The field with hiking opportunities, swimming area in the summer and ski slopes in the winter is not far away. Trains to Oslo run several times an hour and take about 40 minutes to Oslo Central Station.

Grønlid house, or "the house on the green hillock" as its meaning says, is located in the center of Rauland, near the main road, which makes it easy to find. Even though it is centrally located, it is also very silent. Nearest supermarket is about 5 minutes walk so you can let your car parked in front of the house for free and have yourself a nice short walk. And not only short, there are several beautiful hiking trails, which I will gladly recommend. Nearby is also a public sauna and pool for your evening relax.

The apartment is located in an annex next to the pottery workshop of Rigmor Husøy. The houses that are newly renovated are from 1750 and are centrally located in Old Town Kongsberg.
