What a wonderful place to stay and for us perfect location to explore beautiful Madeira. 6 of us stayed for 1 week, the accommodation was perfect with various areas to spread out. We spent most of our evenings around the pool side, playing games and soaking up the views. The home has everything a family would need to enjoy your stay. Local shops, cafes and restaurants 10min walk up hill. Fully recommend if you are able to take a 1 day jeep tour of the island as Madeira has some spectacular scenery, valleys, mountains, villages and locations to explore. Contact with the host was effortless and always quick with responding. We loved our stay.

Everything was perfect! The host was super friendly. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, the place was clean and exactly as described. When we had a small issue, the host responded quickly and solved it right away. Check-out was just as easy. Would definitely stay again!

This place is awesome! Elvio is the best host. Clear instructions and directions (it’s a tricky place to find) but his instructions were perfect. The pool is private and a good home base after lots of hiking. We recommend hiking as early as possible and going back to enjoy the pool later. The restaurant up the mountain from the house is amazing (Calheta Green). And a recommendation from the host. Love this place!

Such an amazing space! Our family highly enjoyed our stay. The home is more beautiful than the pictures. The pool was lovely and the location was great for hiking as well as trips to Funchal. We would love to come back again!

The space was beautiful. We loved the decor and the large doors that brought brightness with a view of the beautiful courtyard with the pool. We were very well received by a very good host. What a nice touch! Susana also gave us several restaurant recommendations and the communication was excellent. It took 8 minutes to get to the city center. We found all the essentials to cook well. The accommodation was clean, but I can't ignore the shower. There was mold and personally, despite the scent that had been added, I found the smell of dampness and mold unpleasant. Everything else was impeccable!

Villa Panorama is an amazing place to relax and to visit Madeira. The photos reflect well, is very comfortable place, views to the ocean are stunning, and equiped with everything you need. For a family of five, as we are, it was perfect experience. Location, while a little far from Funchal, is well connected and great to visit the multiple amazing locations of the island. There are groceries close by, even in Sunday we could find open places at 6 min from the Villa. Especially great are the hosts. Rui and João Carlos are extremely responsive and friendly, and they make everything easy and well organised. We would definitively come back again and we highly recommend Villa Panorama without doubt.

We loved our two weeks at this location. Superb views over the ocean and the surroundings. All we needed in the house was present and clean. Very peaceful neighbourhood (although we were a little unlucky to have roadworks ongoing). Amazing private pool (with an extra bathroom)! Carolina was super friendly and always available for questions. Would love to stay here again in the future. Highly recommended!!

This place is beautiful and peaceful. It is about an hour drive from Funchal, but there are lots of little towns all along the way. We had a wonderful stay.

We had a great time in the Airbnb. The view of the sea is great. The kitchen is very well equipped. Only the range of the WLAN could be improved, as it does not reach the upper floor.

Very well decorated accommodation corresponding to the photos. The hosts are extremely responsive and caring. If you have a comment, you can be sure that they will do their best to resolve it. Small downside on the kennel which is certainly on the other side of the valley because the dogs bark. But this remains occasional, about 3-4 times a day for 10 minutes, it is not continuous (at feeding time?). There are also a lot of bugs that come every day (centipedes and we had a few cockroaches). The apartment was however very clean when we arrived. I think they get in because there is a gap between the doors and the floor. A seal might help. But it's easy to put outside with a squeegee and it's the countryside, so it's understandable. Apart from these minor issues, we loved our accommodation and recommend it, hence the 5 stars!

The apartment was clean and upscale. The surroundings are peaceful, even if other apartments have residents. The yard and garden are beautiful with details. The retreat-like quiet vibe and views of the atlantic were charming. The owners are friendly and helpful.

This place is very nice! It has a beautiful view, on a quiet street with a lots of privacy. Inside was bigger than we expected and very cosy. It has everything you need and we really felt at home and relaxed. There is a steep but short walk directly to the center, with some good restaurants and a grocery store. Zeza is very responsive, enthusiastic and friendly. If we go back to Madeira, we will come back!

We were very warmly welcomed by Noèlia. There were small surprises like fruit, pastries and a bottle of wine in the accommodation. The cleanliness, the location and also the view were great! We felt very comfortable. Madeira is worth a visit! We had an excellent, unforgettable and relaxing holiday all around!!

