Cottage holiday rentals in Canal de Bourgogne

spacious, functional and quiet, it is only the hot tub that does not work too much, it's a shame because we had booked here for this criteria.. The owner was sorry which allows us to accept better and leave 5 stars because otherwise everything is fine.

The accommodation is ideal for a family of 4 to 5 people, easy to access thanks to a key box. The kitchen and bathroom are very well equipped, all appliances and utensils are available, as well as paper towels, toilet paper, bath towels, bathrobes... there is even a small first aid kit with bandages, disinfectant, etc. There is also coffee, tea, powdered chocolate, water, milk... Bernadette thought of everything! The spa is a real plus, nothing better after a long 5-hour drive! I highly recommend this accommodation and will return without hesitation for my next stay in Burgundy.

Maximum beautiful accommodation! It was a real stroke of luck... I will certainly come back sometime :) The cottage is so lovingly and beautifully furnished down to the smallest detail. The whirlpool is great and the breakfast was very tasty!

We were a family of six that had just arrived at CDG Airport from both US coasts. We were tired and jet lagged. We got to Catherine's house and felt immediately at home and comfortable. It was a PERFECT landing and resting spot for tired travelers. It is so charming. the layout really worked for us. The surrounding area made for a peaceful walk in the nearby forest. The house met our needs in every possible way!

Very good stay in a really well located house to enjoy the lake and its activities. The terrace with lake view is superb, especially for the sunset! Well-equipped house (plenty of dishes, plancha) and comfortable. We will definitely come back!

Exceptionally peaceful place with wonderful views

A small typical and charming house as we imagined it. Everything was perfect and friendly with good quality bedding... Caroline had planned everything for our arrival with a delicate touch on her part. We were unable to enjoy the garden, which appears bucolic, as the weather was not suitable. We will surely return to discover this magnificent region 😍

We had a great weekend in Bruno and Laurence's beautiful home. We were wonderfully welcomed by our hosts who were always available and very responsive. In addition, we were able to enjoy the superb gardens and the shaded terrace, as well as the fruits and vegetables to be enjoyed directly on site. Our dog also really enjoyed the place. We'll definitely be back.

We enjoyed a thoroughly relaxing and enchanting stay and felt completely at home. The house, spacious garden, and pool were all beautifully presented. It’s a perfect oasis to relax and unwind. Amazing property in adorable little village. Nothing to do in the neighborhood (closes supermarket+/- 15 minute drive) but beautiful nature and amazing peace and quiet. Anne was very kind and helpful always responding within 1 hour!

Loved so much our stay, starting with knowledgeable, amicable, responsive and effective host Erick, who made our stay trouble free while helping hugely with local advise re all things in Burgundy. The house is in top shape, fully renovated with modern design and large open spaces, yet preserving old charm, with great appliances, super clean, and frankly overall pretty luxurious (Erick, you're modest in descriptions, lots of things here to brag about!) Sizable backyard plus another property piece that stretches up to the stream. Excellent walking on picturesque streets on the village, and fantastic scenic rides around. A paradise for culture, nature, and history lovers like us, convenient for our visits to Avalon, Vezelay and Auxerre plus countless old villages and eglises that Erick advised to see. A beautiful place, surrounded by nature, but only a few minutes drive from Dijon, shops, good restaurants and charming vineyards. The accommodation is peaceful and refreshing. We love the countryside and we have found it. The barking of the neighbor's dog was over after a short time and from then on almost only the cooing of pigeons could be heard. The baker around the corner was open in the morning and had very good bread. We were given a folder with detailed information about restaurants and other activities, which was very helpful. So we found a good hotel restaurant and the beautiful weekly market in Joigny, where we were the only tourists. :-) We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend the accommodation.
