Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Calumet County

This is the second time we have stayed with Doug and Kathy and we’d stay countless more times. If we are ever in the area we’ll always be sure to check if their place is available.

This is my fourth year staying with Kathy and Doug, and the third year that I have brought my friends along. We all LOVE Kathy and Dave and their beautiful home! Their home is absolutely spotless, their yard and back patio are beautifully maintained with gorgeous flowers and a shady patio, and the location is just a short 7 minute drive to the heart of Appleton where we attend an annual music event. And Kathy puts out a lovely light breakfast with coffee and tea, fruits, granola, yogurt and assorted breads each morning. And she has it all ready so we can enjoy it on the back patio before we head off for the day. We love our annual stay with Kathy and Dave and highly recommended them as top hosts! You will feel safe, rested and well cared for by these amazing hosts at their beautiful home!

Place was easy to find. Great location and safe neighborhood. Restaurants and shopping very close. Rooms and bathroom were very clean. She was very accommodating to anything we requested or needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place for EAA Airventure that’s off the beaten path yet close to the freeway for a quick 35 min drive into Oshkosh. Neighborhood is quiet and perfect. Super friendly hosts! Good job yall!

Eric’s place was very peaceful, and they are friendly as well. He helped me with checking in and showed me around. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and will definitely want to stay here again.

Doug and Kathy are perfect hosts. We had a lovely welcome and really enjoyed chatting to them, yet they still gave us space to have some time to ourselves. The house is great with your room and bathroom a separate side of the house making it feel very private. Everything was spotless and we were made to feel very comfortable in their home. Definitely recommend!

The house and room were fantastic, especially considering the other area options at around the same price. It was roomy, in a wonderful neighborhood, great ambiance, and if the weather was warmer it would have been perfect to enjoy resting in the back yard patio! Eric and Susan communicated well, and were definitely open and engaging with conversation whenever one happened to be in the same room as them. I very much enjoyed the location as a base of operations for my area adventures when in town, and look forward to staying here again the next time I swing through.

This is such a gem! We traveled with 2 young children and after a day at Road America it was EVERYTHING we needed. We didn’t get a chance to try to sauna or cold plunge, but the place felt just like home and was so convenient. We can wait to visit again!

Robert’s place was great!! Super well located and just minutes from Lambeau Field. We were in town to do all things Green Bay Packers! It was nice to be so close to everything. The house is just like the photos and he gave great instructions on parking. Everything is nicely labeled, it was super comfortable and I would definitely book again! Thanks for a great stay!

If you are like me and not able to go to your mother’s home very often — but sure wish you could — you must stay here! The apartment was impeccably clean, extremely comfortable and very accessible. I felt like I was in my mother’s house with the special homemade touches. Family is clearly the focus with our hosts and they treated us as such! Warm and comfortable beds, lovely furnishings and the photos, decor and little surprises were the best. They know how to host, they welcome you in and treat you like long lost family. I would definitely stay here again if the need arises. Thank you both!

Clear instructions for parking and very easy check-in. It was actually closer to college Ave than we realized making out Saturday plans entirely walkable. We love it was pet friendly and we had our two dogs with us. There was a nice park right across the street for them to stretch their legs. Jodi’s place was incredibly clean and amenities were just right.

Very nice place to stay. Couldn’t get tv to work and cleaning deposit was a bit high. But very close to our kids, which was nice. Will stay again.

We had a great stay! Perfect amount of space. Beautiful and updated amenities. Even delivered a noise machine to help with noise from the infant staying upstairs! Also had a couple snows while we were there and the drive was always shoveled! 10/10 recommend!

This place felt like home to us from the moment we walked in. The furniture is comfortable and so are the beds. Vicki was always responsive to any questions or concerns we had. This location is GREAT, especially if you don’t mind a two block walk to look out over Elkhart Lake. If we’re ever in need of a place in this area we will DEFINITELY contact Vicki about this place.

Really cute, clean place in a nice location in Appleton. We loved the private access, soaking tub, and use of laundry machine. This was a great stay!

Location, location, location. If you’re in Oshkosh for EAA AirVenture, this is the place for a small, 3-person or smaller, family or group. If you can’t get some sort of permit parking pass, it’s faster to walk the 10 minutes to the Super 8 motel and take the North 40 bus to the grounds. The advantages of being that close to the bus route cannot be overstated. Being able to come “home” for lunch, or to cool down, before the air show was fantastic.

Beautiful spot with lots of activities to partake in near by. Tiki bar by the beach is great! Luke is also a great host and extremely communicative.
