Holiday rentals with lake access in Cantanhede

We were very comfortable in Gilberto's place. It's a spacious house, the beds are very comfortable and everything was very clean. Gilberto and Rosa are a charm, very friendly and helpful. Her house is in the same estate but independently a house from another and privacy. The only "but" that I would put is that two windows give for a pass area that is covered and cannot be opened for ventilation as it does not face the outside. The bathroom is very comfortable, with a very spacious shower and like the rest of the house very clean. The pool great, our kids were delighted. They gave us delicious tomatoes from their huerta, Rosa made us a cake and the children were eating strawberries from the orchard. It's definitely a place we'd go back to because the whole family was very comfortable, and the hosts are lovely.

We loved the house , we went to Family and we enjoy every corner. In addition to all the history and memory that the house represents , it stays in a great location, we need to divide it with the Touristas who stay The area of the kitchen and bathrooms renovated and equipped . Even with a little cloudy days and some rain we enjoy a lot and We have fun in Family.

I had a wonderful stay at Cândido and Gonçalo’s place! The location is super quiet and peaceful, with a gorgeous view of the mountains and countryside. The house itself is a charming, typical schist house. Very clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. My favorite spot was definitely the big terrace. Perfect for relaxing on the hammock, taking in the mountain views, and listening to the birds. Cândido and Gonçalo were amazing hosts. They very attentive and great at communicating. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape from city life, this is the place!

We arrived and in felt like home. My daughter's loved the special cake that Marta left for us upon arrival. The house is well equipped with everything you need and more. The bathtub was a favorite, and the balcony was a wonderful place to relax and people watch. The beach is only steps away, along with places to grab a snack. We used the bikes for a fun ride and my daughter loved the game room area to read and do crafts. Something for everyone in a picture perfect location. The entire home was impeccable. Thank you Marta for your warm hospitality and attention to detail.

Polliana and I were very grateful to Raul and Palmeira for their unparalleled hospitality - excellent, kind and welcoming. The house is the wonder of Montemor: it has everything that is authentic in a Portuguese house in the smallest details. Montemor-o Velho is a very quiet location. From its imposing castle, we see pleasant landscapes where absolute calm reigns. Every day the birds greet us as the bells ring. It is within driving distance from Coimbra, Figueira da Foz, Leiria and Aveiro, which are very interesting cities to visit. The kittens in the house are very cuddly, friendly and discreet. We want to come back in the spring or summer to enjoy another of this charming place!

We loved our stay at Casa do Mondego. Very spacious house, with excellent amenities and a breathtaking view! Everything is very clean! The house has a little corner for the children that is a spectacle. My boys loved it! I highlight the friendliness of D. Catarina, who was immediately available for whatever was needed!

This place was so magical. A big group of us came to stay for a half marathon in Aveiro and it was the perfect weekend - the pool was fabulous, the pond was so meditative, the sunrises were beautiful. The rooms were all super comfortable (3 of them en-suites plus additional shared bathrooms) and the kitchen was great to cook in. We were going to have lunch in Aveiro after the race but decided to head back to chill by the pool and have a bbq because it’s such a relaxing place. Plenty of space for everyone. We even had to stay an extra night because of the nationwide blackout and João and his family were so kind and accommodating - in the end we were so grateful we got to spend an extra night in this wonderful place! Can’t recommend highly enough and would love to come back in future.

My family very much enjoyed this unique and calm location in a refurbished mill house. There is a boardwalk across the road that brings you to the village. David was responsive and helpful. Would gladly return.

The space is in a great location. Everything was perfect.

The apartment was clean, modern and spacious and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. Several windows gave great views of the gondolas on the canal. Light filled the apartment during tne day but highly effective blackout blinds made sleeping at night a pleasure. We didn't have a car but everything was within walking distance. Walking back and forth to the train station took about 20 minutes each way. The bus stop to catch the public bus to the beach at Costa Nova is just a short walk from the apartment. Both Ely and Fatima were friendly, responsive and helpful. We would love to return some day.

A charming accommodation on top of a hill with a lovely view overlooking the city. Sophia welcomed us warmly and we had a comfortable two night stay.

Great location to explore the beach and waterfront

The apartment corresponds 100% to the description, is very clean, spacious and it lacks nothing. The location is great, in the middle of the colorful fishermen's cottages, including free parking in front of the door. A great accommodation that we would like to warmly recommend. Thank you Carlos, for preparing the port wine and the ovos moles!
