Farmstay holiday rentals in Cantabria

This charming studio cabin is situated in the foothills of Cambria . Beaches are really close by 10 - 25 minutes , great to explore the coastline especially east of Santander . Nice restaurants by the coast but we found the best restaurant serving high quality Spanish food just down the road in Suesa called « bonabo » so friendly , but the homemade food was just so good. The cabin is basic but well situated. Shower and toilet very small. The garden surrounding is excellent for dogs, there are animals in the fields surrounding the cabin, our dog wasn’t worried about them and didn’t worry them. A lovely little place to go.

Our stay has been wonderful!!! The site is a pass!!!!! you can't describe with words what your eyes see.. the house is an authentic past and of an unbeatable quality, it shows with the affection that they have done it, you do not miss anything of your kitchen and that is super important but Isabel has been better than all that.. leave your intimacy but always aware that you feel your best and gives you a lot of ideas to do during the days, we will come back for sure!!!! thank you very much Isabel.

Monika’s place was lovely. It was large and very comfortable. It is surrounded by nature. We had donkeys come up the fence every day. It had a very large terrace. Monika was very helpful. We loved the place. It is remote and quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is cosy, very clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need. The view is absolutely stunning. the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Whether you’re enjoying a quiet morning coffee or watching the sunset, the scenery adds something really special to the experience. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and comfortable getaway. Would definitely stay here again!

The place is located in a prime area as the surroundings are really beautiful, with a stunning view. The house is very nice and the garden and the barbecue area one pass, it is the definition of being surrounded by nature.

A stay outside of time, a magical place where you can rediscover yourself, calm, peace and harmony reign. Maria and Nacho are wonderful hosts, who accompany you and are there for any need, leaving you and respecting your space and rest at all times. Teo illuminates the entire valley with his light, and there you can run around his fields and bathe in the refreshing river near the cabin. Thank you Nacho, thank you Maria and thank you TEO.

The house with a very good location, nearby supermarkets, restaurants, gas stations, communication with the main roads. Highly recommended to go on vacation with family and friends including the 5 little ones who were there. They had a great time. You have large rooms, 2 large bathrooms one with bathtub for the little ones, an enclosed and independent gazebo in case the little ones sleep, the older ones enjoy talking. In our case we were 4 couples in big cars and we were able to keep all the cars perfectly which is one more peace of mind. I provide us with 2 sets of keys that always come very well because being a place for so many people so you can go in groups and each group have keys to access. The hosts are very attentive, kindly providing us with information of places to eat outside, although the house has a spacious kitchen with everything you need for the day to day including dishwasher and a washing machine. Highly recommended

Incredible house with garden and pool. Super friendly hosts. They recommended places to go, walks, restaurants... Always super attentive. The house is amazing for disconnecting. This is a secluded area surrounded by land. Fenced garden for the dog and swimming pool. Perfect if you want peace of mind, especially to be with the dog. We'll be back!!

We have had a wonderful few days, it is a place where there is a lot of tranquility and you can enjoy the landscapes and nature. The cottage has everything, it lacks nothing, the location is very good since you are very close to many places of interest such as San Vicente de la Barquera, Cabezón de la Sal, the caves of Soplao, etc... We were two people and 2 dogs and we enjoyed a lot, especially our dogs since there is a private garden and it is quite large. The truth is that we were very happy in Manuel's house, we hope to return soon!

Beautiful cabin, stunning location, spotlessly clean

A wonderful experience from the first moment. The host was incredibly friendly and understanding. Our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive until 11pm, but he welcomed us without hesitation, with a smile and total disposition. Throughout the stay she was aware of us, always available for anything we needed. He offered us very useful local recommendations that greatly improved our experience in the area. In addition, it had the beautiful detail of leaving us a typical sweet welcome that made us feel right at home. Without question, an attention of 10. We would do it again without thinking!

We had a great weekend at the blue house! The management was easy at all times and the place met our expectations. Among all the positive things, we'd like to highlight that the rooms were tastefully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. In addition, the house was very well equipped, with everything you need to be comfortable.

We had a very nice stay with Jasper & Ana. They are very friendly and were always there when we needed them or had questions about things to see. We also had some very nice chat in the evening. The house and the garden are very beautiful, peaceful and relaxing ; perfect to enjoy with family or friends. We'll definitely come back !

We stayed at Selina's house for about 10 days. As they spent the most identified days with the house, and in the end, it feels longing to leave. Selina was attentive at all times to some small incidents we found. The house and its surroundings are wonderful, the interior transports us to the past, the house is not for people of modern tastes but for those who enjoy the atmosphere that breathes the house. Selina has been doing home renovations adapting it to current life. I think we'll do the experience again

The house is lovely and Antonio is an incredibly helpful host giving us lots of information. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great for us so the views weren't as beautiful as the pictures. I would say if you're looking for peace and quiet the house is perfect, but to do things other than hiking, you will need to do a fair bit of driving.

Dario was a great host, very satisfied with his attention and accommodation. Only one comment, we happened to visit on days that weather was getting warm during the day, but cool at night and we couldn't turn on A/C in our unit since it requires swapping building unit mode of operation from heat to A/C to all apartments. We just had to open the windows at night and were good. Dario did what he could to accommodate us. Overall we are very satisfied with this stay. Thank you Dario.

Beautiful house, very nice. The view of the valley is breathtaking. Love the area, very natural. Beautiful hikes to do (bring a sweater or even a rain jacket). Bilbao is 1 hour 15 minutes by car, we highly recommend it. The house is super equipped, divided into 2 apartments, connected by a large kitchen open to the terrace (where we were captivated by the many vultures flying high above our heads). Super nice vacation. ❤️

Either the location or the cabin are worth the trip, put them together and the stay is amazing. The location has great views, has a nice private garden where our dogs could run free. Hiking trails next to the cabin or a small drive away. The cabin itself is very cozy, the fireplace was lit for us when we arrived and the master bedroom was warmed as well. Jose is an amazing host as well, gave lots of local information and was super helpful when we were in a pinch. I cannot recommend this place enough.

We enjoyed a three night stay in this beautiful house in a stunning rural location. The house is charming, comfortable, full of character and has many seating and dining areas. A perfect location for getting away from it all with loved ones. Our dog was very welcome and loved it there too. Wonderful helpful host.
