Tiny house holiday rentals in Capital District, New York

An incredibly charming, rustic, simple and comfortable small cottage, in a gorgeous rural setting. Just as advertised. It was perfect. Right across the road is Tivoli Bays, with beautiful trails for walking and hiking, and a small waterfall too. If you like, it's just a short walk to Broadway, the main strip in the village of Tivoli. You'll find a few restaurant options, a small market, sandwich shop, excellent coffee, and homemade ice cream. I met Yuko who couldn't be nicer and was a pleasure to chat with. A great experience all around - highly recommend booking a stay!

We absolutely loved Maple Hill Farms. It's a wonderful place and a perfect choice for a trip to the Berkshires if you're an animal lover. The best part of our weekend was bonding with Philip's sweet and friendly donkeys! The studio is well laid out with everything you need, the farm is beautiful and peaceful (except for the roosters, haha!), and the location is great for visiting local sights like Mass MoCA and The Mount. We hope to be back!

We had an amazing stay at the Georgie cottage! Andrew provided lots of great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area and the cottage was cute and peaceful. The kitchen was well stocked and the cottage was well-insulated and surprisingly cozy at night! We would love to stay here again

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in upstate NY. The place was spotless and exactly as shown in the photos. It was comfortable, well-maintained, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!

Arin & Brian’s place was nothing short of amazing ! From the minute we walked in , it felt like home . Our 21 month old daughter especially took a liking to the home . I was so shocked and happy to see how baby/toddler friendly their home is . From child locks to stair gates , you name it , they had it all! It was also very peaceful surroundings and private, which I always appreciate in an air b n b. Arin and Brian were great hosts too , checking in when needed. I would love to come again !

Thomas was an exceptional host and was very attentive. The actual cabin itself was so cozy it made it hard to want to go outside (luckily it was rainy most of the weekend). Lake George was a short 5 minute drive and walkable distance to get to, the surrounding woods and trial were extremely beautiful and quiet. The home was exactly as described and also had genius labeling on appliances concisely explaining how to use them. The kitchen was great, we cooked every meal and were so relaxed, the bed was great too everything was 10/10 would definitely go back and recommend!

Great cozy cabin in a perfect spot for Catskills exploration. Super close to places to eat in Phoenicia and surrounding area. Easy to find just off a main road but far enough away to be quiet. Very pleased, would book again.

The location was very quiet and an easy walk into Tivoli. I recommend that the refrigerator is raised by putting a cabinet underneath, or a taller refrigerator. I microwave would be a definite plus.

This cozy cottage on a stream was as peaceful and quiet as it gets. Sophie was a terrific host who responded quickly to our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

This actually wasn’t our first time staying at Art Park, our first time was a while back and we stayed at the Stag Haus (which was AMAZING 😉). So we really weren’t surprised on how amazing the Sugar Shack was going to be! Heidi & Arts attention to detail, and meeting the essence of unique never ceases to amaze us. From detailed check-in, to little things such as making sure there’s snacks & other refreshments being ready, and to her prompt messaging & sending thorough info on things to do around … talk about a super host 🤭 Heidi gave us a tour of the newest addition (The Hitching Post), and Blush … and boy were we blown away. Thank you again Heidi, we truly enjoyed getting to know about each listing and basking in each of its own unique design. (let me know when Art starts selling tables hehe 😉) My husband and I, have made it our mission to stay at each listing so we’re so excited for our next stay. And we hope you do too!!!! Mark’s & Lori’s tiny house was perfect base to show my parents around the Catskills. I was very impressed by the attention to detail in the house - I noticed great little touches like a torch, headlamps, and insect repellant. They even had a little stationary draw in the kitchen. I personally loved the fresh coffee beans available for use by guests. The house is located a short 10 min drive from Woodstock village if you want to grab groceries or eat out. It’s worth nothing that while the bedrooms aren’t full height, my 70 and 75 year old parents were able to navigate the stairs and low ceiling just fine. I can’t wait to go back to Mark & Lori’s tiny but perfect house! ❤️

The A-Frame on Pudding Hill was everything we were looking for — cozy, private, and super romantic. It had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations. The hot tub was a little tricky to turn on at first haha, but once it was going, it was perfect. Thank you, Lenny, for being such a thoughtful host. We felt truly cared for, and we’d love to return in the future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dreamy getaway!

