Nice hiking area right outside the door, short distance to the mountains around Førde.

5* doesnt do this place justice. An absolute gem, the best place we've stayed in our two weeks in Norway. The house itself is wonderful, nestled in the trees with views to Hornelen its very well equipped with everything you need and spotlessly clean. Siri, Asle and their family were wonderful hosts, Siri provided so many suggestions for things to do and tailored these to the weather and our young child. They werent intrusive but made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay, best airbnb hosts we've ever stayed with!

Rytne was wonderful! We were so excited when we walked in. The place was beautiful, amazing views out the front, lots of handmade antique objects, character in the construction, very clean, and attention to detail to make it comfortable and welcoming. Heated floor in bathroom, bathrobes, plenty of clean towels, etc. It was really a cool experience. We also got to talk to Mari and she was an excellent guide! She filled us in on the history of the place and explained the function of various objects and answered our questions about the area. It was a great value and I highly recommend it. We would like to go back someday and spend more time there.

We booked this wonderful cabin for the second time as we felt very comfortable for the first time. This house is just amazing, it's a lot homemade with love. You immediately realize that many hard-working hours have passed there and keep adding new ones. Most recently we were there in August 2024 and a lot has happened and changed again. In this wonderful house you can really relax and leave the stressful everyday life behind. Our dog was also able to really relax there. Unfortunately, for health reasons, we had to cancel our trip in Norway and Roy Egil and Maya responded very warmly and also offered us help. We really appreciate it. We were able to change the length of the stay in consultation without any problems. This has helped us a lot to plan our return trip. We would always come back to this wonderful and unique house. Thank you very much for everything!!!!!
