Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Cairns Regional

This home is a charming home nearly 100 years old. It has been redone and is clean and comfortable. We came in winter and still needed the AC for a short time each day. All of the beds were comfortable and the showers had enough pressure and hot water. The only downside was the noise from outside since the older windows really aren't sealed. We weren't too bothered by it, but some people might want to be aware. There is designated parking under the house. The highlight for my kids was the wild guinea pigs in the backyard that made an appearance several times a day. Laundry was a plus too! We walked to Cairns Central one day when others took the car, about 20 minutes. Many things are 5-10 minutes by car. We'd definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Yungaburra. The house was just right for us, private, cozy, and felt very homely. It was a peaceful spot to unwind and take things slow. The hosts were lovely. Easy to contact and really helpful. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. It just made for a really easy, relaxed stay.

Had a wonderful stay at Carmen’s residence in Cairns in early June. The residence is located about 25 minutes the airport by car as well as the center of town and the marina where you can catch boats for excursions. So, you’ll need to drive or rent a taxi/Uber. The house is located Inside a gated community estate and there’s a code that you’ll need to give any arriving taxis. The treehouse itself was absolutely gorgeous, with three floors, multiple rooms, a pool, and surrounded by lush greenery. It felt like we were in a forest! If you’re adventurous, you can even take a private path to the beach and nearby cafes—but be warned, it can be treacherous! Overall, this was a great find. And our hosts were proactive with messages and suggestions that were quite helpful. The only regret we have is that we didn’t get to spend MORE time here!

Overall the place was great. It's a beautiful walk along the esplanade next to the ocean into the middle of town. Only about 2km. The bathrooms and kitchen are fully updated but the house feels and looks like a 100 year old queenslander, beautiful A couple of minor issues that could bother some people, the airport is nearby and there is some noise, airplanes stop taking off around 22:00 and start again at 6:00. Some of the ceiling fans seem to have bearing problems and make some noise. Overall this house fully deserves a 5 star rating!

Had a wonderful stay in Kristina’s home. Everything you could want for a holiday in Cairns with the family. Very clean,quiet surroundings, comfortable beds, good shower pressure, and lots of things supplied in the kitchen with a big fridge.The stand out for my family was the HEATED POOL and outside area, we spent most days in the pool and sitting outside in the undercover area. It’s close enough to Cairns, Trinity beach and Palm Cove but in a quiet neighbourhood. Highly recommend this lovely house thanks Kristina for a wonderful stay.

Great place for our family. Lots of spaces for everyone to spread out and not feel over crowded. A very clean and tidy home with lots of character. Beautiful walks through the Botanical gardens nearby and only a short drive into the city. Would definitely choose to stay here again.

The house located in beautiful place. Very quiet neighbourhood lots to explore and so many different plants behind the house with mountain view. I will recommend to everyone to stay at least once. Thank Evelyn and Rodney couples for your help to extend one day extra when we needed☺️. I will definitely comeback again. SPREAD LOVE☺️

Beautiful home and in a gorgeous area!! If your about that town life you might be best to look at a location closer to the city as we had troubles getting Ubers as they didn’t wanna drive that far out. Other than that the home is absolutely stunning and just around the corner is the crystal cascades which is definitely something to see !!!

Beautiful place, elevated decorations, super comfortable - beds, sectional couch. Great place to relax - enough space for family of four with two teenage boys, wonderful outdoor daybed with view of rainforest where I read and had morning tea. Convenient with washer/dryer and fully functional kitchen. Great location - easy 10min drive to central cairns for restaurants, coffee, Great Barrier Reef tour; botanical gardens is the backyard - lots of walking trails from there, even saw a pademelon. Super responsive hosts - personal welcome,had tennis racquets and balls available, great reco’s for what we needed - taxi etc. Highly recommend without hesitation!

Dave was an amazing host and his place was perfect for our young family. muddy's playground was a short walk and the kids loved it. Would happily stay here again. thanks Dave.

Moti’s place was great and perfect for what we needed. Great amount of space and very clean. Moti was so very helpful in getting everything set up us.. including the portable cot! The amenities were perfect for our 18month old. Would definitely stay again

Kay was very helpful - she picked us up from the airport and took time to show us around the apartment. The apartment was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location is excellent, handy for everything you need. There is a tour desk downstairs where you can book your activities. Overall, highly recommended.

Andrew’s place was the perfect place for us to compete at the great barrier reefs masters games. Close to everything and easy to get around. Beds were very comfortable and the sheets were luxuriant. Hot water showers were a blessing.

The Shira’s accommodation was amazing!!!! We came here from Melbourne for holidays and we had a great time in the city. The location was perfect 😍. We highly recommend it 🫶🏾🫶🏾

A sprawling home with great views. Kitchen was fabulous. The bedrooms and bathrooms were top notch. The patio area had comfortable seating. Even though the place is a part of a small group of apartments, it felt totally private. Covered car park was a bonus. Hosts are super responsive and helpful. One reaches the place through two flights of narrow stairs. It may be difficult to carry large luggage or if you have mobility issues. Otherwise this is a dream vacation home

I had a wonderful stay at Andrea’s apartment at 201 Lake Street, Cairns. The place was clean, well-furnished, and very comfortable—perfect for a relaxing visit. It had everything I needed for a great stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, a comfortable bed, and a modern bathroom. The building also had a pool and secure parking, which were great bonuses. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Esplanade, restaurants, shops, and the marina. Andrea was very easy to deal with—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the booking and stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cairns.

Andrew’s apartment is amazing, and a great find. It is furnished modern and extremely clean, and has lots thoughtful extras in the kitchen and bathrooms. Any communications we had with Andrew were responded by him promptly. The location is quiet, yet very close to amenities. We would highly recommend this property, and certainly will look to rebook when we are back in Cairns.
