Perfect apartment on a quiet street, which is a short stroll from the centre of Funchal. Spacious, modern and spotless accommodation with great views of the sea and the mountains that ring the city. Cristina is a great host: flexible, friendly and responsive. This apartment is the perfect base for a stay in Madeira.

Our stay at Jorge’s place was fantastic and we would highly recommend it to any active travellers. The accommodation was just perfect. We felt safe, comfortable and relaxed when there, although we were mostly out exploring the wonderful island. The parking can be tricky but if you were like us and out from 5am and back at 3pm, parking was never an issue, although tight spaces (I recommend getting a small hire car!). 30-40 minute walk to the centre of Funchal and 15-20 bars on the way! The local bars and restaurants were all good but our favourites were Horta and Mau Fetitio if you want excellent food and service. We wanted to go to Il Basilica but they were fully booked most nights. The day trip to Porto Santo is great, very worthwhile and very relaxing but not a lot going on. We went to Pe Na Agua which was really good. Hiring e-bikes is highly recommended. The mountains reputations speak for themselves. Parking at Arieiro gets busy from 5am and costs €20 for the day. Plan well.

Vasco was a wonderful host. Our only contact was really checkin and checkout process as we had no issues during our entire month stay. The apartment was clean with a well equipped kitchen and is as photographed. We booked this apartment because of the view which really is exceptional! Added benefit of seeing port so we always knew when cruise ships were docked so we could plan accordingly. Location provides easy access to highway in either direction. Comfortable walk to old town but return by bus is recommended. Rental car to tour the rest of the island is also recommended. You do need to be skilled driver as narrow hill roads are no joke. We walked to local Padaria Pastelaria Mariazinha for coffee and pastries. Highly recommend for digital nomads/long term stay. Very quiet neighborhood and always felt safe. We brought earplugs because of previous dog barking comments but never used them. Recommend if you want authentic experience. Had a great stay.

We hebben 10 dagen op Madeira doorgebracht in een mooi appartement. Prima faciliteiten en brandschoon. Een heerlijk terras. Een map met allerlei info over het huis, omgeving, eetgelegenheden etc. We hebben genoten.

Joana is a kind and proactive host, always available. She gave us advice for good restaurants and places to visit :) The appartment is bigger than expected with everything you could ask for. I would definitely recommend Joana‘s place! Small tip: The underground parking space and its entrance are quite narrow so try to get a smaller rental car if possible. Not kmpossible with laeger cars, but less stressfull for sure 😁

Appartamento ampio, luminoso e ben arredato con tre stanze di cui una con bagno esclusivo. Cucina molto fornita. Posizione a ridosso del centro città ed in area ben fornita. Molto apprezzato il garage disponibile nel prezzo

We booked a room with a view and boy did we get a room with a view. With that view and the cleanliness of the room you hardly have to go outside to have a great vacation. But if you don’t want to do that you can also walk to the city center and the boulevard. If you rented a car you get plenty of private and free parking (even with a cat!). The host was a big help and made everything very easy. We are really happy with our stay and can recommend it to everyone!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour chez Gina. L appartement est vraiment très bien très propre et bien aménagé vue magnifique. Seul petit bémol même s il y a taxis et bus fréquents il faut aussi marcher beaucoup donc être en bonne condition physique. Même si nous avons beaucoup marché ce séjour reste extra.

Correu tudo bem, conforme me foi comunicado. Superou as espectativas pela localização e toda a zona envolvente. Já partilhei com amigos e familiares para caso pretendam conhecer a ilha usufruírem desse espaço formidável. Farei todos os possíveis para lá voltar.

Toller Aufenthalt mit Hund ★★★★★ Eugénia und Duarte sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber*innen! Die Unterkunft war perfekt für mich und meine erwachsene Tochter – gemütlich, sauber und in guter Lage. Unser Hund Akiko war zwar kein besonderer "Gast", aber ausdrücklich willkommen, was uns sehr wichtig war. Alles war unkompliziert, und die Kommunikation super freundlich. Gerne wieder!

