I had an amazing stay at thierry Airbnb! The house was exactly as described and even better than I expected. The space was clean, comfortable with thoughtful touches that made me feel right at home. Overall, that's good. Comfortable. The floor of the passage is higher than all the other rooms. So there is a step to go up or down to each room. Good to know for those who have difficulty with steps. We would have appreciated a fan with the air conditioning, it gets too cold and without too hot.

Excellent place and amazing host

The place in the photos looks a little bigger than it is, but it's very beautiful and enough for two people. Everything is decorated with simplicity and feels cozy. The view is incredible, you spend a very peaceful night with the silence of nature and a view of the entire GAM. It's easy to access. The kitchen is stocked. Everything was great.

Soon they will have a pool

Utterly breathtaking in every way! We can honestly say there is nothing remotely negative about this wonderful place! Marta and Douglas and Seoul (apologies for spelling) were so kind and welcomed us into what felt like their home. The apartment was immaculate, cool and so rich with wildlife we hardly needed to leave. The pool was welcome after a busy day and there were plenty of places to eat within 6-10 minutes walk. Mccaws, Toucans, Monkeys and a well-over 2m long iguana we named Rammstein were regular visitors on or in a tree next to our balcony. Magical! Breakfast was lovely and well priced with avocados freshly picked from their own trees. We didn't want to leave! Yes the hill is steep to get back - but the amazing Sandy and her pup Jack are always on hand to take you wherever you want to go for a great price! Rainmaker park is a must, with a trip to a Tilapia farm on the way back (weekends) to catch and feast on fresh fish. Thank you so much for the best time ever. Pura Vida!

The house is very beautiful in perfect condition and highly recommended

This is a great place if you're traveling on a budget! We had everything we needed for our stay while we located a permanent home rental. Josue was flexible and good to communicate with. This is a Tico house, so if you're new to Costa Rica, know that means no hot water except the in-line heater in the shower, no screens on the doors, and you shouldn't flush the toilet paper. But all that said, it's a comfortable house in the mountains with incredible views, and the cows are a bonus. We would recommend it to our friends!

The monkey house lived up to its name. We saw monkeys on 3 out of the 5 days we were at the house. Sam did a great job of communicating and keeping us in the loop. The home is close to the National Park and local beaches. The Mercadito nearby was also a great place to grab a snack and indulge with the locals. We will definitely be back. Pura Vida!

The neighborhood very quiet, very safe, central, the house too cozy, very clean, with welcome details I loved it, we feel very good the truth I recommend it and I think we are going to continue renting it very thank you Para Andres

A beautiful and very comfortable house, we loved the place, the attention and willingness of the host to answer questions and be aware of everything. The bottle of wine was a very special touch. Highly recommended and we hope to return soon.

Jorge is an amazing host. He checked in several times throughout our stay to ensure everything was all good. House was very clean, it had everything we needed for our stay. Don’t believe the 2-star review!!! It couldn't be further from our experience. Katrin is truly the perfect Airbnb host: responsive, warm, and incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond to make my boyfriend’s birthday unforgettable. When we arrived, the house was beautifully decorated — something she did all on her own initiative and she helped me arrange a delicious cake and made the perfect dinner reservation for us at Mangata. The house itself is stunning: peaceful, surrounded by nature, and just a short walk from the beach. If you're looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and thoughtfully managed place to stay, look no further. Katrin, you're the best and we’ll absolutely be back! With love

Excellent location and flexible check-in time

Marcel and his dad was extremely helpful! The house was beautiful and being next to the main strip of jaco beach without the hassle was amazing. Would recommend again and again! I will definitely always stay here when returning to Costa Rica

Fantastic and comfortable condo with views. Direct beach access with all amenities we needed. The gate guards were friendly as well and the common areas felt safe and secure. Thabks for a great stay!

I honestly can't say enough good things about my three month stay at Laura's San José condo. Laura and her brother, William, were wonderful throughout the whole stay, always helpful and responsive. THE CONDO: Looks just like the pictures and is very well furnished for long stays! They even had a pet bed and toys there for my pup! You'll spend lovely afternoons on the balcony watching the Pericos fly by. Condo has AC, but you hardly need it. My stay also came with weekly cleaning! THE COMMUNITY: Very welcoming. Everyone is extremely friendly. If you stay for awhile, try to get plugged into the community group chat. Avalon Country Club is a gated community with a lovely lake right behind the building and manicured gardens throughout. The elevated pool overlooks the San José valley. Right outside the gate are a vet and groomer, and a small corner store/grocery. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would rent this unit again.

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described if not better. The location is perfect, close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. Communication with John was flawless; he was responsive, helpful, and made everything super easy. You can tell they really care about the guest experience. I’d 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to have a great time. First option if go back again

Nice place. Worth the money

Eduardo is a great host and very attentive. The location is simply the best and the building comes with a beautiful pool gym , sauna and steam room which was very important for me. The location is simply the best you’re in the middle of escazu , and everything is in the area. Thank you Eduardo I hope to be back soon.
