House holiday rentals in Cambridge

What a wonderful place to stay for a couple of days R&R or an extended holiday. We were a group of seven who had been travelling around Tassie, playing golf. We had two nights here for a lovely rest, and what a fabulous place to do just that. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. We really didn't need to leave the house as there was plenty to do there, either relaxing by the fire, playing pool or relaxing in the spa and pool. The house is perfect for a group of friends or a family reunion for a holiday or a few days catch up. I would recommend this property to anyone. This is an outstanding property with a wonderful and responsive host. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The house is very private and well appointed, maintained and stocked with quality produce and supplies - we were also welcomed by a beautiful hamper, and warm service. The property itself has stunning views from almost every window. We enjoyed using the gym (located in an adjacent private building which can also be used as a study), pool and spa. We had a few things on our list to visit for the Huon Valley but were very content to stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities. We would most definitely return here when visiting Tasmania.

Beautiful place! 10 members in 2 families stayed for 4 nights while driving around Tasmania. We cooked most meals in and enjoyed the space for our Canadian/Australian family connection. There was a lot of space to be alone or together. We even did yoga on the top floor that was fully equipped. There are beautiful surroundings near the sea and we were grateful to have the pool available so close to winter. The total experience made a great memory for our families.

We had an excellent few days with our family at Marina’s house. The house is simple with large rooms and lots of space indoor and out. The view is lovely and ever changing and the kids loved the ducks and native hens. An ideal place for a family gathering.

Great location for family or friends to get together. Literally walk out the door onto a beautiful beach. Plenty of outdoor amenities available incl swimming pool, tennis, basketball hoop, billiards, kayaks etc. Quiet and peaceful area, but close to airport and to Hobart so very convenient. Great communication from Julie in advance who also met us on arrival and showed us in. Thank you for a great stay.

Chantelle was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. I had a lot of questions, both for myself and on behalf of the group. Chantelle was always quick to respond and happy to assist. Her communication was excellent, and she was flexible with our check-in times, which really helped accommodate our busy schedule. The house itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It was so well-equipped, down to all the essentials, which made staying in really enjoyable and convenient. I’d definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Tassie.☺️

Christiane and her husband were very hospitable and friendly. We felt very welcomed and felt blessed to share their beautiful space. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful and peaceful experience.

The bush setting , the water views, the design and fit out are all top notch . Private and tranquil . We appreciated the expresso coffee machine ( and local beans in generous supply ) and other welcoming touches . Everything has been thought of in this immaculately presented house . We had a lovely stay for our babymoon at Freya's accommodation. Easy check in and very cosy. Especially loved the comfortable bed with electric heating. Freya was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

An absolutely beautiful home! My husband and I stayed for a week for our honeymoon, and it was the perfect getaway! The home is stunning, close to CBD and everything was spotless and clean. We couldn’t have stayed anywhere better. Thank you Aloïse!!

A truly unique place in stunning surroundings. Very conveniently located near MONA and the wildlife sanctuary with a couple of lovely wineries nearby. The comments from previous guests are accurate - one large living area so suitable for a family.

We absolutely loved staying at this house as it felt so warm, inviting and homely! The afternoon sun in the living area was just divine and I could of stayed there all afternoon just relaxing. We could honestly not fault this property at all, and we will definitely be booking again for our next Hobart stay! Natalie is a fantastic host who was flexible with our check in needs, and was very responsive to messages.

My partner and I had a lovely stay at Braithwaite! We travelled down to Hobart, for Dark Mofo, and the house was the perfect home base to unwind and refresh after day/night trips. The place was spotless and each space was prepared with care, to ensure we had everything we needed. We made great use of the outdoor bath, which was appreciated after a day on foot.

If you ever think about a place where the company of the person you are with can then be matched by the surroundings, comfort and atmosphere this is it. Treat yourself and someone you really really care for. Simply just enjoy. The privacy, peace and comfort of the water and the facilities are exceptional. Thankyou so much Cath and Rick..

Catrina, her team, and the house were absolutely amazing! Our group spent 4 days and 3 nights at this wonderful home and had such a memorable experience. The house is conveniently located near the airport, very quiet, and fully equipped with everything we needed. One moment that really impressed us was when we asked for some firewood to roast marshmallows — it was delivered within 15 minutes! That level of responsiveness was truly appreciated. This is also an ideal place to view the Milky Way at night — the sky was breathtaking. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Hobart. It’s the perfect spot for a peaceful and unforgettable stay.

Absolutely adored this place. The house was really warm and cozy. The bath and the outdoor pizza oven were great aspects of the house. Location was great, close to everything we wanted to do. Would stay again :)

We were lucky enough that there was a last minute booking available, my partner and I were camping and in desperate need of a refresh. The cottage was the perfect place to reset while also still feeling as if we were out in the open as we were surrounded by breathtaking scenery and the most adorable animals. We felt very welcomed as Michelle showed us around the home and gave fantastic recommendations for food and activities in the area when we checked in, and she gave us plenty of privacy for our stay. The cottage is stocked with plenty of furnishings and accessories to make it feel like a home away from home, and the fresh milk left for us in the fridge was delicious. Thank you so much for the most relaxing stay and we will definitely book again when we come back to Tassie 😊

We loved our stay, such a gorgeous location and short walk to the beach. Lovely and clean, a very spacious house for our tended family. The kitchen had all the essentials and appliances. We loved the coffee machine and fresh coffee beans. Great large walk-in showers and super comfy beds. We loved the outdoor fire pit, perfect for roasting marshmallows. We all had a lovely and relaxing weekend away and everything was exactly as Lucy described.

We had a wonderful stay at Beach Front Retreat! Steve and Theresa were amazing hosts—very kind, accommodating, and checked in with us regularly to make sure everything was going smoothly. The house was clean, comfortable, and warm when we arrived, which made us feel right at home. It's in a great location—easy to drive to and conveniently accessible from both the city center and the airport. Overall, a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely recommend this place to my friends and would love to come back and stay again!
