The Tree House Is an Idyllic Family Getaway Nestled in the Valley Behind Table Mountain.

The Tree house offers so much enjoyment for the entire family. Wake up to breath taking mountain views, the sound of bird song and watch squirrels play in the trees. Start your day by enjoying a cup of Espresso and let us take care of your laundry to maximise your play time. The Tree House is child friendly with a big play area for the kids so that parents can sit back and relax on the swing bench, enjoy the Jacuzzi or go out on an adventure in the area! The Treehouse is located in the heart of the Constantia wine route and surrounded by kid friendly restaurants. The beach is a 5 minute ride and closest shop only 1.7 km from the house. There is a young family with kids (6&7 years old) living in the main house upstairs, but the large exclusive and private guesthouse , garden and Jacuzzi downstairs is for your private use!#kidsparadise The Tree House is a large double story wooden home nested in the trees (500 square meters for entire house and 1500 square meters for the property). The bottom floor is operating as a separate house or a guest house and is exclusively rented out for guests. This is your private space. The space includes your own fully equipped kitchen. With the guests private balcony they can enjoy dinner amongst the trees and pop outside to gaze at the stars with each room’s private entrance. Master bedroom has a queen size bed with full view of the mountains and garden with block out curtains to sleep in late or open them up to the sun making it's way over the mountain and lighting up the forestry garden. The second bedroom is large and has 2 beds that can be substituted for a king size bed. The bathroom has a big shower and a heated towel rail. The open plan lounge is large with a dining table and kitchen area that opens up onto a balcony and garden. The large glass doors may be pulled fully to the one side, a perfect place to kick back and relax. A Snooza is also available on request that can accommodate another person. The Snooza can be used as a chair during the day and open up to a single bed at night. That way we can accommodate 5 people. Please note that there will be a charge of R499 per person after 4 guests. Please note we are living on the top floor but you have your own suite downstairs that is completely separate and private The cleaning fee includes the use of the washing machine and we will hang and dry the clothes, but ironing is an extra charge or make use of the iron in your suite. *We have a VW Polo for hire exclusively for Airbnb guests. It’s like lying in a heated forest pool. We do charge R199 per day to warm the jacuzzi up and keep it heated up cost us R200 per day. Should you want to make use of the jacuzzi let us know so that we can heat it up 9 hours before your arrival. A daily fee of R199 per day will be added to your stay should you wish to have the jacuzzi turned on every day. Please note that you can you the jacuzzi as is for NO extra charge, it’s just to heat the jacuzzi that will cost R200. We find that one can heat up the jacuzzi and it keeps warm for several days so no need to keep the heaters on all day every day. But that is entirely up to each family how hot they want the jacuzzi. Guests have their own private entrance. Each room has its own entrance and balcony. Guests can make use of our garage for parking as well as ample parking next to the rooms. Please let me know if you need a car and we can arrange that. My city bus routes link up in Hout Bay making touring this city very easy. The big red busses come right past our house making it accessible and a wonderful way to sight see the city from a rooftop bus. Uber can also be arranged easily. Feel spoilt by the elegance of yesteryear in the 1800’s manor of Mount Pleasant. Dine al fresco beside your private pool at this historic property nestled under Table Mountain. Unwind with a glass of Cape wine in the gracious and romantic guest suite with its own vine-strewn garden, or curl up in an armchair by the grand stone fireplace. The spacious and airy open-plan guest suite is ideal for couples and young families. Centrally located in leafy Newlands, within walking distance of the famous sports stadiums, UCT and SACS. The house has been recently renovated and is a family home, and the property of Mount Pleasant is an interesting slice of Cape Town’s history, dating back to the 18th Century. The guest suite is ideal for a couple or family and consists of: - one large open plan bedroom-lounge (sleeps 3 - 4) - a full kitchen - bathroom with bath, shower, double vanity - a private lap pool - private garden looking up to Table Mountain and Devil’s Peak. In summer, lazing beside the sunny pool, dining outside and having a traditional South African “braai” (barbecue) are a must and in winter the roaring fire, full kitchen and TV provide a warm retreat. The bedroom-lounge is open plan with separate kitchen and bathroom. King size bed, a single sofa bed and a further single bed set up in the suite for 4th guest if required. Cable TV and WiFi are included. On offer are bottles of wine and drinks, laundry and cleaning services. Other extras which may be available are: use of the baronial dining room for meetings (seating for up to 18 people) or special occasions (daytime only). The suburb of Newlands itself has many attractions, but to enjoy the full offering of Cape Town we recommend hiring a car or taking a taxi (Uber or call-taxi). Private guides or drivers will also collect directly from the premises. Airport transfers/shuttles/taxis are available at