We are located at mile 144 on the Parks Highway within Denali State Park. Denali National Park entrance is about 100 miles north. Byers Lake is only 4 miles north with lots of hiking, fishing, kayaking and full of adventure. Some other popular hiking trails within Denali State Park include Kesugi Ridge, Byers Lake, Ermine Hill, Little Coal Creek, Lower and Upper Troublesome. See as much of Alaska as you can knowing at the end of a long full day you will have a comfortable place to come back to.

Nana's Cabin is located on a private pond 4 miles from downtown Talkeetna. This charming log home was built in 1991 by local builders for their mother (Nana). Perfect for all seasons, accommodations include a full kitchen and one bathroom. There is a 1/2 mile walking trail on the property. Host, Diane is also Studio Z Yoga's instructor. She offers weekly classes, private instruction, yoga therapy, and custom workshops. Prices and schedule are on her website. NO PETS - Please don't ask!

Enjoy and experience the unique style of our log cabin on the lake. Rustic decoration and log cabin features a sod roof and beautiful landscape filled Alaskan flowers. Your private bath is within 15 feet of the cabin next door . 9 miles drive to Downtown Town Talkeetna. Unique place to stay ! The Hobbit House was featured on HGTV Mighty Tiny Houses last January 01,2017. The hobbit cabin has been moved. She’s now just a few miles up the road in a much quieter location by the lake.

Quiet, 1 bedroom, 2 bath hand crafted log home. Full kitchen with everything needed to cook/bake.Pots/pans/dishes/utensils Camp fire/Wood stove/firewood included. Gas stove/Oven. Stereo,TV,DVD free wifi. Nice in tune Piano. We are musicians and encourage all to respectfully use the instruments we leave in the cabin. Happy to lend out all the toys we have -Skis,Snowshoes, Canoe,Kayak, Paddle boards and bikes. So much to do in the Talkeetna area for a real Alaskan experience

Our cabin is in a private wilderness setting on a beautiful stream. There is a wood-fired sauna for your use and it’s located a mere 50 yards from the cabin. In mid-July through mid-September salmon often swim by your deck. Our single room streamside cabin rests on the Southfork branch of Montana Creek, built from local spruce and birch. We do not have television or hot running water; our bathroom is a cozy outhouse.
