Barn accommodation in Canton of Bern

We enjoyed being in the heart of this valley in a good place to live. Sophie is very attentive and André produces a good sourdough bread and pies that we tasted with the fondues. We would highly recommend this place that can accommodate a family.

The accommodation was clean and it had enough space for us 8 people. The kitchen is super equipped with everything you need. Instructions were clear and simple. Sandra always responded quickly when we had a question and she even found a nearby bratwurst stand for us and documented it with pictures. Thank you very much for that! It is a quiet place, which we were also looking for. What should be specified in more detail is where the disposal for the garbage in the village is. But that's also the only thing we could "complain about". Thank you very much for letting us come by. All the best.

The accommodation is a very lovingly renovated cottage from an old barn, as is typical for the Lötschental. The pictures give a good impression of it. Bright and very spacious and equipped with everything you need. There were only two of us, but even for four there is enough of everything (e.g. dishes, cutlery, space). Bakery and pub (Dorfkeller) are close by. We did not meet Ole and Silvia personally, but communication was always quick and easy and self-check-in via the key box was convenient because we could not determine our arrival time in advance. With the guest card, which is valid for every booked day, you get great discounts (e.g. bus, gondola, museum, mini golf free of charge). Also recommended are the audio tours in the villages. We were particularly pleased with the personal welcome :-)

We were cross-country skiing and enjoyed the location right by the train station and nearby trails. The place is very nice and practical! In the large garage, in addition to the car, there is also space for skis and sleighs. For our 3 year old it also had many toys and books to discover... We will be happy to come back...

A huge thank you to Sophie and André for their hospitality! We had a wonderful extended weekend with friends (4 adults and 4 children) in their great accommodation. Everything was perfect: a very clean, comfortable, perfectly equipped house and designed to make everyone feel good. We immediately feel at home there! Sophie and André are lovely hosts, very available, and responsive. The location is ideal for discovering this beautiful region, between walks, nature, and small local treasures. We all loved it, young and old! We recommend this place without hesitation and will return with great pleasure. Thanks again for everything!

The chalet was beautiful and the views were breathtaking. Very spacious and clean. It was so helpful to have a washer and dryer right in the house. It was relaxing and peaceful. It is about a 20 minute walk to the train station/town which you need to factor in, but Paul the driver was amazing and accommodating and those 1x/daily transfers helped on early mornings or later dinners, and especially when arriving and departing and we had all our bags. It was a beautiful place to stay !

Absolutely everything about this spot is perfection! We wanted to experience a small town in the farmlands/hills of Switzerland, that had close proximity to other areas we wanted to explore. Doris and Gery’s place was a haven! Such a beautiful apartment, with everything you could possibly need. It was so peaceful with the sound of sheep/cow bells ringing in the background, a quiet community, and the sunsets and alpine glow was gorgeous. The train station is easily walkable and the town has everything you need as well. Doris and Gery were gracious and kind hosts. We will be back!

We spent a wonderful Pentecost weekend for two in the Spycher. The accommodation was very spacious, but beware of the lower beams. The wood creates a pleasant atmosphere with the direct & indirect lighting. It has something adventurous with toilet/shower and kitchenette outside. Angela was a great host and we can only recommend the accommodation. We will definitely come back ourselves. Top Weekend! Regards, Ana

Sarah was incredibly kind and helpful! She always responded promptly and helped us with all our requests! The place is really spacious, new and modern. Absolutely recommended for families, even with very young children. The bathroom is huge and the kitchen is very well stocked. We'd love to come back in the future.

Everything was wonderful. It’s a place I would love to stay again when I visit Switzerland next time.

A beautiful, large house and very tastefully furnished. But the terrace was our absolute highlight! Even in the rain you can linger outside. However, the house is not very suitable for holidays without a car. The post bus stops right in front of the house, but it only runs on weekdays, three times in the morning, once at noon and once in the evening. Sylvain and his family are very attentive and generous hosts. Warm thanks for your trust🌞!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sarah's place. The apartment was very comfortable for a family of five. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the bedrooms were spacious with plenty of storage space.
