The basement is a very comfortable, relaxing environment with everything you need provided. Nick is a great host and made us very welcome. It's a lovely peaceful location, with easy access into Manchester.

Lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Very warm and friendly welcome from the hosts, Suzanne and Ian who were there to meet me and explained how everything worked. Welcome pack a nice bonus and very much appreciated after a long drive. Flat was beautiful, light and airy but at the same time, homely and welcoming. Very peaceful location and felt very safe there, something very important to me as a female guest staying on my own. Great communication and the few queries I had during my stay were answered very quickly. Local shop within walking distance for anything you might need and a coffee shop which looked very inviting and a must try venue for next time. All-in-all, a wonderfully relaxing stay.

I’ve stayed at this property several times now as I needed to be back near my childhood home. Any issues are always sorted very promptly and it has been literally a home from home for me. Thank you so much. I’ve loved each time I’ve stayed at the Old Red King.

The flat is right in the middle of Marple town with good parking and a very safe feeling. The shops, restaurants and pubs are right on the doorstep. The king-size bed is very comfortable, the flat is very clean, a nice size for two people and it is dog friendly. There is lots to do in the surrounding area if you have a car, but as Marple also has a railway station it is not vital. Jane was very helpful all the way through the stay suggesting an excellent bakery / cafe directly across the street. We would highly recommend this place as somewhere to stay.

We loved staying at Emma’s in Holmfirth! Location was a ten min walk away from bars restaurants/ pubs / general high street. There were plenty of walks to do which were a 5-10 drive away. The flag was really well equipped with all essentials you’d need. & as a bonus we met the dogs who lived in the house opposite who were very friendly and cute. Would definitely return! Great place in a great location, everything was very comfortable and clean, there was a well-kitted out kitchen and comfy bed. Being on the first floor meant stunning views and you felt very safe. The kitchen and lounge were actually even better than in the photos, there was a nice comfy sofa in the lounge and the kitchen table was in a convenient place with dining chairs and a bench. Very good location down a quiet street but only a few mins walk from the pubs and shops. Thanks for hosting me!

Rosie’s place was **absolutely perfect** in every way! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and right at home. The space was **spotlessly clean**, beautifully decorated, and had everything we could possibly need – from fresh linens and towels to a fully equipped kitchen and super comfy beds. Rosie herself was an **exceptional host**: friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She gave us great local tips (like her favorite coffee shop downtown!), and was always quick to answer questions. The little touches – like coffee, snacks, and a handwritten welcome note – truly made us smile. The location was **ideal*– quiet, safe, and just a short drive to Peak District . We loved coming back to such a peaceful space after exploring Peak District. **Everything was exactly as described** (or better!) in the listing, and check-in/checkout was seamless. We couldn’t have asked for a smoother or more enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

It was our second stay at the cottage and it didn’t disappoint. Ideal location in the centre of Castleton close to pubs and restaurant and also for walks in the Peak District. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything you need. The welcome pack was lovely. Gemma gave clear instructions and good recommendations for our stay. Will definitely be back.

Callow Barn. What a beautiful place in beautiful surrounding. Loads to see and do. Great walks. Great pubs. And a fantastic lido, but advisable to book a couple of days before you go to avoid disappointment

Clean and tidy. We were 2 families with kids and was plenty enough space for all. Extra toiled at ground floor is definitely handy. There even was Xbox and PlayStation for evening FIFA sessions:). Modern design and equipment including some smart house features. Location wise was perfect for everything we had planned in Peak District. Overall great place and highly recommended. Thank You!

Our stay was great. The hot tub was lovely and the garden was beautiful. Penny also very kindly made us a cake which was delicious. Penny lives at the other side of the house and was there if we needed anything (even sun tan lotion). We booked this place for a chilled hen do and it was perfect. Would stay again. What a lovely cottage! The views were spectacular! My daughters and I took many pictures of the countryside and of the adorable sheep grazing nearby. The cottage was perfect for resting up and refreshing between our trips to the Chatsworth House and Gardens. We have just stayed here for our honeymoon, eckington is so beautiful!! it’s a great little lodge to stay in & the hot tub is an added bonus and great after long days of walking etc. it was a good hub for all the outside activities most places like chatsworth, Bakewell, hardwick hall, Matlock and so on were between 20-40mins drive away so perfect for the day trips out. There were some lovely pubs and a little Italian in the village & Aldi is literally around the corner to stock up the fridge! The lodge itself was very clean, and a well equipped kitchen for at home meals/lunch making for days out. The only addition I would say that a spare blanket would be lovely for when chilling on the sofa! Rebecca was wonderful and anything you needed she was more than happy to accommodate! Would 100% recommend for a doggie or non doggie holiday away 🦮🐶

Our stay was nothing more than amazing . We felt at home and had everything we needed ,Wendy and her husband was fantastic hosts , so friendly and helpful . We was visiting chartwell house and Wendy’s house was a perfect stay over I would 100% recommend staying here .

my stay was everything I needed, I stayed there 2 years ago and knew what to expect. Surroundings are so peaceful, loft has everything you need, walking distance to horse and jockey. Amanda always responds quickly if there are any issues.

Stayed here with 2 friends for a weekend hiking and photographing the Peak District. Lovely clean flat within easy walking access of the main bars and restaurants. The EV charger was also greatly appreciated. Would definitely return again.

Warren has been absolutely fantastic! Never come across a host like it on air bnb! So responsive gave amazing restaurant recommendations and was just great, I struggled where to park he quickly responded and gave clear directions, even left us a couple of beers in the fridge for us! Thank you so so much!! Room was as shown lovely little terrace and what an amazing place he made the flat! Easy place to get around to restaurant and bars and could book a taxi right outside to the rest of Manchester, parking over the road and completely clean and tidy! Thank you so much for letting us stay! Would highly recommend and what a fab host! Thank you for being so helpful and informative!

Lovely stay! Cute little apartment with everything you need. My daughter loved the bunk bed which was cool! Just 10 mins away from Buxton and kind of at the center of peak district. We met the owner's wife and had a nice chat with her, a very simple lovely lady. We would definitely stay there when we go to Peak District.

We had a lovely stay at Penny’s. The place was spotless and beautifully located with lots of greenery and wildlife nearby. Everything was easily accessible in the house and incredibly clean and tidy. Also in a great location with a lovely pub nearby and scenic walks only a short walk or drive away.

The house is within a lovely, peaceful place, where you can easily take buses to the Chatsworth house. The studio is super clean, almost spotless and very safe (I’m a female traveler who travels alone and totally feel safe here). Ms Deborah is very nice and she provided milk, cereal, energy bar to make you feel at home:) Definitely recommend!
