Lovely place to stay in a perfect location, quiet and peaceful with easy beach access but also easy enough to get to Funchal and other areas, ideal if you have a car too

The accommodation was beautifully located in a very quiet location with a breathtaking view. Everything was clean and furnished with love so that you can only feel comfortable from the first moment. It had everything you need, we also loved the many kitchen utensils and the grill, which we used every day. The terrace with whirlpool, lounge, loungers and table were the highlight. We spent a lot of time in the accommodation because we felt so comfortable. Calheta beach is 5 minutes by car and highly recommended. We also found the private parking lot great. Bruno and Maria are very accommodating and also asked how we are and if we need anything. The location was perfect for us, very quiet, lots of privacy and yet we can get everywhere by car. Ideally located accommodation for hiking at the tip of San Lourenço, the environment is very quiet. You can go to town on foot. The apartment is clean and well-equipped. The mattress and pillows are very hard!

It has been sometime since I stayed in a real home-y and cosy house like Betty's. Our whole group (two families with small children ) was very pleasantly surprised by this beautifully decorated home. There were many essentials as well as some offerings by the host readily available. The location(although not very close to the historic center) is fantastic as it is possible to walk to some famous rock pools and a beach, as well as many restaurants, a mall and a supermarket. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

Manny and his son met us in the evening to welcome us to the apartment and run through the equipment and everything that we might need over our stay. The apartment was a ' breath of fresh air'...quiet and cool with the fantastic balcony....but less than 2 minutes to all the places of interest shops bars etc .. Ir was my first Airbnb abroad and others will have a lot to live up to! Manny checked in...but gave us privacy and the chance to unwind...canm0t recommended it too highly!

Isabel is a super sweet hostess. She is very helpful. Apartment is also very nice, 2 clean bedrooms, bathroom is in order, very nice. It's nice that the apartment has its own parking space. You have to be careful when driving in because you have to go up a little bit, but all of Madeira is hilly 😂

We absolutely loved staying in Felipe’s place! He was very helpful and communicated great with us! He also left lots of fruit for us when we checked in! The place was fully stocked with many things that we would need during our stay. It is in a perfect location and you can walk to the town easily. We would love to come back!

We are a family of 4 traveling from the US and this house was beautiful and well cared for. We loved the area- walking distance to the beach- grocery and restaurants. The view and the outside space were amazing. The house was incredibly equipped and Nuno was a welcome host. We hope to be back!!

Hello, José is a welcoming host, his home is very clean and comfortable. We arrived at night and were treated to sandwiches with cake, some eggs, fruits and vegetables, and cold milk. It was nice to stay in this accommodation. 😊

We really enjoyed the accommodation! (family of 6 people) This one is well located, a beautiful view, very peaceful and private place. It is very well equipped, heated pool (for €30/day), barbecue available, very spacious and clean. Which makes it a great value. We recommend it!

I can't express how beautiful and peaceful this place was. It was worth every penny, you don't have to worry about anything. Everything is so well equipped, so clean, swimming pool with amazing views to Funchal. I come to Madeira every summer and it was at its best. I had my parents first time here and they absolutely loved it too. Maria was very kind and helpful from the time we booked the place. Hopefully to come back soon again.

Carla was a wonderful host! She provided detailed instructions, was responsive to our questions, and the apartment was very well appointed. The kitchen had everything you could need! Enjoying coffee on the deck, overlooking the water, was an unforgettable experience.

The accommodation convinces with the fantastic view - at breakfast and dinner we enjoyed the view very much! Unfortunately, the nearby main street is louder than expected. The accommodation is equipped with everything you need, especially the washing machine we were very happy to use during our longer stay, in the kitchen you can also cook a little more extensively. The apartment is attractively furnished, but in some places it is a bit outdated. The apartment is outside the city, you should definitely have a rental car, but you can reach some great hiking starting points by car a little faster.

The great wifi was a practical plus, and we loved that the apartment was within walking distance to the main shops, making everything so convenient. We loved our week at Nuno's place! The apartment was lovely and bright, we loved to soak in the sun on the terrace. Nuno is very caring host :) Madeira's air is wonderful, and with the terrace door open, the apartment was always filled with fresh air- so good to sleep like that. The terrace is not too windy as well! Just the perfect breeze blowing by. Definitely would recommend the apartment!

We stayed for a week with 4 people in a very nice apartment. We enjoyed the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Ideal for 2 couples. We highly recommend this clean and tastefully decorated accommodation. We stayed in this apartment as a family of four, and it offered plenty of space and comfort. Amenities like the washing machine, dishwasher, and fast internet made our stay especially convenient. The location is excellent—close to Funchal and attractions on Madeira’s eastern side—and although the apartment faces a busy road, noise was minimal at night. We would happily stay here again.

We enjoyed the individuality of the apartment and the outdoor space . It is up a hill but all good exercise ! The bus stop for the ride to Monte Palace Gardens is close by and makes a lovely day out . Carlos is welcoming and the apartment is lovely and clean .
