Clean and modern room, comfortable bed, bathroom is separate from the bedroom, but it is for exlusive use of the guest, so felt fairly private. The kitchen is shared and the host allows using refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, but no cooking, which was totally enough for me. There is a very cute and sweet-natured dog in the house. It is very quiet at night. Overall an excellent base to explore the region from, if you have a car. The hosts are the kindest, warmest and most welcoming people I met during my long trip in Spain. They dont speak English, but thanks to their infinite patience trying to understand my basic Spanish supplemented with Google translate, i was able to communicate and get lots of useful tips on what to do in the area and where to eat. At various times during my stay they treated me to a glass of wine, homemade soup, told me about their life and local culture, so in the end it felt like I am staying with family, not airbnb hosts.

The stay in Gil's apartment was, again, a wonderful experience (which is the reason why I decided to stay there on my return to Santander). The house has a beautiful interior decoration, the location is very central and within walking distance from the main bus routes. Also, the room was clean and Gil was of course very very kind and welcoming. I had everything I needed for my 3 day's stay, not to mention the chance to meet Gil who was very helpful and friendly. Thank you and see you next time!
