It is a fully independent house with garden with lots of privacy. On the ground floor, there is a cozy living room with pellet stove and a new open kitchen, which is equipped with all comforts. Behind the house is a private garden with terrace. On the second floor are a bathroom, 2 bedrooms with 4 beds and a laundry room with washing machine.

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

We are far from the hustle and bustle of the city but still within easy reach of local towns, villages and attractions. Our cozy holiday bungalow in the park "de Watersnip" in the coastal town of Petten is close to the beach and the canals around the park. From the parking lot, you go by a small shell path to our private, hedged retreat. The park de Watersnip, in which our MEERZEIT is located, also has great leisure facilities (pool, etc.) available to our tenants & guests. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask at the information desk at the park entrance.

In winter, it may be too cold to sit there with just the fireplace. Bathroom has a 2-person bathtub and a double shower. The bathroom also has a washing machine and dryer. Wonderful apartment to stay completely on your own and enjoy the tranquility!

Forest Cabin is a cosy eco-cabin for 2 persons, situated at the edge of the forest on our green campsite. The double bed of this eco-cabin is made for you on arrival and towels and kitchen linen are ready for you. Every morning we bring a delicious fresh and extensive breakfast to your door, including fresh bread from the local bakery, organic yoghurt and cheese from the carefarm, various juices and many other good things.

An excellent starting point for cycling routes.
