We loved our Thanksgiving stay at Christopher’s place. Christopher is a great host—very kind and communicative. The cottage is beautifully situated right on the lake in a peaceful and picturesque area, surrounded by stunning nature. You can take in the breathtaking views from the inside through the large windows, the deck, the surrounding grounds, the dock, or the nearby trails. The lakeside location was a calming and relaxing bonus for us. The cottage is bright, well-appointed, and equipped with everything you need to feel comfortable and entertained, including board games, books about the area, a fireplace, TV, internet, and, most importantly, access to beautiful nature trails and plenty of water equipment for exploring the lake. We absolutely fell in love with it and would love to return!

This place is a true find! We went there with 10 women looking for a weekend of laughter and relaxation and we got exactly what we wanted. The fire pit, hot tub, sauna, and decks were beautiful and comfortable, even in November. The interior easily slept 10 of us. The kitchen was fully stocked with what we needed to prepare great food. The living area was big and suitable for a large group. Our favourite place was the big table where we sat and talked, played games, had a few drinks, and laughed. The place was as we expected it to be and we had no issues. We definitely would come back again!

Perfect Spot for a Girls’ Getaway! Four of us girlfriends stayed here for a weekend and had the most wonderful time! The space was bright, spacious, and beautifully decorated—exactly like the photos. We loved hanging out in the cozy living area, sipping coffee on the balcony with lake views, and having our own comfortable rooms to unwind. The location was ideal—peaceful, yet close cute local cafes and shops in the neighborhood. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and felt super safe and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend for a girls’ trip or a relaxing escape from Toronto!

Gopinath has a beautiful home on the Ottawa River, just on the outskirts of home. Home is Beautiful with plenty of space for everyone. Will definitely keep this on the radar for future visits to town.

We had a great stay! Played a lot of ping pong and spent time in the hot tub. It was a nice relaxing weekend away in a beautiful location

I would come back here with friends and family for a getaway or special celebration any day! They know what you want to have fun and relax, and the set up makes it easy to slip right into vaycay mode - with a view to boot! But that sandy walk out to the river with the bright view from inside - beautiful. Thank you!

Superbe séjour dans ce magnifique chalet enchanteur. La vue sur la rivière ainsi que la plage sont incroyable! Beaucoup de commodités pour les familles avec de jeunes et moins jeunes enfants. Nathalie et Marc sont des hôtes en Or ! Excellente communication, beaucoup de petites attentions de leurs part pour améliorer notre merveilleux séjours en famille. Nous y retournerons pour sûr! Had an absolutely wonderful day during my Father's Day weekend...I would recommend this place to anyone and I will be coming back time and time again

We had a beautiful stay at Nature’s nook! The home was large enough to accommodate our big group with plenty of space for everyone to relax, eat, and enjoy. All the rooms were extremely clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a stress-free stay. The house was stocked with many games and activities for us! The lake was beautiful and we loved using all the outdoor activities that the hosts left. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!

Parker’s place in Sharbot Lake is a lovely spot. Very central to anything in or around Sharbot Lake. Lots of stuff to entertain your group right on site. We booked for a milestone birthday for family that lives in the area. Based on how much we enjoyed our stay we discussed booking again , bonus being so close to family in the area. Win win!

We had a great time at this cottage. Very private with all the amenities you could ask for. It’s a 10 outta 10! I think the only thing that we would suggest is having a picnic table in the yard which would take it from a 10 to 11! Thanks again to our wonderful hosts. This is truly an amazing location.

Really lovely place on the lake. Lots of seating and communication with Alan was very easy. Had a really great time and will definitely be hoping to come back again!

If anyone is looking for the perfect getaway spot with family and friends, this lovely river retreat has it all!! Gorgeous property, loads of space for guests to gather together or all have their own little small magical experiences. This home has everything that could be asked for. Location was easy to find and access, yet felt fully private and removed from the rest of the world. This place is set up for entertaining and relaxing, I was impressed from the moment we opened the door. The house is spacious, airy, and incredibly comfortable. Everyone felt right at home. The kitchen was fully stocked, whatever you can think of was there, and the bedding and furniture were so fresh and comfortable. Extras everywhere! Our hostess Julie was amazing to communicate with. From our very detailed access instructions, to responding quickly to any questions, she made this weekend a phenomenal one. Julie has created a riverside oasis for any group big or small, and we would happily come back!

This is a great place to stay with young kids. Lots of activities to keep them busy and they had a blast jumping off the dock and using the paddle boards and kayaks. Also appreciated being able to warm up in the hot tub. The kitchen was clean and organized and perfect for making meals. The beds were comfy and clean. Overall would recommend and would stay again!

We were a group of 14 that stayed here on a golf trip. The location is about half an hour from 2 different courses and has ample parking, beds and large common area. Was a fun place to stay and very comfortable.

This is truly a hidden gem. The cottage is located in the wood with a beautiful view on the lake. It was so peaceful. We had a wonderful stay with our family and friends. The house was perfect. It has everything you need to cook. We would love to come back.

Beautiful cottage and area! lovely open concept and had everything anyone would need. The kids enjoyed running around in the yard and the paddle boat and kayaks were a big hit. The stunning sunset views were my favorite!

Stephen’s place was so beautiful, and had everything we needed. It was the perfect cozy getaway to help with the mid winter blues. Check-in and check-out times were very generous, and the hosts were so kind! We felt at home as soon as we stepped inside.

Very peaceful amongst the trees with peekaboo view of water through the trees. Cabin is comfortable with wood fireplace as well as heat pump heating. Autumn view from calabogie chair lift 20 min away very beautiful!

Inside was very nice brought back the 1980s look, mattress on the made up box spring was comfortable just hard to get out of, I’m 31 in a 110 year old body haha but it was very nice

Myself and 3 friends just had a fabulous weekend stay at Alex’s beautiful place! The furnishings are beautiful, beds are super comfy and the home is well stocked with supplies! The view is also gorgeous! Alex was wonderful to deal with and quickly responded to any questions we had! We absolutely loved our stay and are already planning to return this summer! Thank you Alex!
