Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Byron Shire Council

We love staying at the Boathouse! Janene and Cameron are the most amazing hosts! As soon as we enter we feel relaxed! Ocean swims all day, beautiful beach, the most amazing sunsets! And the bed, aaah! Best sleep! The kitchen is well equipped for home cooked meals! While you feel like you have stepped completely out of the rat race, major stores are only a short drive away at Ocean Shores! 20 min drive approx to Bangalow and nearby Byron Bay. Brunswick Heads is only a 5 minute drive for some great restaurants, cafes, fishing! We’ve lost count of how many stays we’ve had at this special haven!

It was such a nice experience to stay at David and Sandra's place. The house has everything you need to make yourself at home. David was very attentive and responsive at all times. They look after the pool and facilities so that makes it very easy for you. We did not have to contact them for cleaning the pool. Before we notices it was already done before we had to ask. Place is well kept. It is close to a beautiful entrance to Tallow's beach. In spite of bad weather, we made the most out of our stay. You have everything close to you at walking distance if you do not want to go into town. Suffolk it is only 10 minutes drive from Byron Bay, so it makes things very easy. I believe it is a great location for a relaxed holiday with the family close enough to main attractions wihouth necessarilyn been in the heart of Byron. We would definitely recommend David and Sandra's beautiful home.

Belongil is without a doubt one of the very best locations in Byron and Scott and Mark are great hosts. From the property you can hear the waves and the birds, it’s so peaceful and comfortable. Walk into central Byron, along the beach, in less than ten minutes. Scott’s property is excellent value for money, super comfortable and clean, and is dog friendly with a secure yard. Perfect!

A perfect place to absorb nature close to Byron Bay. We loved everything about the home and the natural surroundings as well as how helpful our host was when we reached out. Without a doubt, 5 stars. Thanks again, Bruno!

This is all about the location! We were very tempted to never leave and instead spend the days overlooking the ocean and soaking up the winter sun from the backyard and deck.

Beautiful little place with a bathroom to die for! Nice and quiet area, close to Byron and walks. Will definitely stay again.

What an incredible privilege it was to have the chance to stay here. The hosts were extremely welcoming and reassuring, which made us feel really comfortable booking the place. The house itself is out of this world, with all the ammenities you could ask for (except ping pong, that would have been the cherry on top). When I say this is the ultimate getaway house, I seriously mean it. Would definitely come back again and recommend to anyone going up to Byron with a large group

We stayed at Paula’s place for the weekend and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Gorgeous apartment, great location, great amenities! Paula is a very thoughtful host, really easy to communicate with and even went out of her way to offer a later check out time when she didn’t have to. Loved this place!

Ellen and Keith are such an amazing, wonderful and helpful hosts❤️! They took very good care of us and really go beyond their means to help us. Our trip up there were a series of unfortunate events but our lovely hosts absolutely brighten up our trip! We are eternally grateful for their help during our stay with them. As for the cottage, it is very cozy and charming. It has everything we needed there from well-supplied kitchen to comfortable bed. In addition, the location was walkable distance to nice restaurants and supermarket. Fantastic place to chill and unwind! We highly recommend anyone who wants to visit Bangalow/intends to explore Byron Bay to stay with them!

Celia’s place was the perfect base for exploring Byron! Pictures don’t do it justice, the space is much bigger than expected!

We had a wonderful stay - very peaceful, great location. Easy to get into Bangalow, as well as a drive over to Byron Bay if you would like. Peter was very friendly and gave lovely recommendations. Would stay here again if we ever go to Bangalow again! :)

Carol & Grahame's Seahaven was very considered & generous it had everything you could possibly need for a getaway, you could easily stay for weeks. The heater was on for our arrival, we walked to the beach daily & headed back for the incredible sunsets, it was a few minutes drive to Byron's cafes & restaurants. Each morning we lounged on the deck even saw dolphins, Wategos is the perfect location.

Had a great stay here for June long weekend. Awesome location, no need for car & walked everywhere! Lovely warm spa, our heater wasn’t working & one was brought up within 5mins of letting her know. Recommend!

Was a great little apartment close to the beach and shops! We had a wonderful Easter break here! The host was very responsive and would absolutely recommend!

Kevin's place was excellent. Very clean and well equipped with everything you need. The place was well situated and very peaceful. Communication between Kevin and Andrew was great. Overall, the place was unique and refreshing to see how well the house was looked after. We were all very happy, and we would not hesitate to recommend to place to anyone wishing a few days stay. Spacious villa with beautiful views. Loved seeing the water birds, boats and the stars over the water at night. Very responsive hosts, good communication.

Great spot. We were over for a wedding so was nice to have the rest of the family staying at the Pottsville Motel across the road

Had the most fabulous stay here whilst I was in between rentals! Nikki was a great host and always on hand to answer any questions!

Lovely stay convenient to everything. Beautiful weather and was lovely to see so many whales out the front. We do love coming back to this stunning area. ☀️ 🐳

The apartment is better than the photos depict! The balcony surrounded by trees is a lovely place to hang out. Parking on street is so handy, walking distance into the bustle but quiet. Very nice, spacious apartment, comfortable and would definitely stay again.
