Cosy escape in beautiful North Wales.

SamanthaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed here for a wedding up the road and this location was perfect. Communication before our stay was great so we knew exactly how to find the house. David made up feel right at home with some extra food/drink bits that we weren’t expecting, but the Eccles cakes went down a treat! On the listing David mentions their neighbours dog Dave who is a big softy and he wasn’t wrong, he was adorable and loved a head scratch! I would highly recommend staying here :) Thanks for making our stay perfect!

Dee Valley Yurt

LauraRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We had a lovely stay at the yurt, our children loved running wild and free in the garden. You can access the river at the bottom of some steps (although if you have little ones you'll have to go down with them as it's out of sight), ours spent ages down there with nets. The twinkling fairy lights at twilight were gorgeous, and the kids loves the swing and treehouse too. The yurt itself was lovely and clean, and all the dreamcatchers and lights are a nice touch. The weather has been so warm we were worried about the temp inside and although hot in the day, it dropped to a nice temp in the night under the duvet. Thank you for having us Lowri, Bea and family! ✨

Popty Pennant

MonicaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed at Popty Pennant (the Bakehouse) in June. Nick informed us that parts of the settlement can be dated back to the Elizabethan era, and you can certainly see the history of the beautiful area over time. The tiny house is compact with most things you need for a short stay and comes highly recommended for an authentic North Wales experience.

The Shepherd Hut at The Old Police House

PaulRating, 5 stars1 day ago
This ticked the box on every level. Was exactly as photo’d. The host checked in to make sure we were okay via the message service. It was very private and so peaceful. We came to canoe across the aqueduct which was only a 5 minute drive away. We ate out using the recommendations given and we were not disappointed. We also then visited the castle ruins and also Chirk Castle. The hut was clean and had everything we needed, even milk for a cuppa! I highly recommend stopping here. We certainly would again