Very clean apartment in a great location close to the grocery store and the beach. Great view over the water. Really nice large patio with furniture in the back of the apartment as well as a little balcony looking towards the water. Street parking is a little tricky if the beach is really busy, be prepared to walk up some hills. Tiago even put together a list of recommendations for the island. We had a great stay!

Nos vacances n'auraient pas été les mêmes sans le logement d'Igor, qui est agréable, propre, fonctionnel et bien placé. En effet, le centre-ville est à deux pas, la voie rapide à 2 ou 3 km, Funchal et l'aéroport à moins d'1/2h de route et la vue du balcon est bien agréable. Nous avons choisi ce logement par hasard et nous avons été ravis de nous trouver dans cette petite ville qui nous as conquis. Thanks for everything, Igor, and all the best.

We stayed in this apartment as a family of four, and it offered plenty of space and comfort. Amenities like the washing machine, dishwasher, and fast internet made our stay especially convenient. The location is excellent—close to Funchal and attractions on Madeira’s eastern side—and although the apartment faces a busy road, noise was minimal at night. We would happily stay here again.

Everything was great. The place was super clean, the view from the balcony is gorgeous, there were extra towels, hygiene products and multiple pillows, the kitchen was fully equipped too. Hosts clearly know what they're doing.

Spędziliśmy w tym mieszkaniu tydzień, wszystko nam się podobało od lokalizacji po udogodnienia takie jak pralka,suszarka,ręczniki plażowe, piekarnik. Super kontakt z właścicielem ,szybko odpowiadał na nasze pytania. Dziękujemy za miły prezent powitalny. Jeśli wrócimy na Maderę to z pewnością wybierzemy Machico i ten apartament.

Die Unterkunft überzeugt mit der traumhaften Aussicht- beim Frühstück und Abendessen haben wir die Aussicht sehr genossen! Leider ist die nahe gelegene Hauptstraße lauter als erwartet. Die Unterkunft ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet, besonders die Waschmaschine haben wir sehr gerne bei unserem längeren Aufenthalt genutzt, in der Küche lässt es sich auch etwas ausgiebiger kochen. Die Wohnung ist ansprechend eingerichtet, an manchen Stellen jedoch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Wohnung liegt außerhalb der Stadt, man sollte auf jeden Fall einen Mietwagen haben, jedoch erreicht man somit einige tolle Wanderungausgangspunkte mit dem Auto etwas zügiger.

Absolutely Stunning Apartment with Unbeatable Views! This was, without a doubt, the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the absolutely stunning apartment. It was incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beautiful location was a real highlight, boasting amazing sea views from the balcony that we enjoyed every single day. The lovely swimming pools on site were a fantastic bonus, perfect for a refreshing dip. Our hosts, Mariana and Ricardo, were so welcoming and helpful, always on hand to answer any questions and offer local tips. The great wifi was a practical plus, and we loved that the apartment was within walking distance to the main shops, making everything so convenient. We had a wonderful stay in this lovely home in Madeira! The place was spotlessly clean and located in a great area, perfect for exploring the island. One of the highlights was waking up in the master bedroom to a stunning view of the ocean. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, which made it easy to cook meals when we felt like staying in. Maria was an exceptional host – kind, responsive, and always ready to help with any information or recommendations we needed. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Madeira. Die Wohnung ist hell und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Die Tiefgarage ist geräumig. Super, daß eine Waschmaschine und Spülmaschine da war. Iri hat sich viel Mühe gegeben und uns auf ihrem Weg am nächsten Tag nochmal zum Flughafen mitgenommen , da wir Probleme mit der Autovermietung hatten. Ein toller Aufenthalt

Logement fonctionnel dans une résidence sécurisée avec Parking. Un petit balcon est très appréciable. L’autre est d’un accueil des plus chaleureux avec beaucoup de recommandations et de conseils de site exceptionnels à visiter. Attention deux lits séparés dans la chambre.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft war hervorragend. Es war alles vorhanden und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Daniel è un host davvero cordiale e attento. Ci ha seguito dal primo all'ultimo momento, fornendo consigli sulla zona. L'appartamento è davvero spazio e ampio, con due graziosi balconi perfetti per una colazione all'aperto!
