Located near the historical town Silves, in a area with beautiful nature surrounding it. It has a NATURAL SWIMMING POOL, swim and relax in the clean swimming area while watching hovering dragonflies, butterflies and all the magic of a natural swimming pool. In 2015 the house was completely renovated with an extension built using straw bales that keeps the house cool in the summer an warm in the winter. The house includes an open kitchen and living room, a 11 m2 mezanine for sleeping, an outside shower, compost toilet in a 5000 m2 forest garden with granit boulders, natural structures, sculptures and chillout places.

Foal Retreat

Refúgio das Poldras is located in Vilar de Viando, right on the banks of the Cabril River, one of the cleanest rivers in the region. Excellent for bathing, swimming, or simply walking along more than 2 km of the Cabril River. It is located about 2 km from the center of the village if you want to walk along the Roman road. The bungalow features a double bed with a unique view of the river, a kitchenette for light meals, a bathroom with shower, and a suspended deck.

Surrounded by nature, hammocks in our cork oak forest invite you to relax and our own lake invites you to swim. Two restaurants and a bar are a 5-minute walk away. Nearby small fishing villages such as Carrapateira, Vila do Bispo, Aljezur or Lagos are worth a visit.
