Holiday houses in Cammas de Grèzes

I stayed at Chris’s place with my dad for 3 nights after heading up from Perpignan. The apartment is a couple of minutes walk from the train station and also a couple of minutes away from the main square, where there are ample restaurants. It wasn’t peak season so they weren’t always open but we still managed to get some great meals. The apartment is also about a 20 minute walk to the medieval city, which is great if you love a bit of history. The apartment itself is immaculate and very comfortable. The balcony was great to sit out on and you can hear the organs playing from the church opposite. The apartment is on the street and cars going by can be loud, but Chris kindly left earplugs in the bedrooms to resolve this. We would definitely recommend Chris’s apartment and would love to stay again.

Unserer Zeit bei Christine und André war wunderschön! Der Ort ist unbeschreiblich und die beiden haben uns mit ihrer herzlichen Art total berührt. Christine hat uns im nahegelegenen Ort getroffen und wir sind ihr mit dem Auto gefolgt. Die Strecke gibt einen Vorgeschmack auf die tollen Wanderungen, die man dort unternehmen kann. Die Straße ist nicht befestigt, aber langsam kommt man gut voran. Der Weiler, in dem die Gîte sich befindet, ist wie aus einem Märchen. Man hat eine private Pergola mit wunderbarem Blick. Vor dem Eingang ist ein Tisch an dem man in der Morgensonne Kaffee genießen und Essen kann. Die Wohnung war die bestausgestatteste und stilvoll eingerichtetste, in der wir je waren. Alles ist nachhaltig und mit so viel Liebe gestaltet. Christine und André geben einem das Gefühl von totaler Privatsphäre und nehmen einen gleichzeitig komplett in ihre Welt auf. Wir durften Lamas streicheln und den Weiler erkunden und über die beindruckende Geschichte erfahren. Es war einzigartig!

Séjour incroyable dans la maison de Nicolas, le logement est encore mieux que sur les photos. L'espace extérieur est plus qu'agréable avec tout ce qu'il faut, coin ombragé et même un brasero :) le tout sans vis à vis. La maison décorée avec beaucoup de goût est bien tenue au frais même par cette canicule, les lits sont confortables et l'environnement est calme. J'ai déjà envie de revenir! Merci a Nicolas pour son accueil et sa gentillesse. A bientôt peut être!

We are a party of six adults. The house proved to be exactly as advertised. It is a fantastic property in a fabulous location. The owner Sixtine has been a pleasure to deal with. All communication was clear and any questions were responded to quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended.

Un 1er week-end hors du temps avec notre chienne et notre nouveau-né, nous ne pouvions pas rêver mieux ! Tijs et sa chienne Pipa nous ont fait un accueil chaleureux. Le chalet, comment le décrire ?! Un petit cocon niché dans un écrin de verdure 🥰🥰 Tijs a tout monté de ses mains, un savant mélange entre un travail de Titan et celui d'un orfèvre. Qu'une hâte, revenir ! Merci encore pour tout. We had a fantastic stay here - the location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the medieval castle. It is so easy to step outside and soak in the atmosphere with charming alleyways, plenty of eateries (still some closed in mid-June), and little shops all around. Access to the castle and the walk along the wall (highly recommend) is just minutes away. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable, with great bathroom facilities and a fantastic outdoor area that we really enjoyed. We did have a bit of trouble finding it at first, but once we reread Marie's instructions it all made sense - be sure to look for Le Rendez-vous above the entrance door. Having free car parking was brilliant, and we didn’t mind the walk up to the apartment. We stayed one night, and found we had enough time to look around, we loved old Carcassonne and it is definitely worth visiting. It was a really memorable stay and we’d thoroughly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at Claude and Jocelyne's apartment. The apartment is really clean and comfortable and very well equipped. Nice hot shower and comfortable bed. Jocelyne kindly picked us up from the airport and drove us to the apartment where she showed us around and gave some excellent restaurant recommendations. The location is perfect; five minutes walk to the  old town and five minutes walk to the old bridge taking you into the new town. Being so close it allowed us to get into the old town early morning before the crowds arrive. We went in at 8.30am when it was really quiet and had a completely different vibe compared to the later crowded periods. This apartment would certainly be our number one choice when we return to Carcassonne.
