The place is beautiful! Even better than the pictures. The hot tub was so relaxing and the view is gorgeous. Lots of privacy for a quiet getaway. The place is very clean and Jess is a great host. She’s very friendly and responsive and also gives you privacy which we really appreciated. The place has everything you need for a comfortable stay, the host has even thought about the small things! We loved this place and I would definitely recommend it!! We would love to visit again! :)

This is a gorgeous timber frame cottage directly on the ocean. We loved the hot tub and had a clear starry night to enjoy the view. We loved the open concept cottage. The kitchen was well equipped and it was just a lovely space to hang out and listen to music or the waves of the ocean. Also the bed was super comfortable and had a great view. Special place!

We stay for 2 nights it was a perfect getaway for us. Lots to do inside and outside our little ones really enjoyed. The host was super nice and responsive. The house was very clean and the detail of the house was very homey. We really enjoyed our stay. Most recommended to book this it was very worth it.

I stayed at Michael’s place in June 2025 with some friends for a weekend getaway, in total there were 6 adults and one dog. The location was super easy to find and matched the photos and description exactly. Michael’s instructions were very clear and we had no issues whatsoever getting in and set up. It was also so nice to have an earlier check-in time than other Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at (check-in was at 1pm). The place is incredibly well-stocked, we were beyond impressed with the provided amenities, any little thing we may have forgotten was provided for us. We enjoyed the bonfire and the jacuzzi tub in the evenings, and had no problem following the easy instructions provided. We immensely enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it for a small gathering of family or friends! We did also notice many little touches that would make a stay with children very comfortable. Thanks Mike for such a lovely stay!

Loved the location, was a great place for a girls trip away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The bay gets a bit rougher than we expected so we sadly did not get to venture out on the kayaks. The fire pit and hot tub were perfect for evenings relaxing and hanging out. It was very buggy with lots of mosquitos even with the breeze so would recommend bringing repellant options.

Fantastic stay at the cabin. As advertised. Extremely responsive to questions. Easy check in. Well stocked with kitchen ware and other basic amenities. Would happily stay again.

We loved Chapman Grove Cottage! It was the perfect weekend getaway spot. Very peaceful and private. Very clean, with a fully stocked kitchen that had everything we needed. We loved that the remotes for the outdoor patio and spa lights were labeled, it made things very easy for us. Matt was a very friendly host who gave us all the privacy we needed and even helped us with our car troubles as we were checking out. We would definitely recommend this space and hope to stay again one day!

My husband, 3 year old and our dog had a lovely time at the cottage! It was very walkable to the beach. We loved listening the birds while sitting on the comfy porch. Max was very responsive! Thank you for a fantastic time!

Our host was very friendly and proactive in sharing helpful local tips, which made our stay even smoother. The place was spotless and well-maintained, and the surrounding scenery was absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed our time here — highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay in the cozy lakeside cabin with Volker and Diana. The rustic interior was very clean, and the hosts were incredibly friendly. Since they lived right next door, we had great conversations and could always reach out to them. The fireplace added to the cozy atmosphere, and the fresh eggs from their own chickens were a lovely touch. The location right by the lake was perfect — absolutely quiet with no light pollution. Canoes and kayaks are already available and can be used from the private dock. There's also a small but excellent and very clean grill. We even received a bottle of wine as a gift — such a kind gesture! We especially loved Mali, their friendly dog, who would occasionally visit for some cuddles. A perfect place to relax. 5 stars!

We had such a wonderful time staying at Rowan Cottage! It was my husband and I with our little Boston Terrier and everything was perfect! The place was spotless when we got there and the instructions to check in were very easy to navigate. The place felt brand new. It was just the right amount of space for us. It is a fairly private area and the waters were very peaceful, not a lot of traffic on the water at all! The views from the cottage were amazing - perfect for the morning coffee! Appliances were great, and the washroom was so clean. There were awesome board games and vinyl records to jam to. As well as a Bluetooth speaker to connect. We were never bored! For anyone looking to visit, there are a fair bit of mosquitos so remember bug spray! Overall an amazing experience and highly recommend!

I would say the listing undersells how awesome this place is - The virtually private beach, beautiful sunrise view and complete privacy is unparalleled for the price. The cottage is perfect for a couple on a getaway. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and would absolutely come back. If you go, flip through the history book in the cottage! Thank you! Kyle and Jess

Michel’s place was very clean and nice, situated in a very convenient location. He was a very effective communicator , great host and had an incredible space that was clean and modern. Would definitely recommend his spot for anyone in the Muskoka area.

I visited the A-frame with three of my girlfriends and it was the perfect burnout escape. One of my friends was working remotely while we were there and, when we briefly lost Internet, Amanda was so responsive and helpful. My friends really wanted me to add here how much they appreciated the welcome wine that was left for us. Everything was absolutely perfect, we don't have a single suggestion. My girlfriends and I returned to our busy lives totally refreshed. We would recommend this place (and any other place that Amanda manages because she was just lovely) 1000% and we will be returning!

Nice cabin, which gives a real middle-of-the-woods vibe despite the number of cabins around. We loved and recommend it if you want to have a getaway, but not too far from civilization.

We had an incredible time at this cottage. If we had more time left in Canada we would have planned another visit in the summer.

My girlfriends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The place was exactly as pictured and had lots of charm and personal touches that were very appreciated, including a complimentary bottle of wine, snacks and a lovely personalized welcome sign. The hosts were friendly, responsive and readily available if anything was needed, which it wasn't! We would definitely come back again when visiting the area!

Great views over the water. House was in great shape-very clean and organized. Kitchen is huge and works well. Host communicated well and checked in to make sure things were ok. Only marked it down on value because we were just 2 people. For families etc would be outstanding value-3 full baths! Quiet location and 15 min walk to the harbor.

Beautiful home, awesome view! The tranquility of the place and the amenities made our stay more than perfect. Beautiful terrace, well-appointed, ultra clean spa! The kitchen is super well equipped, we lacked nothing. Danny is a wonderful and proactive host. We will definitely be back on a future stay in Quebec City! Wishlist!

Maureen's log cabin was very peaceful and relaxing. It's surrounded by a beautiful forest and the atmosphere felt very right. Super clean from the inside and the hosts were friendly enjoyable to talk to and gave us a few nice tips.

A nice cottage on the premises of the owners but with full privacy. The cottage is right on the seafront with a nice view over the bay. The cottage is fully equiped and everything is in good working order. The town is about 10 minutes drive away so this is not walkable. Maureen and Bill are very hospitable , give good advice on the area but respect your privacy.
