Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Calais

Great stay, everything was impeccable, clean, easy to access. Very quick response, very good explanation. A little more for the bedding and the size of the bed as well as the ambient light in the bathroom. We'll be back very soon! 😊

A super nice little cottage equipped with everything you need. Coffee, tea, cappuccino, sugar, even a sandwich maker is available. Decorated with love. On the terrace, table, chairs, loungers are just perfect. And the bed is super comfortable, there is nothing to complain about. I would love to recommend it. And we walked about 5 km to Carlais

It was as if we were arriving at a small oasis in the middle of our agitated world. The house was even more beautiful than described and we were struck by the cleanliness of the place. In principle, it is not even necessary to leave the estate, as everything is planned to keep you entertained. The neighborhood and Ardre around the lake were also very idyllic to visit (everything is within walking distance). Véronique is a fantastic host, involved in your vacation weeks ahead. She had decorated the house with birthday garlands for our 60s, and prepared a fresh quiche as well as cookies. In short, I would recommend this place to anyone.

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely holiday home in St. Margaret’s at Cliffe. The place was spotless upon arrival and immediately felt warm and welcoming. The view was absolutely stunning — waking up to such a breathtaking panorama each morning was a real treat. The kitchen was very well-equipped with everything I needed to cook comfortably, and the cozy living room was the perfect spot to relax in the evenings. Overall, a fantastic stay — I would definitely love to come back!

Absolutely beautiful accommodation, everything was clean and felt homely. The host was great, very responsive and helpful, provided very clear instructions before hand for everything you would need, and the booklet had lots of great local recommendations too. A cot was also provided as requested. Location was great for us using the tunnel the next morning, however if we had known how beautiful the surroundings were, we would have booked more time there! 100% would stay again, and would recommend to everyone. Thank you for a great stay.

Very responsive and helpful host. The views from the building were lovely and everything is within walking distance, with a lovely patisserie just across the road. The apartment was well decorated and very clean , with all the amenities needed for our stay.

Good stay. The apartment is very good. Right next to Richelieu Park for a game of petanque! there is everything you need to cook. The instructions are well framed. I recommend it. Hervé

We had a wonderful time at Anais' place. The apartment was easy to find with a parking space right outside the door. The apartment was very clean. The beds were comfortable and the couch was also great. The bathroom and kitchen were superbly equipped. Right outside the front door is the beach with a wonderful playground for children. Highly recommended as a host. All questions were clarified in advance. Free public parking directly in front of the house. 10 min walk bus to the beach or to historic buildings in the city (town hall, Nortre Damme de Calais). Right at the ferry port. So we also took the opportunity to drive over to England. Otherwise, everything is fine!

I was back in Calais, this time for work, and stayed at Bastien's place again because it is perfect - great location for the city centre, ferry terminal, and beach, and the apartment is cosy, beautifully decorated and furnished, and has everything you need!

Nice apartment with everything you need—very complete. Within walking distance of Nausicáa (which was the reason for our stay), so perfect for a short visit. Inside, the apartment is cosy, with new and flawless equipment and interior. Yes, it’s four flights of stairs, but the view makes it worth it. We left our roof box on the car and had no issues, so the neighborhood felt safe as well ;-)

Perfect for a little getaway 2-3h away from Paris by car! We stayed over a long weekend and had the best time. Christine’s place was in perfect distance from beach or bars/ restaurants while being calm and private! Amazing!

Sue was terrific. She could not have been more accommodating when our party of 3 became 4 (to include a young grandson) and she provided us with cereals and goodies for him and a bed guard rail. Her lovely apartment is beautiful, light, airy and comfortably furnished with excellent quality appliances and fixtures/fittings. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. We had a great stay (3 days/2 nights) in Wimereux! The accommodation is perfectly located with a magnificent sea view, a real pleasure from the moment you wake up! Everything is as described, clean, cozy and well furnished. The place is quiet, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the Opal Coast. We felt very comfortable! The view was fantastic and it was relatively quiet in the house and also on the beach. We will be enjoying the few days of time out for a long time and are also thinking about coming back again :)

We spent a week in Fabienne's apartment. From the first written communication before departure, to the personal acquaintance and their tips about Calais, nothing was missing. We were happy to be your guests, we felt very comfortable. Especially the view from the balcony to the beach and the sea was phenomenal at any time of day or night (sunsets included)! There is also a lot to discover all around. Conclusion: Calais is definitely worth another trip. Thank you for everything Fabienne!

Alexis' accommodation is wonderful - it is very manageable, but everything that is needed is available and equipped with great details! And the view is really beautiful!☀️😍 Alexis was always available to us. We felt very, very comfortable and can only recommend the accommodation!