The owners and all of their friends and family who helped them build this amazing place deserve a fantastic review, although admittedly, I wish I could keep it secret! The place is phenomenal. My daughter and I came to horse show at HITS and just had the most amazing stay. We cannot wait to come back.

My bf and I originally had booked Gloria’s place for 3 nights. We loved it so much that we extended it for another 2 nights and didn’t want to leave after! The house is very cozy in a peaceful, private and nature-y surroundings. It’s perfect for us. It felt like home. We had a great time! Thank you! 🤍

Honestly, I was very nervous when we started the short but steep hike to the treehouse. I thought, I’ve made a mistake. By the time we got there and I got my wits about me, I had the most magical stay. The pictures don’t do justice to how amazing the treehouse, loft and artist’s space are. We stayed out pretty late by the firepit enjoying the glow of the house from outside. With tons of cds to choose from we listened to music until we fell asleep. Early morning coffee with a morning fire was a treat too. The outhouse is clean and even pleasant (not your great grandma’s outhouse!). Like others, I would have been more than happy to have more time there. The treehouse is an architectural wonder, a bucket list “must see” and, all around, the thing that kids’ crazy dreams are made of. If you can make the hike — and it is a hike — I recommend this gem. I’ll never forget it.

Great little getaway. Nice fire stove outside to sit by with a beautiful forest. Floor to ceiling window in the cabin to admire the nature. Would recommend!

We had a great stay at Richard’s tiny house! It was affordable, cozy, and spotless, with beautiful views and a great location near waterfalls and the river. Richard was incredibly kind and knowledgeable—he even showed us around his home and gave us access to helpful facilities. His kayaking recommendations were better than anything we found online. A perfect spot for nature lovers!

My stay was super nice, even with the rain. My fur baby and I had a great time. The cottage is very cozy and offers an immense sense of peace. My fur baby's favorite part was the backyard. We spent most of our time playing fetch. Chloe is super friendly. I will visit the cottage again.

It truly felt like living in an enchanted fairytale for an evening which was the perfect amount of time spent. I was super excited when we pulled up. We were able to work on our songs while starting our next music video for our band HYPERDOLLS! My only thing... be cautious of the snakes! While walking around the house, two smaller snakes jumped because I was dancing in their area not paying attention to the ground and then we saw a much larger snake inside the rock on the home. We love nature of course but it made us cautious when it got dark to use the potty outside!! Definitely a beautiful place to stay and well kept on the inside :)

Erin’s place was absolutely lovely! We really enjoyed the location - so peaceful and conveniently close to Art Omi. The cabin was beautifully maintained, and we especially loved the interior design, which felt both stylish and cozy. We stayed for two nights but honestly wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!

Timothy is a great host and the cabin is beautifully decorated as well as comfortable. Love the kitchen and the goodies Timothy left us.

Stayed 2 nights in early June at Linda and Gene’s enchanting little stone cottage. Perfect weekend getaway space for 2. Early check in time was much appreciated. The place is tastefully decorated with a cool vibe. There is even an herb garden for guests to use, which came in handy for the delicious dinner we prepared one night. Nice fire pit and Adirondack chairs with ample firewood, etc. Will definitely be back as soon as possible. And having the radio on when we arrived, tuned to the amazing Woodstock radio station, was a welcoming touch.

We had yet another perfect stay at The Horse Farm with Georgette. We love the simplicity of being separate from the main house and she provides fresh eggs and breakfast items every time. We’re headed back!
