Really very good, no complaints about this very nice and well-located studio. I'll be happy to come back sometime. Friendly suggestions: - warn that access to apartment number 2 is not the easiest; very steep and narrow staircase. it is better not to have heavy and bulky luggage. - A simple sign in the apartment reminding you not to park near the halls on Friday night because of the Saturday morning market...would have saved me from paying 150 euros to the pound and losing 4.5 hours to leave. It's true that there are signs, but you still have to see them.

Very good welcome from Anne-Marie who anticipated and guided our arrival. Communication is easy and responsive. The apartment is perfectly renovated and very good location in the historic heart of the city. A stone's throw from restaurants and shops. The market and the halls are all close. Ideal for discovering this charming medieval town and its gardens. But also for the start of hikes, and thus to take the high ground at the Croix de Magne and Mont Saint-Cyr.

Our stay was a lovely dream. The outdoor kitchen and pretty garden with bath was a place you might envisage in a fantasy. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and chocolates. Although the weather was unusually hot we were nice and cool within the traditional thick stone walls of the house. It was wonderful to sit in the garden and watch the canoes floating round the bend of the the winding Dordogne river. We are very grateful for the experience. Thank you Steve and Eve. From the welcome to the goodbye, everything was perfect ! The tranquil surroundings were ideal to kick back and unwind. We were made to feel at home straightaway and nothing was too much trouble for Cornelius and Nicky, our hosts. Perfectly situated within walking or driving distance of Puy L’évêque a medieval town filled with wonderful streets to explore and restaurants to eat in, the apartment runs along side the River Lot which provides a perfect sound track to relax to. Add in the accompanying frogs and crickets and you have a feast for both the ears and eyes ! There was a kayak for our use on site and lots of different areas around the property in which to sit and watch the world go by. The apartment itself is well equipped - a perfect size for two and we could not recommend it highly enough.

Beautiful and nicely decorated inside. Great location to get around Cahors on foot Beware if you have mobility issues and/or carrying big, heavy luggage as the staircase is very old and narrow - seems to be an original wooden spiral staircase with limited lighting. There is no lift The apartment is on a v narrow medieval street so difficult to unload right outside if you have a regular size car

Noelie is very nice and available. Despite being under our host's permanent home, we felt at home. The family pool and terrace were all ours, a real pleasure. And the services offered bedding, bath, kitchen utensils were of high quality. Thank you very much to Noelie for this very pleasant interlude.

This place was perfect. The great room, the furnishings where everything was really thought of, the cleanliness, the terrace with the fantastic view of the Lot valley, the large swimming pool for cooling off with loungers for relaxing, the wonderful tranquility and last but not least the helpful and friendly hosts. If there were 10 stars to give, I would have given them.

Fabulous accommodation in the very heart of Sarlat, just steps from the Cathedral and central square. Accommodation was very comfortable, kitchen well equipped, with free parking easy to access. Via a short walk. We stayed at Frederic’s place for a week. The central location allowed us to travel easily to many of the highlights in the area returning in the evening to this delightful apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our experience and would highly recommend choosing this Air B if visiting the Dordogne region.

Very cute Airbnb! Such a charming place with everything you need. The bed was super comfortable and it was so quiet at night, even on Friday and Saturday with the bedroom window open. It was very hot when we stayed there but there is a fan in the bedroom and the windows helped cool the place down at night. Perfect location and such a beautiful place to stay!

The location is unbeatable. The large front window looks across to the Cathedral with nightly light show, and down upon the main square and the twice-weekly market. The hosts, Bruno and Caroline, were friendly and immediately responsive to questions, but otherwise discreet and respectful of my privacy. The property itself is beautiful, with the vaulted stone and brick typical of the ancient city. The stairs mentioned by others are quirky and charming, but I had no problem navigating them. All of the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The main room has a large lounge/couch which pulls out into a bed, a large dining table, and a kitchenette which includes everything needed for coffee, tea, wine, but also some basic cooking. The bedroom has a queen bed, closet, and chest of drawers, with a newer mattress that is firm and comfortable. The bathroom is huge, with a large soaking tub and shower combination (great water pressure), as well as a washing machine. Highly recommend .

Excellent stay in Camille's place, ideally located, close to shops and restaurants, easy to park, and very very quiet! Very nice place, there were 6 of us, family weekend, everyone loved it, it felt like home. Nothing was missing! Thank you Camille for your kindness and availability!

A fantastic location right near the cathedral with tons of character. Great instructions and support accessing the place given its location. Note that the parking is a little challenging and would not be a place for someone with mobility issues. We loved it though!

We spent 10 magical days at Tyler’s charming apartment located just above the church in the old city. It is an ideal location for exploring all the wonders of the Dordogne, as we headed out each day in a different direction. The spacious apartment is absolutely charming - wonderfully decorated with interesting antiques. We loved hearing the chiming of the church bells out the windows, enjoyed the local bistros, daily purchased croissant from the corner boulangerie and even had free parking a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Laura downstairs was very responsive when we had concerns, although we had very few as the apartment was spotless, had all the amenities we needed, and we were just steps away from the rest of Sarlat.

Our stay at Florence's was perfect. The accommodation is large, the bedding comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped. Everything was perfectly clean, the pool was very well maintained and always clean, as well as the jacuzzi. With the heatwave during our stay, we greatly appreciated the pool and the accommodation keeps the coolness very well! The surrounding garden is very pleasant for resting, having an aperitif... Lots of tourist sites to visit around. Florence gave us plenty of tips on the surroundings (restaurants, markets...) Very friendly welcome, very nice and warm host. We recommend it!

The accommodation matches the photos, modern, thoughtful, quality services, calm and cleanliness . It's hard to find anything that might be missing or we don't like it. Christel has thought of everything and remains very responsive when needed. Pros: small snack upon arrival, free parking and a professional host. You are right in the historic center, the Saturday morning market is beautiful, you can do everything on foot. I would recommend it in a second. Thank you Christel. A big thank you to both our hosts, who gave us a very warm welcome. We had a delightful weeks stay, enjoying relaxing on the patio and having easy access to the beautiful town of Sarlat. The apartment was 10 min walk straight down the hill into the heart of this enchanting medieval town (the hill is very steep if you have accessibility issues). Studio corresponding in all respects to the photos. Very well decorated, which makes it cozy. Quiet and peaceful place, little extra for the terrace and the jacuzzi.

A little piece of heaven in nature. Extremely quiet, you can only hear the frogs in the evening. The accommodation is clean, spacious and well-equipped. The garden is beautiful. The house is well located for visiting the small villages and towns nearby. Jean Louis is extremely kind and available to show us all the sites and walks of this beautiful region. A truly magical stay.

We had a wonderful stay — everything was just perfect. The hosts are a truly lovely couple who have clearly put so much care into every detail. From the beautifully pressed flowers framed on the walls, beautiful linens and crockery to the thoughtful finishing touches, everything felt lovingly done. The space was spotless, comfortable, and private, with everything we needed (and more!). It's ideally located for exploring the region, yet feels peaceful and secluded. We've already recommended it to friends and wouldn’t hesitate to return ourselves. Thank you both for such a memorable and special stay!
