Bungalow holiday rentals in Campo de Cartagena

I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. It’s in a very safe area. The apartment was immaculately clean but there was only one rooftop sunbed. We contacted Svetlana & another was provided the following day. Very comfortable bed with 2 large duvets, which keeps you cooler. The area itself is beautiful & peaceful. There’s a locked gate system - feels very secure. Outside, you walk through a lovely cool forest and onto a boardwalk which then turns into a long promenade along the seafront. You can go for long/short walks. A few restaurants along it to stop & eat. We had a car hire & found La Habaneras Open Shopping Centre which we loved & drove to the local market which was huge on Sunday morning. Svetlana was always giving us suggestions of things to do & places to go. Only advice I’d give is that the winding steps to the apartment are quite narrow so for anyone not quite steady on their feet, avoid & look for a ground floor. Mid April weather was wet & windy mostly.

El apartamento esta completo en todo lo que pueda necesitar, tanto de cocina, como de comodidades en general. Las vistas de la terraza, la tranquilidad de la zona, la cercanía a la arena... todo es genial para desconectar durante unos días en familia y amigos, especialmente con niños pequeños. Repetiremos sin duda.

Hemos disfrutado nuestro viaje de fin de semana. Pros - 1. la ubicación 2. la jacuzzi 3. la casa está bien equipada y 4. anfitrión amable. Cons - 1. faltaba limpieza en el salón y en la cocina y en una habitación (basura/cristal en el suelo en los tres sitios cuando hemos llegado) y la barbacoa no estaba limpia cuando hemos llegado y teníamos que limpiarla antes de usarla. 2. Creo que el precio-calidad por la limpieza no es justo después de ver otros anuncios. 3. Hay algún problema con humedad en el aseo de la habitación en suite - huele mal siempre aunque hemos dejado la ventana abierta. Aún así quiero destacar que hemos disfrutado nuestro viaje en general y lo haríamos otra vez. Gracias!

Top Apartment und supernette Gastgeberin. Sie hat auch immer sofort geantwortet und war sehr freundlich. Das Appartment entsprach der Beschreibung, sehr sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und die Aussicht auf das Meer war einfach wunderbar. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Tal cual como en las fotos las calidades del sitio de primera y muy bien ubicado, la playa a 5 minutos con sitios para desayunar y dar un paseo, muy fácil para aparcar, nos sentimos muy a gusto

Tan pronto como llegamos a la casa de Jörg, inmediatamente nos enamoramos de su casa e incluso pedimos extender nuestra estadía. La hermosa naturaleza y los bosques de pinos que nos rodean. 10 minutos caminando por un callejón sombreado hasta la playa. Ambiente de paz y relajación. Silencio. Seguridad. Excelente contacto con los vecinos. Mi perro está encantado. Y en realidad la casa se ve incluso mejor que en la foto. ¡Muchas gracias, Jörg! No queríamos irnos de tu casa.

The accommodation is spacious, well appointed and comfortable. There were 3 in our party but we all agreed it would still be comfortable with 6. There was plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils and playthings for young children. Silvia was an excellent host, and we felt the property had been well prepared. There were a couple of minor issues that were fixed so quickly, they did not cause us a problem. A real mark of quality. We visited in late September, temperatures in mid to upper 20's and moderate humidity. We had few neighbours so quiet and peaceful. Restaurants were comfortably full for atmosphere but never waited for a table. One good venue a short walk from the property. The only downside to the time we visited it was some restaurants were closed but this was fully compensated in many other ways. Likewise, the resort pool was closed but the beach, Mediterranean side, was almost deserted. Highly recommended . Recognise the Mar Menor is an inland sea.

Outstanding accommodation and the apartment was spotless. The host was brilliant and made checking in very easy. No doubt that I will book this accommodation again. Bars, restaurants and supermarkets all within walking distance.

Buena comunicación en todo momento, anfitriones atentos y preocupados por los inquilinos; nos sentimos super bien acogidos y cualquier problema o duda que ha surgido a lo largo de la estancia se nos ha sido solucionada. Muy contentos con el apartamento y mucho mas con el trato recibido. Recomendado sin duda alguna.

Villa is beautiful and spotlessy clean perfect location very peaceful and restaurants were within a 5 minute walk.our flight was late but host was still there to pick us up in the small hours of the morning.host was very friendly and showed around the villa.check out was at 12pm but they let us stay till 3 pm.great air conditioning in bedroom and main room which was a god send when you came in from the heat outside.all in all it was an excellent villa to stay at and I would highly recommend using dimitri.

Hemos estado 3 días en la casa, dos adultos y dos niños. La localización es muy buena, con unas vistas al lago buenísima. Además, está a 10 minutos en coche de las playas de Torrevieja y a 5 minutos de grandes supermercados. La casa es pequeña (dos habitaciones), pero está muy bien organizada. Tiene aire acondicionado y también tiene un ventilador de techo en el salón. Mejoraría lo relacionado con barbacoa. La que había era muy pequeña, de esas redondas de pie bajo. Una de obra daría un 10 al alojamiento. Por lo demás, muy bien. Tuvimos un problema con una luz y lo solucionaron enseguida. Gracias por todo

Enjoyed my stay at the villa, which was very well located (5 mins walk to beach and supermarket, and 10 mins to restaurants etc). Tim was super helpful in the lead-up and during the stay - his service was faultless. The villa was spacious and well equipped. However it would benefit from (1) air conditioning (trip was in August when temperatures were 30-35). The ceiling fans helped a bit but only when directly below. (2) Some general updating (e.g fridge/washing machine). My trip was just over 3 weeks and wifi was key to be able to work - had no issues on this front as coverage was good throughout the villa. Overall: 5 stars for Holidays in Spain's service and 4 stars for the villa itself.

Lovely house to Stay in close to shops and amenities air con was brilliant washing machine great large fridge and freezer

We stayed for a month at Danielle and Marc’s bungalow which was just perfect for us as a couple. They were great - excellent comms from the outset,with lots of information about the area and the property.Local contact Anne was also very nice and helpful. The property is a small gated community which is a mix of residents and holidays stays, which felt very safe, very quiet at all times which suited us, but maybe not for a family with children.The pool is not heated but lovely and clean.The property has all the features as described,we made full use of the well equipped kitchen and loved the outside eating spaces. Washing machine and drying line on the roof terrace were very useful as we were staying so long. La Fuente complex is within 8 minutes walk with a vast selection of bars and restaurants.We particularly liked the Indian restaurant Ace of Spices and the Asian restaurant Yummy (on the left at the top of the hill up from the centre). Fab stay and we will definitely return.
