It was very central and we enjoyed visiting the many museums, the landmarks and quaint restaurants in Graaff-Reinet. The bobotie we ordered for dinner last night was delicious.

I usually take the traditional route between Cape Town and Johannesburg, stopping in Colesberg or Richmond. This time, I explored a new path and discovered Nieu-Bethesda—a hidden gem. The town’s gravel roads, fantastic restaurants, free-roaming horses, and the sound of owls at night created a magical atmosphere, especially while enjoying incredible lamb dishes. The highlight was my stay at Ludolf and Carla’s Airbnb. Their beautifully restored, pet-friendly home is tastefully decorated and equipped with every comfort. Thoughtful touches—welcome sherry, luxurious bedding, Africalogic amenities, homemade rusks, and fresh milk—made me feel truly pampered. Their property also features a stunning underground cellar for special events. Ludolf and Carla provided excellent communication and a detailed town map. Their hospitality, combined with Nieu-Bethesda’s charm, made this an unforgettable experience. I’m officially a fan and will definitely be back!

Nikki's place was an EXCELLENT overnight stay. We had a lovely braai outside and thoroughly enjoyed the hot shower, fantastic linen and warm blankets! A definite recommendation!

Had a good overnight stay here. Place is very clean and exactly as described. It is on a main road which can be a bit noisy with trucks at night but overall, a great place for one night.

A great place for us to stay over for 1 night on our trip north. The place is spotlessly clean, with good quality bedding and towels. A short walk to some great coffee shops. Extremely well priced.
