Holiday rentals with a kayak in Calhoun County

Scott was an excellent communicator, the cottage was extremely well equipped. Plenty of space, tons of entertainment options, spacious, clean, and comfortable. I only wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy the lake and activities. I would definitely recommend Scott’s place.

Despite the short notice, our stay at this place was truly exceptional. The space was not only welcoming but also incredibly spacious, providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience throughout our visit. Every detail contributed to a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it a stay to remember. I would highly recommend this place to others and would gladly return in the future.

We stay in many, many airbnbs and we both love this one. It is very private and very peaceful. We were there 4 nights and we were sad to leave. The KS bed was super comfy.The view is awesome. Can’t wait to come back!

A wonderful lake house for my family. The house has everything you need. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking and there's lots of fun stuff for playing on the lake. Very comfortable inside and out. We had a great time!

It was another magical stay at the Point. Beautiful, private, serene setting, even during a busy time on the lake. The house was as immaculately clean and comfortable as it has been on our previous visits. We're tall -- both six feet -- and the slanted ceiling in the kitchen/bathroom (mentioned in another review) has never been a concern. Loren is the best host I've worked with on Airbnb, offering clear instructions and quick communication.

The lake house was beautiful and everything was just as described, we had more than enough towels and linens along with toiletries and dish and laundry soap, furniture was comfortable and there was enough for our family of 4 we enjoyed the the beach area very much they even had beach toys in the shed for our little. He was very responsive and friendly.

We enjoyed our week-long stay! The house was cozy and peaceful and great for kids. We appreciated all the toys since we had a 1 year old with us! The house had everything we needed and more! We would recommend this place!!

Wonderful stay. The house was well stocked and clean, and the beds were comfortable. The lot is very large with plenty of space for yard games and activities. Would 100% look for availability here, if we were staying in the area in the future.

This lakefront cottage is wonderful for relaxing. Completely peaceful, cozy, and quiet! The dock is a perfect place to watch the sunset and the three season room has tremendous lake views. We really enjoyed morning coffee and breakfast in the three season porch/room. Our host (Brad) was super responsive with communications and very helpful with recommendations.

We had a wonderful Memorial weekend getaway! The house was perfect for our family of 4 and our dog. We enjoyed all this property inside and outside. All the little touches from smore kits, popcorn machine, charging station, games for the family and towels for the hot tub made this property even better. We enjoyed hiking at trails nearby. My husband and son fished every day. Went into Hastings and Middleville for some amazing dinners. We had some breathtaking sunsets as well! We would love to come back when the weather is even warmer to fully enjoy the lake.

Wow is the only words. definitely a 10 out of 10. The house was immaculately clean. very well stocked and organized. We were on a girls trip and we had the best time.

What a wonderful find this adorable little cabin was!!! Although tiny it has everything we needed for a relaxing and fun stay. Having the kayaks to use was wonderful and the steps and decks leading to the beautiful lake are just perfect.

Tempe and Jessica were great with communication. The place was beautiful and relaxing. We came down from Gaylord for the MIS race. It was close to the track and had plenty of room for our party of 5. Worth trying to book again if we go back to MIS next year! Thank you, ladies, for the great hospitality and accommodations.

Great little place tucked away in the woods on a lake. So quiet and peaceful. You couldn't beat the beautiful sunrise and the serenity of it all. Great place to unwind from reality!

This home is quite small, as you can see, but WONDERFULLY stunning and comfortable. Taste and design are meticulous. Very comfortable beds and linens. Great ambiance and amenities. Kitchen and bathroom are both downstairs in the walk out basement, not necessarily a problem for most, I could see the kitchen was down there, but it didn’t seem like the bathroom was. Fine for me, a little challenging at night for my elderly Mom. Otherwise zero issues, gorgeous view, nice amenities, and super responsive, kind and caring host. You can tell they want you to be super comfortable. Will definitely stay here again, probably with my spouse. Perfect place for a couples getaway as well! The primary bedroom with the larger bed is on the back of the house with breathtaking views of the lake.

This cabin was great for our group. It was the perfect place for a week on the lake. We really appreciated how it had everything we needed from toys to kayaks and paddles, to fishing supplies. We brought a lot of our own stuff, but we didn’t need it at all. The boat rental was absolutely perfect as well. To have the boat ready for us when we arrived was so convenient and we enjoyed the boat all week! This house was super pet friendly, with all the details thought about. Baby gates to close off the upstairs and down stairs and plenty of dog bowls to use. This host was super responsive with any questions we had leading up to our stay and throughout the visit. Hopefully we will be back again!
