Villa holiday rentals in Campo de Cartagena

Nice house. The key-box didn’t work at our arrival but John and Helen fixed our problem by contacting a neighbor who came with another key. We had to leave the place due to a too far distance of locations that we were looking to visit (north of Alicante).

The villa is a great space for family and friends to gather. 4 good sized double bedrooms and 2 shower rooms as well as an extra 'outside' shower for the summer months and trips to the beach. Even in January it was warm enough to sit on the spacious covered terrace and be just back from the beach - with the sound of the waves in the background. Good living/dining space inside. It is a traditional Spanish villa with the deep terrace means it is darker and cool inside - but reverse cycle aircon provided heating in the evenings. We know the area well having had a house there previously and were happy to be back in familiar territory. Location of Sarah's villa though made it easy to walk to the shops, bars & restaurants in Isla Plana - no need for designated driver! Will definitely book again for our next visit to the Mazarron area.

Lovely villa - 8 of us had plenty of room. Spotlessly clean on arrival. Well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the table tennis and table football in the garage. Pool a great size and lots of seating options. Very thoughtful touches such as sun shade for the garden sofa set. Good location in terms of accessing supermarkets and restaurants (arguably not walking distance if you aren't v mobile). Good beaches nearby, with lovely clear water for snorkeling. We had a great week in villa Luigi and would visit again.

Loved it ! Was after some peace and tranquility and simple living for a few days and this is exactly what we got . Myself and my husband felt so at home straight away . Corinne and Graham are lovely, kind people and allowed us privacy even though their bungalow was just at the bottom of our garden . The small cottage apartment is all you require for a simple break away and we spent the whole holiday in flip flops and swim wear , in and out of the wonderful pool , sun bathing , barbecuing , reading , eating and drinking … The bed is very comfy , air con is good and the shower is excellent . Thanks for a wonderful stay . We will definitely be back x

We have stopped on the resort many times over the years. This villa was bright, clean and modern. Very close to the supermarket and Jose was very quick to reply to any queries.

Fell in love with the pool area and a house with a family spirit. Salvador has always been extremely kind and attentive to make the stay enjoyable. The air-conditioned rooms are very comfortable and the different spaces make it possible to adapt family life to the atmospheres and the weather. A very happy stay for all of us!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Andrea’s Villa. Andrea was super helpful and always available - before arrival and throughout our stay. A great host! The outdoor space and pool were perfect for us. The Villa was clean with everything you need. It really was a great holiday for us! Mar Menor resort is safe, quiet with facilities such as padel and gym available to use. Cannot recommend more. We will return when next in Murcia. Thanks!

The villa is beautiful and fully equipped with everything you could need, there are lots of lovely social areas, so with 7 adults and 4 children it still felt very spacious. The beach is a very short walk down a quiet road and there is a great restaurant with beautiful views. There are plenty of eating options around and a supermarket nearby (a very useful wheely trolley is provided in the house!). Leif and Sylwie, were really helpful and great at communicating. We had a great stay and would highly recommend.

spent 11 days in the villa with all of the family children and Grandchildren, all really enjoyed the villa and location. Car was essential to visit local beaches and surrounding villages but well worth it. would definitely recommend the Villa and area.

We had a fantastic stay at this villa and Pavo was a wonderful host. He contacted me in the week before we arrived to check our flight times and answer any questions. He was very flexible with our check-in time and met us at the villa to give us a tour. The villa is even better than the photos and description. So peaceful, very clean, and had everything we needed. We requested that the pool be heated and it was a lovely temperature which meant the children spent a lot of time in it. I would really recommend this villa. Thank you Pavo and team!

A wonderful villa and wonderful hosts. Full exclusive use,very secure and all the mod cons. All amenities as listed and the pool/ garden area is a lovely private place to enjoy the family holiday, even better than the photos. We were 2 families of 4, loads of space and 5 minute walk to the beach and lovely little chiringuitos. Other towns such as the lovely Puerto de Mazarrón just a short drive/taxi away, sad to come home to reality, thank you for sharing your lovely home with us

We visited the villa as a family of 7, the hosting very easy to communicate with, the villa is very clean and spacious. We hired cars as we wanted to visit different areas of Spain, you can walk to the supermarket and cafe etc… we had a really nice stay.

Once again we had a wonderful stay in Las Brisas. Our family loved the villa and it suited our needs perfectly. We could have stayed another week quite happily! The pool was heated to a perfect temperature and our 3 year old granddaughter loved going in every day. The children's pack was extremely helpful & everything came in useful. Debbie, our host was extremely helpful both before and during our stay. Walking to the restaurants on resort was easily doable and a pleasant walk. We cannot wait to return :)

I highly recommend this stay!! A clean house, with everything, very complete. More than sufficient amenities. Next to the beach, walking a few minutes from both the beach of the minor sea and the major sea. I would definitely repeat.

Beautiful house. Very close to super markets for home cooking in a lovely kitchen or easily walkable into the centre of San Javier or down to the beach in Santiago de la Ribera.

This was honestly the best villa I've ever been to! It was private, incredibly beautiful and so clean . The outside area is like stepping into the love island villa. The pool was huge and gorgeous. There were all different places to sit outside. Whether you're eating, socialising or even a little hut to drink in and a bbq area! jacuzzi with jets!! The pictures don't don't do it justice! I couldn't have asked for anything more from this experience. The host was the best host I've had through air bnb. Nothing was too much trouble and response times were very quick. One of the girls even left their passport in the villa and the host actually drove it to us with no questions asked!! We didn't actually want to leave the villa to explore/ go to beach clubs because nothing compared to the area we already had. If I could give the villa and host more than 5 stars I would! I've been to plenty of beautiful villas but this tops all of them hands down. It's kid friendly also not just for adults!!

Really enjoyed the few days on my most recent stay at this beautiful villa. The place is immaculately clean and everything is as you see in the pictures. Steve was very proactive offering help with transfers and local recommendations on places to eat, couldn't do enough. Lovely few days to chill and recharge the batteries. Already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend.

The villa was a great space for us - the pool and hot tub were superb and it was well worth paying for the pool to be heated. The kitchen was very well equipped with so many glasses/plates etc. There were plenty of beach towels for use by the pool and lots of loungers/cushions available. Katleen was extremely helpful and very quick to respond to messages.

We were a party of 8 (3 couples and two children). The house was the perfect size for us and the pool was a hit with everyone. The outdoor dining table and the space to congregate around the pool was very comfortable. The “grassy” area, front and back, was a hit with the kids. The place is fairly well equipped with kitchen amenities, but there is nothing available in terms of basics like salt, pepper, sugar etc. If you’re going to stay, be prepared to bring everything - including body wash, shampoo, pool towels etc. The location is quiet and safe, but a car is a must.

This villa is in a brilliant location (as expected!) and is very well equipped with plenty of everything, particularly in the kitchen, very comfortable beds and great showers. Some nice additional touches too including a lovely bowl of fruit and a very friendly and helpful welcome from Maria Luisa! We were a party of six (a three generation family) and there was plentiful seating inside the villa both for eating and casual use. We were there early season so the pool was too cool for comfortable use and the beach was being readied for Easter so the beach bar was not open but, on the plus side, when the sun did shine we had the beach to ourselves! The big bonus at this villa is the separate lounge and hot tub with a wonderful view which was heavily used on those wet and windy days! As hoped, we barely used the car as there are plenty of good restaurants in easy walking distance, more open at lunchtime than evening but, again, early season....a couple of weeks later for us next time!
