Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Cape Town City Centre

Stayed for a month with wife and kids. Excellent location. walkable to Woolworths for groceries. Many restaurants and bars nearby for a night out. BBQ grill in the backyard for a night in. Rooms are comfortable. AC heating and cooling work. Looks like the photos. Many kitchen appliances and amenities for cooking include several spices. Lots of options for coffee, instant, drip, press, Nespresso. Regular scheduled cleaning and gardening. Prompt host responses for any issue. Very quiet and narrow street. 2 parking spots. Completely dark at night (use your phone flashlight when walking at night). Strong door and safety features. Close proximity to UCT satellite campus with shuttle to main campus. Excellent for a long-term visitor. will stay again.

This home is just that, a rustic home away from home. With facilities every house should have. The added whistling kettle was the cherry on top each day when I needed a cup of tea. One image needs updating as it shows an old fridge when there’s a massive chic fridge. The lounge fireplace has a way of warming the whole lounge area making it cozy. The reading nook is just the most beautiful cutest space there is in the longing area. It is near a small business centre with Woolies, Clicks and Pick n Pay. And a short takeout delivery time for most takeout places (nuri sushi is a must). This property exceeded my expectations and Mikhaela was very helpful and responded in short turnaround times and was always ready to help. I would definitely stay there again.

This property ticked all the boxes for us. From the views of Table Mountain to the ocean without being in the hustle and bustle of the city. So close to great local restaurants, V&A Waterfront, Camps Bay, Sea Point. The house was spacious, beds really comfortable, bathrooms clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc if we wanted to cook for ourselves. Security system, electric gate and parking inside the property made for a stress less stay. I will be back as this home is a gem.

My group and I had an amazing stay at Russell's place in Capetown. The place was beautiful and had everything we could need for our 5 day stay. What stood out the most though was Russell's hospitality! He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Thank you Russell for your kindness. We loved our stay here while we were visiting Cape Town. It has an amazing view of the ocean and a wonderful outdoor space to enjoy it. The house was extremely clean and well-stocked for our stay, and Naomi was very kind and attentive. There is plenty of space for anywhere from a couple to a large family to stay. We will definitely book this Airbnb again on our next trip to Cape Town!

Our family of 6 stayed at Sally’s home for a family reunion- we had a fabulous time! The home is so clean and spacious. The kitchen was wonderful and Brenda is so kind and helpful. The views of the ocean and mountain are stunning! We hope to stay here again in the future!

My favorite place, the interior design is mind blowing, absolutely love the colors. The house is so spacious with balconies and rooftop.. Had a great time there.. Love the list of local recommendations with closing time. Host has always been very friendly and helpful.. Thanks a lot 🙏🏼

I spent a week at Katy's place with my teenage daughter in April 2015. We really enjoyed the location, central and easy walking distance to restos, coffees and grocery shops. Driving to the Waterfront was less than 10 min by Uber. The apartment was great, secure, with tasteful decoration (was featured on the cover page of House & Leisure magazine, nice read !). Plenty of natural light through windows with amazing views of Table Mountain & Lion's Head, and more than ample space for the 2 of us when I needed to work (daughter particularly enjoyed her nook in the comfy sofa seat upstairs). Please note that the apartment may not be suitable for those with smaller children though (stairs to bedroom do not have a guard rail which would be risky). Would most definitely come back again.

Amelio was a very responsive host. He was quick to answer any questions and offer help when needed. The wine was a lovely touch. The endless views were amazing. Would happily stay again.

Zak was very responsive and met us for check in and check out. The place was exactly as described and was great value for money for the 9 days we stayed. No complaints

Had a very nice and comfortable stay. Easily felt at home and most of the places I went to were easy to go on foot. Great communication from the host and all instructions were more than clear. Will definitely be staying again if I will spend time in Cape Town again.

What a beautiful home away from home! I absolutely loved everything in Justine & Terence’s place, so tastefully designed. It is extremely spacious and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The personal guide is detailed and has great tips for exploring the area. It’s not often you find such a calming oasis within walking distance to great restaurants, shops and the company gardens or parks. Justine is a fantastic host, very quick to communicate and provide all the info I needed for a seamless self check-in. I highly recommend a stay here!

Washer dryer in unit were exactly what I needed. Pierre was an extremely helpful host and it was so easy to book Ubers here and receive courier packages. Would recommend as a home base to enjoy Cape Town!

Janina was a very helpful and responsive host—she always got back to me quickly, which I really appreciated. The apartment itself was generally great, though there were a few things that could be improved. It was extremely hot during my stay and unfortunately the air conditioning wasn’t working, but fans were provided which did help a bit. Other than that, I can’t fault either the host or the apartment—overall a pleasant stay

Stayed at Leo’s place for 4 nights. Timon was assisting us throughout. Very helpful. Always replied to our any questions at any time. We weren’t able to operate the heater, so he came down specially to show us and made a video also got an extra electric heater if we still can’t operate the manual one. Loved the place. It’s just perfect for 2 people and has everything you need for a comfortable stay with gorgeous views and near to all the restaurants and supermarkets We had a great time :)

Staying here was lovely. The view of the city is gorgeous and the apartment itself is stunningly decorated to give an at home feel. Which it does so easily. The plants in and around the apartment give it such a nice feel too. Overall it was lovely to stay here. walking distance from everything you could need too. Desk staff are super friendly and helpful

Fantastic views. Comfortable bedrooms and great ablutions. Close to many restaurants and for sports mad world class promenade to run awesome swimming pool to train and great cycling routes. Happy space for the fat triathletes and people who love sea sunsets

I couldn’t have asked for a better location, it was conveniently close to safe walking areas, shops, a beautiful park & restaurants yet was in a relatively quiet road. The apartment is beautifully appointed with absolutely everything you need, especially in the kitchen. It’s light & airy with stunning views. You feel secure & totally at ease there. Very obliging staff, in all, everything to recommend it.

We were very close to the CTICC which really suited us from out of town, and being centrally situated allowed us to stock up or eat out. As an older person the non straight forward AirBnB emails with passwords etc is a pain, and it would have been much more pleasant to actually meet our hostess. The home itself is very warm and welcoming and certainly a choice for any future visit.