Beautiful apartment, very well equipped. The kitchen has sufficient dishes in good condition, a coffee machine with capsules available and spices for cooking. Household and toilet linen are also provided. There's also a washing machine. A reserved parking space is highly appreciated. Claudia Luisa has small attentions like dropping off strawberries from the garden. She is very responsive to messages and her explanations are clear, including in the accommodation. And finally, this magnificent view from the living room and the small terrace where we watched part of the Funchal fireworks. Ideal location for visiting the island. Câmara de Lobos is pleasant in the evening for eating on a terrace and listening to music.

If you’re looking for a quiet coastal cottage in Madeira this place is perfect. The view is beautiful with restaurants right around the corner. You’re steps away from the beach and beautiful hiking trails. The house is small but well kept and was very comfortable for two guests

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful, modern Airbnb! The apartment is brand new and stylishly furnished, with everything you could possibly need—especially the fully equipped kitchen, which was a dream to cook in. The highlight was definitely the private whirlpool—perfect for relaxing after a long hiking day. We were warmly welcomed by the property manager, Charlene, who allowed us an early check-in and made sure we felt right at home. Both Charlene and the host, Jose, were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The place is also extremely baby-friendly, with a lovely play corner and even a few thoughtful gifts for our 7-month-old baby. We truly appreciated the sweet welcome gifts for us as well.

To start with, I never put 10 because perfection does not exist but I regret that we can't give a rating of 9.9!!! The house is super welcoming and perfectly equipped. There was even salt and pepper, oil and vinegar which we can't find much now, plus two “welcome presents,” which becomes extremely rare. We stayed in the northernmost room: PERFECT bedding! (Which, too, becomes very rare). In addition, the location is ideal for visiting Madeira and the sunsets in early May (Good, only 5 out of ten evenings because of the curious weather) were beautiful! The layout (bedroom + dressing room + bathroom) is also perfectly thought out. The “winter lounge” which allows you to have breakfast and dinner overlooking the sea and warm is also a plus. Perfect contact and responsiveness of the host, even at 6 am (storm and power outage)!!!. In short, an excellent stay

A real little corner of paradise in Calheta! The accommodation is perfectly equipped, very clean and comfortable, with everything you need to have a great stay. The big plus: a breathtaking view of the sea from the terrace, ideal for enjoying the sunsets or simply relaxing. The host was lovely: available, welcoming and very accommodating. He even came to pick us up to accompany us to the accommodation, which greatly facilitated our arrival. A place that we highly recommend for a peaceful and exotic stay in Madeira!

Great place, we had everything we needed for a few days stay!

The apartment is peaceful and beautifully situated. The apartment is large and nice, with lots of space inside and outside. Private parking is a plus. The apartment is very well equipped, with good beds and comfortable bed linen and plenty of towels. Very good instructions on the use of the apartment and how to operate the TV. Very well equipped kitchen The apartment is very nicely located, with good views and very nice outdoor area. The apartment is very deserted so car rental is a must. It has a great bathroom and a small but nice toilet as well. We were only 2 guests, but it is fine to stay 4 people here. Even though it's deserted, it's fine to find your way with GPS. Overall a VERY nice apartment if you appreciate staying outside the city's noise and noise, and rather prefer nature, views, tranquility and staying a place that is more real Madeira.

Overall we had a great stay (8 nights) at Sofia's apartment. We loved the ocean view and the remote aspect, although the street that leads to it gets very busy (even more than we thought) during the day due to the nearby Anjos waterfall which, on occasion, can make parking a bit difficult (the apartment doesn't come with a parking sport so, as others mentioned, you need to park on the street). The check-in went smooth as the directions Sofia provided us were clear and easy to follow. Inside, the apartment is spacious, the 2 bathrooms were a big plus for us, and it had all the amenities we needed. The bed is very comfortable, though we switched the pillows and used the small pillows from downstairs as the main ones were a bit too big/stiff for us, after this change we slept great every night. The surroundings are silent, the only thing you hear are the ocean and the water running to the next-door banana plantation. We had a great time, Sofia was very kind, and we recommend this house!
