Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Calhoun County

We loved staying here! Our hosts Kristy & Tony were polite & responsive. This was our best experience with an airbnb anywhere! We felt at home and thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It felt like home, and it was outfitted with everything we needed! As soon as we arrived we felt as if we could have moved in and stayed forever, it was so cozy! The property itself is beautiful. We saw several deer, several raccoons, squirrels, and many birds. The creek was clean and peaceful. The hot tub was indeed hot and everything worked well. The bathroom was clean and stocked with soaps, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and even extra toothbrushes which was wonderful as my wife forgot hers at home! The bedrooms were cute & had easy to access storage which was nice. However the best part of staying here was enjoying the kitchen. Not only is it well equipped with everything you would need to make any meals, it has a fantastic view! 10/10 loved staying here!!! We will be coming back again!!

This beautiful Airbnb was quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature. We truly enjoyed seeing various animals in their natural setting. The house was beautiful and spotless. It was comfortable and welcoming, allowing us to relax fully. Joe was very responsive and helpful, answering all our questions and making us feel at home. This stay was just what we needed during our busy move. In short, our stay was a perfect mix of peace, beauty, and great hospitality. We truly enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend it for anyone needing a peaceful break.

Really beautiful space in a fab location. Perfect getaway to escape and connect with nature. Very comfortable and clean. Had everything we needed and we also really enjoyed making use of some of the equipment for the lake. We would definitely stay again

Great Stay, we were only there for one night for a wedding but it was great to hang out in and had plenty of beds and was a nice overall place. Wish we could've stayed longer to enjoy all it had to offer.

It was a delightful surprise to learn that our hosts were symphony subscribers. Their hospitality made our musicians feel truly welcomed and at ease during their stay.

It was great meeting love the space for parking. It was so cozy the bed was so nice. The only weird thing is the bathroom is in the dinning room and really small. But overall it was a great experience good area I will be back to book again!!

The house was really great. We were there golfing, and spent limited time on the property, but may come back to do just that. The property is gorgeous and it’s a great place to get away and relax. Really enjoyed our time there, wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

This was my and my boyfriend’s first time staying at an air b and b so we weren’t sure what to expect. However, it was a pleasant experience with great hosts! I’d stay anywhere these hosts had listed - clean, pleasant environment, responsive communication, and the price was a little cursory than a local hotel with a much, much better experience. Hands this was almost perfect except the bed could have been a little more comfortable, but that’s a personal presence since I prefer beds almost as firm as cement to sleep on. I’d definitely recommend.

We have stayed at many Airbnb's and this is certainly a candidate for best overall. A block away from downtown, it is a lovely home in a very nice older neighborhood. The place is tastefully decorated and absolutely spotless. The complimentary coffee was delicious! And the bed was very soft, which I love. The hosts are very responsive and the booklet they provide is quite helpful, especially for newer Airbnb members. This Airbnb is a perfect example of why we love Airbnb so much.

More and better than I expected! Loved the look and design of the inside! A refreshing stay where we felt right at home and within walking distance of where we wanted to be. There were plenty of linens, dishes and amenities! Will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Patrice’s place. It was the perfect location for catching a show at the Franke Center. Patrice was welcoming and kind and she left many thoughtful touches to enhance our visit. We adored the warm and eclectic decor around the apartment. We highly recommend this rental for a comfortable stay in Marshall!

This was probably one of our favorite Air BnB’s (so far). We have stayed in a lot of different AirBnBs all across the US & the islands, so we have a lot of experience with a variety of spaces and hosts. We will definitely book this again when we return to visit family.

We loved our stay. My wife grew up in Marshall. So when we were coming to town we decided to stay in downtown, close to Louie’s Bakery. The host did not oversell the apartment. It is even larger than it appears in the phots. We loved the attention to detail in the restoration of the building. Would definitely stay again.

My family and I booked Kathleen’s place for a wedding we had in town. We’re from out of state and had never stayed near Battle Creek before so weren’t sure what to expect. The place was easy to find, and everything was exactly as described! It was pristinely clean, the layout is thoughtful and spacious, and the views are incredible! The property is situated on beautiful rolling hills, and Kathleen has spared no detail in making sure you have everything you need to enjoy the indoor and outdoor spaces!! It’s perfectly secluded and private while only being a mile from the highway, and 5-20 minutes from everything we needed to access. On top of all this, Kathleen is proactive and always checking in making sure we had what we needed. Her instructions were clear, and she’s a very kind host. We are so grateful to her for opening her home to us! We can’t wait to come back!!

Great place. Clean. Large space. Great location to downtown. Hosts gave me rides to and from airport which was great!! I’d book again. One thing that threw me off was the hosts live there and is shared living space with them. I thought it was maybe shared with another renter. Probably describe that in the listing but they were great and most accommodating hosts I’ve ever had from getting food and drinks I needed to providing rides

Our host, Kristen, let us know the unit was not quite ready at check-in time, but that was ok. We were at a friend's place visiting. She went out of her way to drop off some wine and other things, which were greatly appreciated! Breakfast was available, but we ended up not being able to enjoy it. I've stayed in many ABnb's. Not only does Kristen have great style (I love how she paired old and new together), but the place was super clean. There was not a fingerprint or "lived in" odor from previous guests. I usually feel like I need to do a little cleaning even in the most highly-rated places, but it was so nice not to in Kristen's. We walked to Brick & Brine for dinner one night. There are plenty of things to do near by, and WMU campus is only a 7-8 min drive away. My friends warned me that there were a lot of homeless in this area because there is a mission nearby, but having lived in the San Francisco and LA areas, this was NOTHING, well-controlled, and contained to daytime hours.

Val was an amazing host. She was always available when I had any concerns and accommodated any requests I had. she also helped me get to know the area better by recommending activities for my daughter and I. I'm really going to miss the view from the wall length windows. The location is great, everything you need is literally up the street. Downtown is a 5 min walk from the condo and is so beautiful. I would stay again.

I traveled to Michigan with my sister for a family reunion, so I wanted a place with two separate bedrooms. Boz's place was a great choice. It is one unit in a community of four-unit apartment buildings. It was probably built in the 1970s, but it has been fixed up well. Everything was squeaky clean. I walked around in new white socks and had no worries about getting them dirty. Boz included some nice details, including fluffy towels and a big new bar of soap. The shower is mounted up high, which I appreciate because I'm tall. The unit has its own 40-gallon water heater. There was a bowl with packaged snacks like granola bars, which was helpful in the morning to hold me over before I left for breakfast. The location is three minutes (by car) from an Aldi grocery store, but I never used it on this trip. I ate breakfast every day at Roxie's which is a great place that's only about four minutes away. I will be happy to stay here again next time I visit Kalamazoo.

Very nice apartment that is close to downtown. A couple of chairs on the balcony would be nice now that the weather is warming up!

Host was proactive with sending check in instructions, house was clean and was perfect for my 15 month old nephew to play!
