The cottage is about a 5 minute drive to town, so you have the advantage of being peacefully out in the country enjoy the dark night sky full of stars. There are 3 AC window units in the Cottage, the Living room, the Master and the Kitchen, the house easily cools to 70 degrees on a hot day.

The River House on the Blanco

PLEASE NOTE: due to the ongoing drought, large sections of the Blanco river are dry, including ours! The River House is a stone house set above the Blanco river among huge oak trees. From the quaint, screened entry porch to the large deck with oak trees rising through it, the River House is a relaxing space for you to while away the hours. Kick back with your favorite beverage, put something on the grill and relax to the sounds of nature. And the stars are awesome!

River Roost is a family vacation spot on the lake that sleeps 6. It is 3 miles off Interstate 35, located in a quiet neighborhood with access to 50 feet of waterfront. It is a quick trip to downtown New Braunfels with features such as Schlitterbahn waterpark, tubing, antique and grocery stores, department stores, and a great selection of restaurants.