the airport or by booking through a transfer company. POOL Important: the pool is not protected with a net or fence and is immediately adjacent to the suite so please be careful and we do NOT recommend the suite for infants/children who cannot swim. PETS We can accommodate pets on request, but be aware there are resident dogs. EXTRAS Extras, such as wine, can be paid in cash or through the SnapScan App. MEETINGS & FUNCTIONS The baronial dining room can be booked for special meetings and daytime functions (rates/availability on request). This ideally located apartment with snappy wifi speed has been stylishly appointed with an open-plan design enhancing the light & bright feel perfect for remote work or a holiday getaway. The quiet bedroom has a large king bed while the sofa pulls-out into a comfy queen bed in the living room. Longer bookings usually include at least one cleaning per week to freshen-up the apartment for you. Relax, explore, rinse, repeat! Recently renovated and stylishly appointed with open plan kitchen/lounge that feels bright and spacious (62m^2). The apartment is positioned on the side of a beachfront building, providing seaside tranquility, away from the road noise. Open the wall-to-wall windows to smell the fresh sea air! The bedroom is cozy and quiet, featuring a king size bed and Egyptian cotton sheets…a touch of luxury to ensure a good night’s rest after a day of exploring Cape Town. The sofa in the lounge also converts into a comfy queen bed with dimensions 203cm x 152cm (6.5 ft x 5 ft). Sea Point is a vibrant upmarket oceanfront community that has experienced a revival in recent years, with trendy shops, coworking options, and restaurants adding to the hip-but-relaxed urban oceanfront vibe. There is a wide range of amenities within walking distance including coffee shops with fast wifi and shared office spaces. The unit includes secure gated parking for one car, and Ubers are widely available. You can also explore Cape Town via the MyCiti bus, which has an extensive route network. There are several bus stops adjacent to the apartment, and the central Queen’s Beach station is just a couple blocks away. For outdoor enthusiasts, the Sea Point Promenade – which is just across the road – is a great for a morning walk or run, and bicycle rentals are also available. In terms of security, there is a groundskeeper onsite 24/7. There is also a Police station across the road, next to the ticket kiosk at the Sea Point Pool, however, Sea Point tends to be a relatively safe neighborhood. Sea Point is a vibrant upmarket oceanfront community that has experienced a revival in recent years, with trendy shops, coworking options, and restaurants adding to the hip-but-relaxed urban oceanfront vibe. Camps Bay chic home with great views near beach

Wander through this stunning, bright townhouse and absorb design inspiration from its eclectic touches. Prepare a meal on the BBQ grill, take a swim in the pool, and light the fire pit while enjoying the sunset with family and friends. 11 The Retreat is only a 3 minute leisurely walk from the famous Camps Bay beach and restaurants. The house is spread over 3 levels. A 3 car private and lockable garage on the first, main living area inside and outside on the second level and bedrooms and bathrooms on the top and 3rd level. All levels are accessible by stairs and is therefore not wheelchair friendly or will not suit guests with walking difficulty. Accommodation is made up of 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Toilets are not separate but there is an additional guest loo on the second level. The house has a small private swimming pool, fire pit and gas barbecue. Pick n pay and a great variety of restaurants are just a short walk away. The property was newly renovated in 2015 and refurnished October 2016. For the duration of your stay, you will have access to the entire home. I am phone call away to assist with anything you may need during your stay. Enjoy security and serenity in the amazing neighborhood of Camps Bay. Stroll for just three minutes to the beach or enjoy the restaurant hub and local shops. Exploring beyond the area is easy with easy access to Cape Town and surrounding areas. Pluck lemons from the tree and pick herbs from the planters for use in a tasty dish to enjoy in the cool and shaded courtyard. The bright and airy cottage interior has high vaulted ceilings, together with a selection of books and magazines to read to enjoy in the bed made up with 400TC luxury linen. Battery backed up Wi-Fi and additional lights for surviving load shedding. No smoking allowed on property. Guests have own cottage with a private, shady courtyard. Herbs in planters in courtyard and dart board are available for guests to use as well as lemons on own lemon tree. We're an international family consisting of a South African, a New Zealander and a Norwegian. One of us will always be available on our phones and we're happy to chat and share a G&T on our porch if our guests are up for it! This guesthouse is in a quiet neighbourhood, about 15 minutes by car from town and near to vibrant Harfield. Closer still, the village offers a farm stall, butchery, and supermarket within a short walk, plus coffee shops and lots of restaurants. We always recommend uber for short term stays in Cape Town but there is an off-street sheltered parking available if needs be. 10 minute walk to Kenilworth train station and 2 minute walk from Main Road with frequent taxi buses in both directions. Servicing of cottage and laundry can be done on request. Continental breakfast can be provided on request.
