We had a truly warming and memorable stay at this wonderful place. It’s an ideal spot for families, especially those with children. The area is peaceful and safe, with plenty of open space for kids to play and explore. Inside, the house is both cozy and well-equipped. The bedding was especially nice—fresh, clean, and super comfortable, which made for restful nights after busy days. One of our favorite features was the fireplace, which made the winter evenings feel extra special and added to the overall cozy atmosphere. The kitchen deserves a special mention—spacious, modern, and fully stocked with everything we needed to cook for the whole family. It made preparing meals together a real pleasure. This place strikes the perfect balance between comfort and practicality. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing break or a fun-filled family retreat, it’s an excellent choice. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Had a great stay, with a great location, within walking distance to the Main Street for stores and restaurants. Also very helpful arrival/leaving instructions and recommendations. Would highly recommend.

We hebben 5 nachten gelogeerd op de prachtige plek Xairu. Het was een waar paradijs! Heeeel veel prachtige vogels gezien. Een schitterende omgeving, comfortabel huis met alles wat je nodig hebt en de communicatie met Yvette was heel prettig. Ze reageerde snel en geen vraag was teveel. Voor wie rust, comfort en schitterende natuur wil ervaren is Xairu DE plek om te verblijven! Ik en mijn 4 reisgenoten kunnen de plek van harte aanbevelen!

A wonderful space and lovely hosts. We had a really, really enjoyable visit. The location is perfect. Quiet but close to everything, we walked up and down the Main Street many times! The space is lovely, we were able to open up the doors to the winter sun. Will return!!

An absolute treasure surrounded by pristine nature on your doorstep. The home is tastefully furnished, extremely comfortable with an exceptionally well-equipped kitchen, a ceiling to floor bookcase filled with wonder and excitement and the wraparound porch allows sun worshippers or shade seekers opportunity to spend every moment outside. The beds are super comfy, and each room showcases the astounding view. Unwind, relax and soak up the serenity.... the only challenge is that you'll not want to leave.

Had a wonderful stay! Was very peaceful and we could totally relax. Eveything was clean and we really appreciated the extra touches such as complimentary champagne! The kol-kol was the highlight!

We had a wonderful stay with Marelize and Dawie! The hosts were friendly and very helpful. The unit was perfect, spacious and the fireplace was a big bonus for us. The location is absolutely perfect and ideal for anyone wanting to visit Franschhoek and all the surrounding wine farms. 100% would recommend!

Wir hatten während unseres Aufenthalts leider eine sehr herausfordernde Situation, da mein Partner einen Bandscheibenvorfall erlitt. Umso dankbarer sind wir für unseren großartigen Superhost, der uns in jeder Hinsicht unterstützt hat – sei es bei der schnellen Suche nach einem Arzt oder bei allen anderen Anliegen. Ihre Hilfsbereitschaft und Freundlichkeit haben uns wirklich berührt. Das Apartment selbst war wunderschön – geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick. Es hat uns in dieser schwierigen Zeit ein Stück Ruhe und Geborgenheit gegeben. This is an awesome little place located within a wine estate! We felt so cozy and the view from the balcony was just beautiful. We even spotted some springbok while enjoying the coffee and rusks left for us. Julie was so friendly and accommodating. Thank you and we will be back!

Amelia, the host was always super responsive and helpful. The apartment is smart with a very comfortable bed and in a quiet location a few mins drive from the centre of Franschoek or a 20 min easy walk. Would not hesitate to recommend

We loved our stay here! The ocean views were amazing and a perfect spot outside of Cape Town but not too far. Easy to drive to neighboring towns.

La casa está muy bien ubicada con muchos restaurantes y locales cerca. Zona tranquila y segura con parking cerrado. La casa es ideal para pasar más de una semana, bellamente decorada, tiene una terraza-balcón que x el corto tiempo no usamos pero es bella.

Prachtig appartement en fijne locatie. Bedden wel erg hard. Zou het zeker aanraden en wij komen nog eens terug.

We decided on an unscheduled trip to visit the kids in Stellenbosch. Looked for a place to just sleep as our itenirary was jam packed. I booked, and minutes later received confirmation and instructions. Well communicated, everything was as it is described. Book here if you need a good value 1-2 day stopover. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic apartment right in the very heart of Franschhoek - perfectly located for events happening in town. The apartment has everything one would need for a great stay. Mark is a very welcoming and accomodating host. One thing to note - It is directly above two restaurants which can make things a bit noisy - if you want total peace and quiet this might not work for you as the vibes continues into the night but if you enjoy such vibes this is an amazing spot. We will definitely be back!
