Castle holiday rentals in Canal du Midi

Nossa experiência no Château de Bouvées foi incrível. O lugar é história pura, muito bem conservado, decorado e recuperado pelo anfitrião, Yves. Ele, sua família e amigos foram muito agradáveis conosco (os burros também, hahah). A localização do castelo é ótima, permite bonitos passeios de bicicleta nas cercanias, mas para ir ao mercado e fazer compras, um carro se torna interessante. A cozinha é uma das mais bem equipadas que já vimos, onde pudemos preparar nossas refeições e tomar o ótimo café da manhã do anfitrião. Recomendo a todos que possam viver alguns dias no Château de Bouvées.

Excellent logement. Lieu atypique, magnifique et calme. Les hôtes sont très agréables. Il y a également nombres d'activités à faire dans une distance raisonnable. Nous recommandons ce logement !! Merci à Frédéric et son frère.

Belle bâtisse possédant un cachet indéniable et très fraîche l'été. Beau terrain ombragé. Idéalement située au bord de Cérou, à mi-distance entre Saint Martin noble val et Cordes sur ciel. De jolies balades à pied à faire à partir de la location.

Nuestra estancia en el Castillo de David ha sido inmejorable. Vistas al río Tarn, piscina para hacer barbacoa, decoración exquisita y un jardín espectacular. Habitaciones muy amplias y todo lo necesario para vivir. Nos atendió Alexandre, que fue amable y atento en todo momento con nosotros. Muy agradecidos.

My husband and I loved our stay at "Pa-Chai" Villarlong Castle and can't imagine giving it anything less than five stars. If you are thinking of booking, do it, you won't be disappointed. In from Paris, our purpose was to relax and unwind for a long December weekend -- with a fireplace. The setting was perfect. The two story stone apartment with the roaring fire was so cozy. We would also note that the king bed was extremely comfortable and the hot shower had excellent water pressure. The kitchen was fully stocked with beautiful dinnerware and had a supply of local wine that we were able to purchase and drink when our personal supply dwindled. Even in December, the grounds were breathtaking and the location was convenient for visiting Carcassonne and Minerve, the two highlights of our visit. We also recommend Moroccan dinner at L'Arganier in Trebes (but order the pastilla 48 hours in advance). We and our small dog were welcomed warmly by Marlin and are grateful for her hospitality!

Une très belle demeure riche de patrimoine pour se relaxer quelques jours. Que les salons sont beaux avec leur plafonds voûtés! Des magazines qui retracent l'histoire du lieu et de la propriétaire . Une cuisine mise à disposition des hôtes pour pouvoir se régaler d'un repas fait maison sous la tonnelle. Nous nous y sommes très bien sentis.

Un séjour inoubliable, très belle maison, personnes vraiment bienveillantes et disponibles. Je recommande vivement.

Magnifique expérience. Le gîte est très agréable et confortable; parfaitement équipé. Les vues sont très belles. Sébastian est très agréable. J'y retournerais sans hésiter. Un beau domaine recommandé.

Le.Chateau was the perfect place to accommodate our family reunion of 12, including 5 kids. We loved the atmosphere, facilities and location. It's authentic:) We are already planning to book it again next year over the same time!

We felt right at home and warmly welcome at Marianne’s place. We, and the kids had the best time in the beautiful garden - breakfast and Dinners with this spectacular view will stay in our memories forever. Marianne took great care for little details - a bottle of Wine was a great welcome gift after a long travel day. She was always responsive for any questions we had. We can totally recommend this place, the beautiful indoor and outdoor space are exactly like on the pictures- even better! We would love to come back one day!😊 Thank you Marianne for making our holiday so special!

Marie was adaptable to our changed time of arrival and met us on the doorstep as soon as we arrived. Very keen to show us around and show all the facilities like the gas bbq and pool access. Warned us about thunderstorms tripping the electrics and how to reset the trip. Useful as this happened 3 nights in. Nothing was too much trouble and her son was there at checkout. Thoroughly recommend this property.

Genevieve did everything in her power to ensure we had a wonderful experience at her beautiful chateau. The pictures do not do the castle and it’s surroundings justice and the entertainment we hired for the party we had there was superb. I can highly recommend Eric and his band. The rooms are all unique and beautiful and we hosted our 32 guests comfortably. With a combination of romantic suites and family rooms, several dining areas and receptions, a bar and a fab great hall entrance the look and feel of the decor was very much in keeping of a medieval chateau. It’s a wry old castle so it is totally unique and has the aroma of an incredibly old place but the kitchen and linen were all very clean and the chateau has every mod con you could want. The professionally kitted out kitchen made cooking for many a simple pleasure and although the bbq was small (considering the numbers we catered for) it was not a problem with a professional oven to assist. The pool is large with basic furniture housed next to the care takers geet. The caretaker and his wife spoke no English so communication was kept to a minimum. The supermarket and village are a five minute drive away with good local produce and hospitality. We didn’t go sight seeing this time but plan to return in the future where we hope to do so. Spacious, atmospheric property in lovely, friendly village. It sits high up in the village but it is only a 5 minute walk down the hill to the village store. The shop has a really friendly owner who organised us a wonderful wine tasting with charcuterie and cheese. He sells a wide variety of products and has a really good wine cellar of local wines. He also does takeaway pizza on Fridays and Saturdays. The local hotel has a restaurant and supplied us with a takeaway cassoulet. The chateau is well equipped and spacious. Only one room has a shower but all the rest have a roll top bath with shower fitting. The village itself is well situated to explore a number of vineyards and nearby towns and the roads were very quiet.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful chateau. It was very nice of the host to give us a tour of the place, its history, and their family history. We had access to the whole top floor, whereas the family use the remaining floors. Even in December and January, we had some sunny blue sky days. There is a village with several supermarkets and restaurants just 7 minutes away by car which is convenient.

Dekadente Immobilie für einen aussergewöhnlichen genuss von ruhe, idylle und entspannung. Wunderschöne Lage mit Geschichtsträchtigen Dörfern / Städtchen. Gute einkaufsmöglichkeiten, ca. 10min mit dem Auto entfernt. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. War immer erreichbar und konnte immer Auskunft aller art geben. 👍

Nous avons passé un bon séjour en famille. Nous avons profité de la piscine et de la cour intérieure très agréable! La conciergerie du Barbu qui gère l arrivée et le lien sur place était très disponible. Le lieu est vraiment magnifique et nous avons profité des voies de vélos à proximité!

Demeure de charme quoi que les intérieurs soient peu datée mais disposant d’un jardin et d’une vue à couper le souffle. J’ai loué la propriété pour un anniversaire avec une trentaine de convives et j’ai été pleinement satisfait par la location et l’on a pu festoyer et profiter des espaces extérieurs sans être dérangé. Je recommande la propriété si l’on a le goût pour l’ancien et le vintage. L’hôte a été accueillant et disponible.
