroughly recommend to anybody looking to stay in this area.

Bird box Cottage was fabulous. Immaculately clean throughout, beautiful decor while maintaining the charm of the place. Everything had been carefully thought through, from the personalised welcome letter, welcoming treats and literally everything we needed to start our stay. Gorgeous quality linens and lovely big towels - not always a given but hugely appreciated! A beautiful tucked away location in the heart of this gorgeous town - this was partly a work trip and sadly too short but we will definitely return. Thank you Mel :)

Our stay was peaceful in tranquil surroundings. The cottage was well equipped with quality furnishings and beds very comfortable. One of our party was in the process of recovering from illness, and after a few days began to feel so much better and by the end of the stay had the best sleep since his diagnosis. Beautiful garden, patio and area. The White horse inn nearby was great for a pint and food if you didn’t want to cook. Central to many attractions in Norfolk.

An amazing place to stay, perfectly set up as a home away from home. Jack's cottage had everything we needed. It a very well thought out house, with all the comforts and utility of a home. imIdeal location, quaint village out side of a town and great pubs. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful cottage really well looks after and so well thought out we couldn’t have wanted for everything catered well for couples, families and dogs. Host was really great at giving clear instructions and even a gift voucher for a local shop, We visited Brancaster beach just 10 minutes away as well as Wells on Sea 20 minutes away. Would definately recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Fiona was a perfect host making herself readily available but at the same time recognising our space and privacy. Excellent to communicate with. The cottage is exactly as seen in the pictures and description. Nothing to fault. Main positives: the delightful patio area, how calm and peaceful it was. Spotlessly clean throughout and so many little thoughtful touches from a host who has clearly put time and effort into making your stay the best they can. We ate at both the Rose and Crown where food is excellent (tapas night) and the Queen Victoria which serves good honest pub grub and does it well. Would be very pleased to get the chance of a return visit.

Can’t rate Victoria or her cottage more highly. Friendly, clear and helpful communication about the cottage and lots of useful local recommendations. It’s a very short walk to the shops and restaurants of Burnham Market. Cottage has everything you could need for a home away from home. Lots of beautiful coffee table books to browse on the comfy sofa if you have a wet day and a v well equipped kitchen. The little touches - welcome card, wine, biscuits and welcome treats for our dog were the icing on the cake.

Quaint cottage on a quiet street. Excellent location as only a short walk to Burnham Green where all the restaurants and pubs are. The cottage was well equipped, clean and cosy. We really enjoyed our stay but, as expected in a characterful cottage of this age, you do need to be mindful of the stairs.

A lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the country. The cottage itself felt very homely and relaxing .Stunning beaches very close by. This is not an area we have visited before and it will certainly not be the last. If you love nature, walking and good food then this is a place to come.

This was a wonderful base to explore the area, and we have fallen in love with Blakeney itself. It was so peaceful, with walks from the doorstep. We were able to walk to several restaurants for our evening meal, which was a treat. Blakeney itself is full of little alcoves and alleyways, and is so charming. The accommodation was peaceful, clean and comfortable. You have everything you could possibly wish for in a wonderful location.

We had a lovely stay here, the house is absolutely beautiful, clean and very welcoming. All instructions to us were clearly listed and everything went smoothly. We couldn't recommend a stay at Roundhouse highly enough. Fiona was a great, friendly host allowing as much communication and privacy as wanted. Fiona has taken care to ensure the cottage is well equipped with everything you might want or need. The absolute joy is the location, right on the edge of the coast with easy access. But the garden with wonderful views and access to a medieval ruin was the highlight of our stay. We will be back. Thank you.
